I just made some for me, my husband and my kids ,and they love it ! you should keep making food videos ... plus I love michelle's videos also and her editing skills ! lol love you guys ,you guys make a great team .
Ralph, I'd like to thank you for sharing. Since my mom has passed away and I know zero pinoys, I am no longer exposed to the great foods. Guess I gotta cook it!
I tried, step by step, your recipe and would like to share the results!!!.......Delicious to the moon Degrees!! My wife was just very, very impressed and keeps asking to make more!! Thank you!!
I really like the concept of the limes! I believe my in-laws use vinegar as the acid, but the limes!!! 🤤 Whenever I asked my mother-in-law to teach me how to make any filipino dishes, she would encourage me to ask "Mr Google". 🤭 So here I am!
Cook more pinoy ulam like sinigang, tinola, menudo, kaldereta & some pinoy veggie ulam like ginisang sayote or deningdeng. I watched masterchef and so happy that u joined, finally pinoy pride yo!
Just found out about you big homie! I love it, hope you get back to making cooking videos. I just made your bistek recipe and it’s going into heavy rotation haha.
My Fiance's favorite dish. Thought of looking for other ways to see how other people make it out of curiosity. This videos was very entertaining, foodgasm as well as eargasm lol. Keep it up brotha...subbed.
Just tried your recipe at home today, it's delicious! And I love the video editing and the music choice! What's the name of the specific song? I tried searching for it on the Soundcloud link you provided but I can't find it! Thanks!!
Awesome video Kuya! Question... did you add the marination with the beef as well? I saw you only put the beef in there and didn’t know if you put in the whole bowl of where you put the marinated beef ?
In Egypt I was friends with the Philipino Ambassador's son and lived in his house for 6 months. They served this up ALL THE TIME and it was my favorite dish along with chicken adobo. I need Bistek in my life bro. I was wondering what kind of rice is best to serve this with? Thanks and please post more videos you big swag lord!
Your video shows you putting the marinated beef piece by piece on a skillet with oil and garlic/onions, then there was somehow "boiling". Did you put in the marinade mixture into the skillet as well, and was that what was boiling?
Thanks for asking yo! The beef soaked in some of the marinade and I put in a some of the marinade as well. Since I used eye round steak, so it was a quick cook! for tougher meat you can always add water or stock!
I haven’t been home for so long and i miss mama’s cookings, she have this idea of adding pineapples on a beef steak, I thought it was weird but it hits me. I love it.
Mmmmmm...bistek is my favourite! This was easy to follow and I like how you switched from showing us the food and you talking. I like the funny dance you did lol. I'm looking forward to more recipes!
I was watching a replay of MasterChef s9 ep12. That was a difficult round. Really really sad. From top to bottom. Hope to see more of your cooking. Regards to Joe please. I'm a fan.
Outstanding recipe Chef, love the hip hop stirring process at 2:58....lol. I'll use my reverse Nae Nae dance and see if it wakes up the flava. Anyways one of my favorite dishes to cook..Filipino Bistek.
Hello Happy Cynn, can't go wrong with the neutral oils (vegetable/grapeseed/canola) when cooking. I find that olive oil sometimes has this after taste whenenever you cook with it. For quick pan fried proteins, I do a combination of both though; the basting liquid with garlic always ends up being so goood.
I watched this video last night and now I have some flank steak marinating. I've adjusted the recipe a bit but your video was a HUGE inspiration. I hope it turns out well. :-D
Can you give an example of the difference between regular soy sauce and dark soy sauce? Also, is it okay to marinate longer than 2 hours? Like overnight? Thank you! A big fan of your content! Wish you had more videos!
Thanks Janice. Overnight should work, any longer than a couple of days, the beef starts to cure (will be something close to tapa after a while). Dark soy sauce is actually less saltier but the color makes whatever you're cooking darker.
Looks great but I have no idea why you layered the steak onions and garlic to then pour the marinade on and then mix everything up together didn't make any sense to me but looked good otherwise
Finally! I’ve been looking for an English speaking Filipino RUclipsr chef. So excited to try this!
Thanks Heather!

Antoine Vice Jasmine rice
Pounding the meat to tenderize it before marinating is suggested to even infused the marinade.
Great looking dish. Good job!

Maybe I missed this part, but did you add the rest of the marinade in when you put the meat in?

Do you prefer vegetable oil, olive oil or canola?
Hello Happy Cynn, can't go wrong with the neutral oils (vegetable/grapeseed/canola) when cooking. I find that olive oil sometimes has this after taste whenenever you cook with it. within span of 14min... is the meat soft enought to eat it?

You off the hook brah! Love it...keep doin what you do!
Cooking it today!! Thanks for sharing
Can i use olive oil instead of some vegetable oil?
you can, but preferabbly veggie oil!
Cooking this today. Looks amazing thnx for the awesome recipe.
What did you do to the rest of the marinade
can toss it in when cooking!
Idk if i used the wrong sauce. I just made mine rn and it's a bit salty and I didn't even add that pinch of salt.
@@RalphXavier how do you make it less salty
@@ithink2much26 the soy sauce is what adds the salty flavor, add more citrus and water/stock to dilute. It's meant to eat with rice as well!
Ralph Xavier Degala omg thank you so much. I need help making sinigang..... do you have a good recipe for one?
does it have to be 1 pound? I have a 0.5 pound in stock. please respond and thank you
use half soy!
I just watched you on the news kuya! Subscribed 💪
Hi it’s been some years, where are you sir? More videos are needed thanks.🙏🏽
Your a good vlogger kuya...you have more views than subscribers😍😍😍
Sir what is the name of the intro song of your video? can i know?
It would be great if you can do more cooking shows
Did u put the soysauce that u use in marinating?
Kristine Genetiano don’t need to 😊
Thankyou. I will cook it for my partner. More cooking show po. Specially using beef and chicken
What is the title of the background music po?
Will it be not rubbery tho?
Looks great but I have no idea why you layered the steak onions and garlic to then pour the marinade on and then mix everything up together didn't make any sense to me but looked good otherwise
just for the bowl I was using! if not the marinade would just sink in the bottom, the layers add more surface area :)
Can you show how to make lumpia
Minsan niluluto ni Mommy ko ito. Naging paborito ko na rin noong ipanakilala niya sa akin.
Day Dreamer same! Does she use lemon/calamansi/lime?
Ralph Xavier Degala Oo kuya. Lahat. Ano man ang magagamit jan o doon. Huwag lang siguro paulitulit.
What u been doing brother? Its been a while since ur last upload
got you fam! new uploads coming
WE NEED MORE VIDEOS PLEASE AND LONGER
So, it’s not salty? Honest question
No, it's not salty. It's delicious! Try out the recipe and let us know what you think :)
The acidity from the citrus, garlic, and onions balance out the saltiness! you can always adjust the amount of soy sauce too :)
Cooking video for chicken adobo!!
Dont u need 1 cup of water to simmer?
Those noodles are a little too oily though... LOL! Congrats on getting that Apron!
that rendered pork lyfe
