Hello everyone! I purchased a couple of these today: Vega Asia DF and Vega Europe DF, both have "max" thickness. After a couple of Butterfly Flextras (2.0mm) these feel really superfast! Especially Asia DF - it's like there are lots of little springs in there instead of sponge :) I don't know exactly yet how I will be managing my blocks... Right now it seems like my new rubbers will not allow me to play some defence if I want to. I beleive I'll get used to it eventually. Very grippy surface, very springy sponge - these rubbers are NOT for beginners. Just WOW really. Thanks, guys, for your review! I liked it.
This was a wonderful review. I've used the Vega series before but I'm more impressed with the Omega series. I'm currently using the Omega V Europe on my forehand, with a Rasant Grip on my backhand (on a Stiga Oversized WRB Allround blade), and I am totally and completely satisfied with it. I am intrigued by the Omega VII series. The stats associated with the Omega 7 rubbers seem to indicate they are faster but not necessarily spinnier than the Omega V rubbers. Unfortunately, I am not of means to buy table tennis equipment for sheer curiosity's sake. Could you summarize the difference between the Omega V series and the Omega 7 series?
TableTennisDaily hi! Can I see the test of Spinlord Marder IV and Irbis ll / these are the ultimate rubbers for aggressive players. Spinlord is a brand made in Germany with a good price, but I'm not sure about the quality of sponge...
What he says about the rubber being very good with the new ball is very true. I have a premade xiom 9.0 bat and the rubber is so top quality on it that it is amazing how well it grips the new ball and control in the game. Xiom is a very high quality rubber in my opinion i have been playing with this premade bat for 3 months straight everyday 2 hours per day and absolutely love it. Everything is very easy and very easy to develop your game.
I loved the part where tom explained the difference between the rubbers on screen, you should do more of that as i found it eaiser to understand rather than have to listen and watch at the same time. could you please review the butterfly viscaria blade paired with Hurricane 3 and tenergy 64. it is what most chinese players use e.g (zjk, wang liqin... malong uses similar setup) and the differences between tacky chinese rubbers and european tensor rubbers i have watched the hurricane 8 review, but i feel it would be great if you compared a offensive carbon blade, with a soft defensive blade with a tacky rubber. frank
What about a Review about the Tibhar Evolution EL-S & FX-S everybodys talkin' about!? Many player saying their better then Tenergy 05 & 05 FX Also would like you to review the Donic Ovtcharov Orginal Senso Carbon & And the Ovtcharov true Carbon! Thank you very much!
I used EL-S tonight, can assure you nothing like a tenergy in any way shape or form. It is soft sponge and topsheet is medium but very grippy. Is a nice rubber but can't compare to tenergy because it's nothing like it to start....
hello, can you pls describe difference bewtween XIOM Vega ASIA DF and Butterfly Rozena in terms of: speed, control, spin, sensitive for spin, arc ? I am choosing for forehand side...
Hey! Gionis uses Feint Long II on the backhand and Tenergy 05 on the forehand with Petr Korbel blade. You could try his combo? We will release a podcast with Gionis this week. Stay tuned :)
조정식 Generally softer sponge is better for beginners / intermetiate players, whilst harder sponge is generally for really good players who are used to high speed & high spin. Some Xiom rubbers to have harder sponges though.
I am using the Xiom Omega V Euro on my fh, and I have used the Xiom Vega Asia, Pro and Japan. For fh rubber, I would recommend Vega Japan/Pro, cause they are very easy to loop and their trajectories are not as long as Omega V Euro.
Hey I was wondering do you think the Vega Asia DF or vega Asia would be good for chopping on an ALL blade? I was thinking the Asia DF could be good on 1.8 or maybe the tougher Vega Asia 2.0 on a slightly more defensive blade?
how different is the xiom vega europe df from the xiom vega europe bcuz i bought the xiom vega europe and i want to know if it will be as good as the xiom vega europe df. pls answer:)
Tenergy is faster and with less control. The arc from T05 is higher. The rubbers have a similar amount of spin especially in the "open-up" but with the tenergy you can play fast topspins with a lot of rotation. With the Xiom you cant play fast topspins with the same amount of spin. But the Xiom Omega 7 Europe has a better control and the feeling is better. So if you want speed and spin but less control, take Tenergy. If you want spin and control with less speed, but with enough speed to play hard topspins, then take the Xiom (im german, sorry for my horrible english)
@@so_ein_richtiger_beki Don't worry I'm Mexican but I have curiosity because I play all the nights ping pong in my work and I want a buy one blade and rubber but I don't know what brand.
Guys - how would You compare Europe DF to Grip SFX & Asia DF to Powergrip SFX? What's different & wht's similar about them? I'd be thankfull for help :) All the best.
I am a huge fan of Xiom rubbers. It would be nice to see you guys testing the ever bestseller - Xiom Vega Pro.
its really good for half the price of those ridiculous butterfly rubbers.
Thanks for finally reviewing a Xiom product. Hope you can do more of them in the future. :)

Would you recommend one of the rubbers for modern defenders who have a playstyle like Filus or Gionis ? Or do you have other suggestions?
Hey! Gionis uses Feint Long II on the backhand and Tenergy 05 on the forehand with Petr Korbel blade. You could try his combo? We will release a podcast with Gionis this week. Stay tuned :)
which will you recomend for Xiom Zetro Quad ? i mean FH and BH
please xiom vega pro review i cant find a vid on it anywhere
i have heard hard sponge is good for plastic ball.
why uses xiom soft sponge..?
조정식 Generally softer sponge is better for beginners / intermetiate players, whilst harder sponge is generally for really good players who are used to high speed & high spin. Some Xiom rubbers to have harder sponges though.
the omega series is using dynamic friction also, it would be nice to see a comparison.
I am using the Xiom Omega V Euro on my fh, and I have used the Xiom Vega Asia, Pro and Japan. For fh rubber, I would recommend Vega Japan/Pro, cause they are very easy to loop and their trajectories are not as long as Omega V Euro.

Hahah 4:47 Dans face :)
Btw great rubbers...
I think the name of the brand is supposed to be pronounced 'axiom', like in mathematics?
I had wondered this... i think there are a few versions :)
Xiom says it's pronounced "Axiom" so yeah. Haha
Kinda make sense since their rubber line are named like Omega/ Sigma. Sounds pretty math-y.
There was a company already called 'Axiom' Otherwise, it'd be spelled that way too. Haha
Please review the nittaku fast arc c1
vega euro vs power grip sfx
Tom and I
it is pronounced axiom not ziom
엑시옴 베가시리즈도 리뷰를 하네ㅋㅋ
