What if they had 2 doubles tournaments? One (the main one) with team attack, and the other without team attack? It makes the organizers money, and it can allow the casual players to have fun. Basically what I'm saying is, if there are enough people willing to play wacky rulesets so that people can make money (both players and organizers) then open it! Obviously don't take away from the competitive ruleset though. But if people want to play Rishi's jungle jam, and everyone makes money, why not?
Something I recently found out is that the gentleman’s rule is more complicated. Players can agree to anything, being stage, random characters, and items, however only stage can be used in pools, and the others are only aloud in round robin pools.
