@@JakCosplay How would you go about trying to dye hair a vibrant blue black / vibrant midnight blue? You know where its a blue so dark it looks black, or a black that has a very noticeable blue hue to it. I'm just getting into hair extensions, but none match my hair color so I have to try and dye them, but I'm terrified that I'll do it wrong or not get the color right. I have heard of this watercolor method you show, a ink/alcohol soak, a ink/alcohol spray with both of those using acrylic ink or alcohol ink. So I'm 100% confused on what to do. I just know that I really want the color to be vibrant and not dull, and that a lot of the US stores have rit dye which is impossible to make vibrant so I'm hoping you might be able to help.
@@Narconia hmmm I never used black or tried to create a really dark color, guess I would buy black and blue and do some tests. You will probably need more blue than black 🤔 the color might change depending on your base wig fibers, I had wigs which easily absorbed the color and others didn't... So it is basically trial and error 😣

How do u get the color to stop bleeding??? I did crimson red on my blonde/red synthetic unit and as i was styling my hands and everything was stained!!! I feel like the color came off the wig too. What did i do wrong?
Hi, Die Anleitung ist echt toll. Hab meine dunkelgrüne wig. Mit dem schwarz gefärbt. Wollte ein dunkleres grün haben. Leider war ich so über vorsichtig und es ist nicht ganz so dunkel geworden wie ich wollte. Aber das schwarz hat das satte ein wenig rausgenommen, was mir sehr gefällt. Kann ich nur empfehlen. Zumal die farbe echt nicht teuer ist.
Cool... ich will demnächst auch nochmal eine meiner Perücken dezent ändern. Die ist aktuell Ash-Blond aber ich müsste die eher Gold blond haben. Denke mit IDye klappt sowas echt ganz gut.
Du hast nicht zufällig irgendwann mal eine perücke auch nur mit dem Grün gefärbt oder? Mich würde nämlich mal sehr interessieren wie da das farbergebnis geworden wäre
No it shouldnt but you have to clean it reeeeealllyyy long... I needed about 15-20minutes of clear water and shampoo too remove all the color left overs.
Hi gabi, may do a testrun with the lace before you get started. Mine dint changed that much, and even if it would, you can cover the edges with a high coverage concealer for a natural look.
I would go for brown and golden yellow if you want to dye a white one. I would start with 50/50 ratio and check if the yellow is to dominant at a test weft, than you can still add more brown for a different outcome. The heating temperature and the time does also effect the result. Take notes on your test pieces to recreate a perfect result ;-)

Did you just washed it with clear water or did you also used wig shampoo? I washed mine about 15-25minutes long, so this actually took a long time!

Would normal shampoo also work? Or only with synthetic wig shampoo?

I’ve seen a few tutorials and it didn’t dye the lace in any of them.
