Paula, You just don't know how much brightness, you bring all of us at such a dark time.I just wanted to say "Thank you".
Speaking of catching up...I’ve gotten back into my Bible. What a blessing! Start with Psalms. It’s very uplifting considering what’s going on now.
BAHAHAHAHAHAJA
❤❤❤
@@lisareed5669 What was so hilarious?
@To Be Honest She's not a racist, but the media made her one for their viewcounts.
Thank you for the advice. I’m always at a loss as to where to start.
I am warmed by your kindness and bright personality in a more relaxed setting than in your more professional past videos. This should be an ongoing series.
Paula Deen you are a nut! Love love love that cackling laugh. Your soul just dances when you get to cookin'. Thank you for helping our souls with your dancing spirit. Love you
Jenny
Beautiful comment ♥
I'm still a fan Mrs Paula..I still adding a lil extra butter because of you. Hugs from California.💓
Dorcas Powell...me2.
never cancelled Paula. I only have love to give. Hate and unforgiveness is toxic.🏵️🌹🌻🌷
I am to Dorcas
Me as well.
We've seen and experienced far worse. Love is more powerful. I just wish folks remind themselves, " Out of the heart the mouth speaks"...and lots of times we get caught in our feelings. When we say crazy things out of emotion...we don't take it to be out of hate...so why label that on someone else. Truly be fair. Truly allow an apology..we are human...and truly forgive.
She could sit at my table any day. ANY DAY.
Morrison Morrison I feel the same. Never stopped being a fan.😊
🦋
I am so thankful for Ms. Paula. She is really putting herself out there and it helps so much when you are all alone and the virus is happening all around you. Thank you Ms. Paula for taking the time to share your life and these beautiful recipe's with us. You are truly a ray of sunshine in these dark days. I just love you to pieces, thank you again. My warmest and best regards, always ~ Todd K. Booth
aawwwwww
Todd Booth are you all alone? I've got my husband here but you can email me if you want someone to talk to. peggysuegibbons@yahoo.com. I'm in Missouri.
I'm alone too and I love it, can't stand 90% of the human population.
I know Paula get's a lot of criticism but she comes across as genuine and kind spirited.
I LOVE the video o f the day she got married!!!It was so sweet and also hilarious!!!
I'll have to check it out thanks fir the heads up :)
Max makes Racists always do...
@Jake Tappert .. Do you feel better attacking a woman with no basis.. No one complained but the media and people that was not there.. Paula rocks..
@Jake Tappert .. It must be tough on your ivory tower playing God judging someone when you were not there. The person complaining wasn't there.. The people there said nothing.. But you judge and hate that's all you have.. It's pretty pathetic.. God you are not..
My mom passed away 4 years ago, every thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter my mom would make a fruit salad with grapes, apples , bananas and walnuts or pecans and she used miracle whip, everyone loved it. My job was to cut the grapes in half and remove the seeds.🤗 the cream cheese and brown sugar, puts it over the top . I’m going to try this salad next dinner the family can get together, we usually have 23 to 27 at our holiday get togethers. Love ya Paula.
When you, Ina, and the late night guys, come into our homes and speak to us, and you are REAL, then we feel better. Thank you.
@To Be Honest Haha maybe but comfort food.
I like grapes in my chicken salad.
@To Be Honest First, make it your own by changing up the ingredients to suit your fastidious tastes. Second, not much is truly unhealthy if eaten in moderation! You aren't supposed to drown yourself in it, just eat a few bites with your meal and give your taste buds a treat! In fact, it would make a nice desert!
Cheese a mistake. And just get on with it. Tooooi long
"Pastor Paula's" preachin' from the kitchen is divine healing for me! Love and blessings to Albany, GA. Thanks so much. These videos are like a ray of sunshine.
This is way better than your old FN show. I love getting g the (Real) Paula. Your wonderful and really brighten up my boring days. Love ya! 😘
I totally agree.
Sweet Aunt Peggy 💖
Y'all take care 🙏✝️🕊️🇺🇸
It’s your laughter and your forgiving spirit that bring warmth to your recipes. If I were sitting right there I know you would make me feel at home 😊
Going out everyday was my socializing at times. I miss it but have eaten well from my storage. I love watching you, Paula, and you bring back some good church dinner/ family get together memories .

Paula’s voice is ASMR to my ears... I feel so comforted by her recipe videos😌
Hi there Kerry !
Enjoyed this segment as well as the others. Thank-you for being there to keep our spirits up! It's pure joy!
If Paula was from the United Kingdom she would 100% be Dame Paula Deen. America your lucky to have this beautiful ball of sunshine.
You can have her. All of her food is butter and sugar.
And she's a racist a-hole. You can keep her and her shitty food.
Thank you! We like her!
Maxie is she really? She’s not known in the UK.
USfan 12 is Paula well liked in the US?
Paula! None of us have the strength we once had. We are mortal beings with physical limitations. I'm there! But still thankful and grateful. You look great. Bless you. Oh yeah, that grape salad sure brings back memories.🙂
When I was little, I remember the ladies at my church would prepare food for evening services and Grape Salad was one of the dishes. I don't think it had cheese in it tho. But man oh man was it good! I'd be ready to dig in, but they would always say to let our guests be served first.😒 Lol. This really took me back Ms Paula. 🤗🥰🤗🥰
Cynthia Cummings me too💕
ooga booga me tree
Paula Deen, you are a National Treasure! I love taking time to watch these little shows daily. It's great to distress listening to your voice.
I make this base but also add a teaspoon of vanilla to the cream cheese, sour cream and sugar mixture
Sherry Hudson My recipe calls for green grapes and crushed up Heath bars sprinkled on top.
Loving all these recipes. "Don't put baby in a corner." had me cracking up. This is nice inspirational stuff. Thank you for keeping up the content during Covid, Ms. Paula.
Julia Child the 2nd😂🤣😝
" I'm going to stick my finger in it and see if it needs more sugar!" Classic!! Gotta love her! Don't change a thing!!
Paula, I look forward to your videos, you're helping, even in just a small way, to pass part of my day away. I'm so happy to spend this time with you. Thanks, stay safe, love you.
Your laugh will get us through this hard time. Always makes me smile when you laugh, thank you for doing these videos!
Yes, and every time you laugh, ... like that Paula, I'm right there laughing too!
What a blessing to be quarantined with Paula at her home!😀❤️
Gail Edwards Yup. A blessing to a devil...
Vilma Betancourt The one thing racists are good at is attempting to call out folks who call out racist ass mayonnaise ass bitches.
She lost me when she added the cheese ... But I would love to taste this
Same. Not that there's anything inherently wrong with a fruit & cheese combination, but personally this salad would be a lot more appealing to me without. I'd also probably do about half the creamy sauce so all the fruit isn't so drowned. But the overall spirit of the recipe, with the plump juicy grapes, bits of pineapple/apple/cherry, sweetened cream cheese & toasted nuts sounds sooooo delicious.
Whit B AND I might have left the mayonnaise out too & I’m one of those people who LOVE mayo ... But if she made it for me I would DEF try it
I agree I got kinda mad with the cheese. 😣😣 lol
I thought that too, but folks eat cheese on their fruit pies! Maybe it's good! I'd try it once. Twice to be sure. Three times to really get a good taste!
And Mayo🤢
That face in the thumbnail. I can hear that distinct laugh. Love her!!!
Mrs. Paula, I'm a single lady who works in healthcare. I don't know what I would do without coming home and watching your videos. I have missed your sweet show on TV, but this is like sitting in your kitchen with you. I even talk to you, but I don't think you can hear me. LOL Love you Mrs. Paula and thank you for being here for us.
Paula, that salad takes me back about 40 years.
My great aunt would only put mayo in it.
I’m going to try it your way, it looks yummy!
Thank you 🌻💕👍🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🌷
I just love your aunt. Thank you for these. I live alone & this reminds me of my family when I was a little girl. God bless
Blessings to you, Paula, and your Aunt Peggy. Stay Well & Safe. You are Loved. Thank you for coming into my kitchen from your kitchen. 🙏🏼❤️
Watching you, Paula lifts my spirit. I love hearing you laugh and I love watching a real cook make delicious dishes. Please keep these videos coming ❤️
I got distracted on how gorgeous your dog is please include this sweetie in more videos
Pople BackyardFarm I agree, I love to see the doggies!!!
It’s been taking a week or more for food deliveries from my local grocery store here in the Philadelphia, Pa. area. So you have to plan ahead. I feel lucky that I’m even getting a delivery. Thank the good Lord.
It's 8 days here in Atlanta.
I love these home kitchen videos, no scripts, just like if we were there with you visiting in your house. And making delicious food, what joy!
Hey Paula. I saw the thumbnail and was intrigued. How fortunate you are to still have your Aunt. Before I watch this, here's what I'd put in a grape salad: red and white grapes, sour cream, mayo, chopped apples, finely chopped celery, a pinch of sugar, if needed a splash of mild vinegar like rice vinegar or lemon juice, if I had a super sweet onion maybe a little bit of finely minced onion, a pinch of Caraway seeds, walnuts, maybe sweet basil or tarragon, white pepper, and feta or blue cheese. (I just realized, I think that's a Yankee salad ; ) (I just heard you say cream cheese. Excellent. Definitely.) Of course, for a sweeter salad, citrus like mandarins, pineapple, and the cheddar you used would make a lovely salad. Raisins, cherries, cheese...I could eat that by the gallon!🙂 Thanks for sharing.
P.S. It's so true about recipes. I wish I had written down the way I made so many things when I made them, especially the amounts of certain ingredients. I just eyeball almost everything.
I like Paula I have always enjoyed her cooking shows it’s sad that her food network show was canceled for simple mistake by the cancel culture.
Layla Ali she was being racist tho, that’s why she was cancelled
@@yondermileslimpey3892 no, she wasn't "being racist" though. I don't think people know what that even means anymore.
@@yondermileslimpey3892 And people change. It's forgivable.
Her comments weren't racist, nor is her heart. That whole situation was blown way out of proportion. Who suffered from that? Paula and her fans. Paula was deeply hurt and her fans lost their favorite show. If it weren't shows like Inside Edition and TMZ sticking their spin on things and hyping the media this never would have happened. They are blood sucking worms!
Yonder, she's nowhere near a racist. People throw that card around far too much. Ridiculous.
I just appreciate all of the quick and easy recipes you are posting. I’m juggling home schooling, working full time , and making sure my family is safe. I’m loving these recipes. I made your pea salad last night it was so good and simple. Tomorrow I’m making your corn casserole. Thank you for brightening my day. Your laugh is infectious and you are such a breath of fresh air amongst all the craziness happening. God bless you and your family!
I am really enjoying the “raw” Paula deen!!! I laugh and smile with every video. Thank you lady for making me smile and laugh. It’s much needed right now
I would so throw a handful or two of coconut flakes in that.❤️
Mmmm. Toasted coconut.
My Mamaw would have put coconut in her’s also!
Yeah, there are several ways you can change up this recipe every time you make it.
Love it!!! So glad to see Aunt Peggy!!! Thanks for the great videos 😊
Paula thank you for bringing out this fruit salad recipe/ I love fruit salads been eating them since the 70s with all kinds of fruit/ I will try yours this week/ another good one is the Hawaiian Delight it has pineapples, Mandarin oranges, mini marshmallows , sweet coconut, sugar, sour cream and you let it sit overnight and it is really really good. Thanks Paula for having us to keep cooking during the Coronavirus it's a joy/ may you and your family stay safe too /I have friends in Georgia and Florida also they're safe so far/ love you Paula/ Peggy from California / don't lose those country hips LOL
"Skinning" a cat refers to catfish not kittens.
I didn't know that! What a relief!
I'm Southern and didn't know that!
I didn't know that either! Makes me feel a whole lot better!
Emily Buchanan Thank you for the clarification, that’s much better!!!
sooo why don't they sat catfish?!
These are just fantastic recipes.
@@celsot8285 you're a racist.
Celso T if you don't like her why are you here? To just be hateful? I'll pray for you.

I want to apologize about saying Paula Dean is racist i had way to many beers
I am just loving these videos. I do feel like I'm hanging with y'all on your kitchen stool. Reminds me of being in the kitchen with the women in my family. 💕
I love salads with raw fruits! The natural sweetness and sourness of raw fruits is like a secondary dressing. I think it's attractive. Healed and love this salad!
So surprised when Ms Paula grabbed the cheese!
Me too, I still don't know if it works!
@@stardustgirl2904...
Mmmm. Don't know about the cheese, either. Maybe it's a regional thing. In Texas, we didn't do the cheese.🍇🍒🍏🍍
Me, too!
Never used cheese or other fruit, it's a grape salad. That wss more like a fruit salad
My Mom would make a jello salad and top it with cool whip and shredded cheese...so good! I bet the cheese would give this a great taste! Nebraska here.
Ms. Paula.. I have owned a custom floral decorating business in DC for 37 years. I don't know how I did what I did either. But I can tell you this...We do what we have to do to keep the lights on. I always said my retirement plan was to set up the ballroom and after my client sees the room and signs the check I'll just drop dead; be rolled under the buffet table till the event is over when the'll sweep me up and haul me to the dump with the trash!! Thing is..I have learned that my grandma was so smart. She always said to never say you will never do something because sure as the sun will come up tomorrow you will have to do whatever it is before you leave this old world. So I'm careful to say I HOPE I never have to do something. And you had 2 boys to raise as a single parent. THAT'S how you did all that you did. You HAD to climb those steps! And that is how and why and how you are WHO and WHERE you are today. My hat's off to you. Be well...
Love you Paula. Thanks for the recipies 💜💜💜
'I told you we could break out those arm weights!'
"I just don't want to!" No truer words have ever been spoken!
Can you post some recipes that you used to lose all your weight? We are at home getting fat eating all these high calorie foods. Stay well and happy!
Smaller portions, less fat/sugar, bad carbs and more exercise.
Pretty basic guidelines.
Paula Deen has never been sain! But she has performed miracles and apparently is well loved. My mom (1908-1998) was also a fabulous cook, and was well loved by many. Paula and my mom could have been sisters. I lived in Savannah 3 times but never had the fortune of eating her food. Perhaps one day we will dine together at same table!
Stay safe and healthy!
Aunt Peggy - ah, the memories!!!! So glad to see her safe & sound! 🥰
I'm alone , was in tears today , the sound of your voice soothes me , best anti depressant known to man , thank you Paula xo
You have such a kind, loving, good heart. ❤️ Bless you
I LOVE Paula Deen... Always have and ALWAYS Will... She sounds like my grandmother who was from Savannah, GA
I bet this is great! Thank you for sharing 😁 I just did your pineapple casserole on a video a week or so ago and everyone loved it! ❤️
Hey Paula great video! So glad you got your Aunt peggy, family is a blessing💓

I love this old timey salad , haven't had any in years . Hubby and grandson don't like cream cheese though ...maybe i'll be ok without it !
Can’t wait to try this! Thanks for making our days bright. You go girl!
Good morning Ms. Paula,

So very thankful your such a good niece you went and got ur Auntie and brought her there y'all all can be blessed company to one another each keeping spirits up that's good. Staying together what a loving home. Thanks and Lord bless you for keeping us all company.
I no longer eat sugar and hardly any fruit but this makes my mouth water! Paula you inspired a love for cooking in me when you were on the Food Network. I love your style and enthusiasm of cooking and even though I eat a different diet now, I’m really enjoying these quarantine videos. Thank you for being such an inspiration to so many.
Oh, I remember this! My Great Aunts in Alabama used to make something like this but they just called it fruit salad. I remember visiting as a kid and looking at it, looking at my mom, looking at it and going? UMMM? She would always indicated sternly with a sharp nod of her head that, yes, indeed, you will try it. heh heh. It was strange but very delicious.
How do you spell Pandemic Relief???? Grape salad. 🦋I just had to use up some grapes before they “ turned” . By memory I made mine today from the grapes, cream cheese , pecans … lightly roasted..( yes! Pea- cans) from our sons property here in central Georgia, and as you have just said off the cuff… some mandarin oranges ( had to use them up too.) along with a mix of stevia and maple syrup as I don’t do well on cane sugar after a lifetime of Dixie Crystals🙊After the fact I saw your video and you’re right I am going to pull that dish out and add some Dukes mayo and some pineapple tidbits. Thanks again Paula…. If you only knew when you made this video just how LONG this pandemic would go on… hope Aunt ( Ant) Peggie is doing alright. So anyway… Great ideas that keep on giving. Marjorie ( aka Sissy) from Georgia US
DO YOU EVEN REALIZE HOW MUCH YOU ARE LOVED.THEY DID YOU WRONG HONEY AND IM MAD AS HELL
Ps. I hardly watch food network anymore. I miss your terrific shows. But these videos are just as good 'cause we have you, Theresa and your aunt.
We are praying for everyone Paula. I hope you get a spot on tv one day but it's nice to see you here. Stay well y'all ! 💛😷🥴
PS You are looking slim, goodness knows how!!
When you eat a comfort food its the same feeling i get while watchinh and listening to you cook and share reciepes. All the southern elders in my small family have passed on so watching this brings me such a warm fuzzy visiting with family feeling and i wanted to thank you.
I love eating cheese with grapes, apples n raisins together, I like Colby Jack n harvatti or mild cheddar n string cheese these days..would think powdered sugar maybe instead of regular sugar. That salad looks soooo good. Love Paula watched many many hours back in the day.. so crappy what Food Network did to her...
Seriously, you are the only celebrity chef I enjoy watching and the only recipes I have used. Thank you for sharing! Would you be willing to teach how to make a banana cream pie? It is my husband's favorite pie and I would love to learn how to make this for him.
Hi Mrs Dean
Love seeing your Auntie at your home
That’s what family is for , your son was so kind to go & pick her up .. you guys are awesome :-)
Is that’s your moms sis or your dads ??
That salad looks fabulous...
Ps When my husband visited Savanna
We ate at Lady & sons
The hoe cakes were amazing , we had the dinner buffet & loved everything we tried ....
Thank you MS Paula

she should add reese cups and kung pow chicken to it too
I love this format Ms. Paula, like this better that when you had the show. I miss those times before life imploded. I love grape salad, I had it at a company potluck and it was fabulous! The salad I had only had grapes, can't wait to make and add apples and pineapple. That is why I love cooking, can change it up to your liking.
Love you, Paula! You've always been my favorite cook! I'm so happy you are doing this series of videos! Keep giggling!
I love Grape Salad. I use my Momma's recipe. The cream cheese. Sour cream and she used Brown sugar. No mayo or cheese grapes n nuts. It gets better every day it's in refrigerator. But it doesn't last long. Thank you Paula Dean for highlighting this simple recipe ❤🤍💙💋
I’m not so sure about the cheese. However I may think a tiny bit of blue cheese would be better then cheddar. ? I’m undecided 🤷♀️
Heck yeah, the tartness from the Blue Cheese would make it OUTSTANDING!!!!
Romaine Jayne tartness ain’t the word...it’s pungency
@@ddobro2
...yep, that's for sure!!!
I absolutely love you, and I love your salads. I will have to try. I am from Ohio, so I am one of those people up north, and it sounds good. I am so happy to find you on you tube. Thanks for all the enjoyment you have made in my life. I have been a fan for years. All my family know I think you are the best one. I have two grown boys (men) also. Stay safe. Love you.
