Featuring Mario water world music by Mike 😁. That Reinforced roof is a huge plus if done right you'll never have to worry about leaks and you already got a build in deck.
Not asking the price you paid, but can you say how much you knocked off the price for the injector leaks? Also, you mentioned the squeaking when turning off engine. What is that? Thanks
$800 was all I could talk him down for the parts and labor to fix the seal leak. Seller had seen my video and knew it was just an afternoon job for me. If not for spotting that leak, he wasn't willing to budge from his asking price.
Thanks for the video Florida van man! You guys are hilarious. How much did you end up paying for that van, it would be very useful to know what the going rate is. Thanks for your videos
This trip was made for a viewer who actually bought the van. We went to view on her behalf so I can't reveal what she paid. I'm happy to discuss current market values including location variables in text messages. The downloadable buyers guide has my number. Donation is required for the d/l, requested for 1on1. We also help shop and find vans.
Thank you for the reply. I understand. I would definitely hire you to inspect a potential purchase vehicle for me. Anybody else out there reading this should consider doing the same. Your expertise is priceless. One piece of feedback for you would be that sometimes you recommend a van isn't worth buying for a conversion just because of the cost and effort that goes into conversion. Don't forget that not all conversions are five-star conversions with all of the "bells and whistles" . I think a quick, more "utilitarian" conversion would be okay to do on a van that is a little worse for wear. Something for people to keep in mind as the difficulty in finding a real cherry t1n only increases as the years go by. Just my two cents. thanks again.!
@@ericschweitzer2454 Good Point! When building on a smaller budget and planning to get your investment back in use, not worrying about resale value, rusty vans and rebuilt titles can be found much cheaper giving the freedom to make mistakes, changes and try wild ideas.
Can´t we at least know the asking price? Also, do black death leaks seal themselves when the engine is really hot? Do they get worse? What happens with the temp gradient? Thanks either way.
Asking price was $15k. Black Death does not self seal, quite the opposite. It grows worse as the copper erodes. Hot or cold has little difference from my experience.

The squeak went away with a bit of belt dressing.
