- In this video I shared my thoughts on Ola S1 Pro Gen 1.
My scooter is a 17 month old vehicle which has 17K km in its Odo.
So I wanted to do a range test and shared my experience in this video.
I twice did a range test in the same route when the vehicle was 5 months old. In the same route I started a range test ride.
In between I faced few struggles which I clearly explained in this video

Bro in dashboard customise NM and Power and choose sports mode because when more power is used motor will try to take more power from battery then we face this issue.
Okay bro, while riding in hills any how it will take more current and hence it gets heated up quickly. My only concern is when it was new, there was no issue and it went up twice without any performance issue. Third time I faced this performance issue and it's due to MCU failure
I face same issue. After changing mcu under warranty in free of cost, no range issue and no performance issue.

If not covered under warranty, what will be the replacement cost of MCU bro. Also I recently bought the Ola S1 X+ not yet delivered, should I choose to add the extended warranty

Is that VCU or MCU bro?, mine has no issue after the MCU change. Maybe the MCU configuration was not done correctly. You can request Service centre personnel to recalibrate MCU

Agreed to your point bro. They are concentrating more on sales than after sales service. Recently in a announcement they told that they would be opening 600 service centres across India. Once that's done, there can be a chance for improvement in service.

Hi.. how is ola s1x 4kw.... Im using activa, daily use to travel around 60km.... Can i buy it? Please suggest
S1X 4kwh scooter is not available for test rides till date. As per my understanding it's a value for money product which gives you a real world range of 140kms per charge with 8 years battery warranty.
Only concern is service which Ola is working on and in the next couple of months, they are increasing 600 service centres across the country.
I would suggest you to test ride the scooter before booking. You can try S1X plus which is available for test rides and S1X is similar kind of scooter with key

If it's just for travel, choose Ola, if you use a vehicle frequently for load carrying, choose Iqube as its build quality is good compared to Ola

It is not motor issue ,if motor is connected directly to battery ,it work perfectly,but why they use advanced materials like mcu,it cause failure issue
It's an MCU issue only, if the MCU is not used, how you will control the speed of the motor. How regen will work?
@@logusubramani me use hero optime ,only controller for control motor,but ola ,they fixed advanced computer system ,so it cause update issue for os corrupt issue
I bought aug 2021 , double battery ,it milage is still 130-135km still there is no issue ,each battery gave 65-68km ,no complain in particular vehicle ,almost 3yrs complete,perfect working ,one disadvantages 1,,) body parts not upto the quality,2) top speed is only 55km/hr

Reach out to Ola service centre and ask them to check your vehicle's MCU log bro.
If there was a fault code in Log, MCU can be replaced under warranty

No bro, my scooter actually had issues with the MCU, service centre person analysed the logs and later on we changed the MCU as log has fault codes.
Video end la mention panirupen. MCU failure aanadhala scooter la bayangara vibration and noise.

As the vehicle is under warranty, they replaced it for free. If it's out of warranty, we have to pay around 15-18k INR bro

In normal mode my scooter gives only 80 kms range. May I know the range of your scooter in normal mode?
If I maintain speed between 45-50 I am getting range around 140 kms per charge bro. If the speed is between 55-65, range would be 105-100 kms per charge

Use must to use cruise control in NH and Avg Speed must be 55-57. Then you can get min 130Kms Range
