Harley Quinn, who gets 1 hit KO'd every time she appears in the arkham games, is exactly what we need to stop the entire Justice League apparently
In fairness those games really under represented her capabilities as a villain, literally like any other version of her beats her arkham incarnations and that's not to say she can beat batman but she was never a total chump like they always depicted her as in these games, I think this is the game to redeem her tho and like they Said in the gameplay episode, it's not that they're the best for the job its that they're the only people available.
The Arkham games didn't have the power of Micro-Transactions to make her super strong!

@itserikthedud no but they did have writers who kind of failed to deliver on strong writing of the women characters, all the women needing saving in the games for one if you think about, and it's not about making anyone a mary sue character but when you compare say the gotham sirens in the arkham games vs their other appearances, the other ones tend to be better developed and better showcased. However I did love the looks and voice work of the 3 in the games as well as some personality traits.

Gotham knights might be a little better at least the melee was decent and it made the characters different…but from what I’ve seen with this game, everybody is the same 😂

@@B.Nutter91Melee is different but a bit slow and floaty, Traversal sucks, story’s alright, the fact that there’s still no performance 60 fps mode is inexcusable for a ps5 game. Overall the game for me was a 6.5 maybe 7 out of 10. If the gameplay was similar to origins and the costumes actually looked good the 6.5 would be a solid 9.
@@Gem.4Avengers story was Ight, Traversal was ok with some characters (Iron man,Thor(s),Captain America.
Although the rest of them felt super slow and you’d find yourself bunny hopping a lot to speed it up. Melee combat/ranged was actually really nice but the gameplay loop was super repetitive, same room over and over again, same elevator, same enemy types/variations, terrible character models and few good costumes (locked behind paywalls ofc), terrible matchmaking, tons of bugs and glitches that still exist even after the final update, and many of the drop rates for certain gear pieces were so rare a big portion of the player base adopted the idea of “save-scumming” so they wouldn’t waste any more time.
Overall Avengers for me was a solid 6.8, I spent a good 300 hours on it since the beginning hoping CD would fix it but I was wrong to dream.
TLDR: both Avengers and Gotham Knights were great concepts, amazing even… but both the developers failed to deliver the experience players expected.
Poor Harley diseign. No comparasion to Arkham one.

@@burnedtoachrisThat doesn’t matter, devs said they look like that because that’s how the Villians perceive themselves and their world. The also went on to add that the Arkham trilogy looked different from this game because those 3 games were played from Batman’s perspective.

Bear in mind this is the Arkhamverse Harley who is much much worse than the Harley in comics and tv. The things she did to Jason Todd made her unforgivable in my eyes.
Joker tortured him, harley is never involved in that storyline. Jason Todd would have wanted her dead In Arkham knight if that was the case but he recruited her along with the other guys

If you are from any other country other than America I would not recommend buying this game as being a person who lives in New Zealand. I got tricked by Warner brother games what they did was false advertising. They told everybody around the whole entire world no matter what country you’re in the game will come out on the 30th at 12 PM. Not realizing that other countries around the world have different time zones now being from New Zealand I’m 24 hours ahead of every other country, so of course when it hits 12 o’clock on the 30th here I try to play it and it says the servers are in maintenance mode making it so that the game is completely unplayable on the alleged but as the consumer it’s not my fault that they’re too stupid to think of that which screws over my friends and my family members who want to play this game who already purchased it as well for $100 this is complete BS

DC characters are my favorite, I never really could get into marvel characters. I really wish this wasn't about killing the justice league because I love the justice league characters. Green lantern being my favorite second being Superman. Anyway this game still looks cool and as a DC fan boy I can't wait to play this. Gotham Knights was ok so I hope this is just as good of not better than any other DC game.

You know what ima go into this with an open mind. I find it kinda bratty just cause its not what they did with arkham (which it never was gonna be). They wanna do something different and i say go ahead try. Definatley is a different audience but even as a mp game im hoping its solid. Mp games nowadays are so half baked with a focus on one game mode (mainly a battle royal plug in or launch) and have boring gameplay loops.
