Christine Murphy ~ Good afternoon! Omg they haven't gotten over there yet?! If you LOVE makeup, you are going to feel like a kid in a candy store! To become Rouge you have to spend $1,000. Now as far as in the U.K. I have no idea if it'll be the same converted into Pounds. Hopefully that'll be the case and not charge more since everything is more expensive in England! If you have that kind of budget it's really worth it. The perks are great! I compared Sephora to Ultra and you get much more at Sephora. They say once you spend $1,000 that you're a Rouge for a year, but I became Rouge this past July and it won't expire until December 2017! I hope I was helpful. I could talk about Sephora 24/7! It makes my husband crazy! LOL Cheers!

Hi Angie! You always have great recommendations. I use so many products you have recommended that have become favourites. I also want to mention that I contacted Beauyblender, and they said that the only difference between sponges is the color. Whether you choose pink, tan, black or white, they will all perform the same. You can use it however you wish. All can be used for foundation. : )

I think you will love the smash box foundation. I do. Don't know about 15 hours. Never wore it that long. But I'm 50 years old with combo dry skin. I see it working for slightly oilier completion. Looking forward to that review.

Angie, I'm so happy that you're getting the Laura Mercier palette! I got it years ago on it's original release. I'm your age and have about 25 eye shadow palettes, but the LM is one of my very favorites. I gravitate towards warm tones, but this cooler toned palette is so gorgeous and will work for anyone. Please do a review when you can!

I'm with you on getting the replacement products I like and will use. I'm also adding in some fragrance and new lip products. Most of mine is high end skin care I've come to love, Drunk Elephant and Ren. What I love most about the Sephora sale vs the Ulta sale is that you can shop multiple times in 4 days. Oh and I did buy the Cookies and Cream body cream for my daughter and I in strawberry, it is very nice...and kind of fun :).

Hi Angie, I'm with you on the Viseart palette ... it did not work for me either :( I find it hard to use. I have the LM artist palette and I love it! I think you will enjoy it. I'm really into K beauty and one product I can recommend for you is May Coop Raw Souse ... it's an essence. I put it on as the first step of my morning skin care routine. It keeps my skin very hydrated all day long. I love it. It's an absolute staple in my skin care routine. While the full size is pricey, Sephora carries a travel size for about $14 (I think) which is big enough to use for a few weeks.
After watching this video, I happened to be in my local Nordstrom Rack, where I found some Urban Decay Lipsticks - they had Sheer Liar, Sheer Shame and Sheer Ladyflower (?). They were $9.97 each! I picked up Sheer Liar and it's great :) Thanks for the recommendation!
Angie, with the number of cosmetics you own I'd love to hear (or see) how you store them. This is an ongoing problem for me. I know I need a whole new thought process to categorize them. My Husband has drawn an imaginary line on our bathroom counter top to indicate where he HOPES I won't migrate over with my stash.
It helps to be a vlogger since I have a whole separate room where I film and keep all my makeup. I don't know what I'd do if I had to keep it all in the bathroom in a shared space!! I recently bought a small cart on wheels from Home Goods that's about 11" x 14" x 3' tall. It has 10 slim drawers and I store most of my makeup in there... 1 drawer for each category (primer, foundation, eyeshadow, lipstick etc). It doesn't take up much space and everything is organized!!!
May I make a recommendation? I purchased the Pier 1 (Hayworth collection) lingerie chest. This is a 7-drawer chest and holds all my makeup perfectly. Any small chest of drawers will do -- more narrow that wide to save space.. If you can make a corner of your bedroom your beauty corner, you'll be so much more organized.
The last thing I want you to think of me that I'm nag. 😬. But I'm wondering when you think you'll be able to do your updated skin care routine??? A couple months ago you recommended a couple of new products (which I bought) but am not sure in which order to use them. Thanks so much Angie.
Actually believe it or not Angie I thought that too about my beauty blender so I cut it in half and their was absolutely nothing on the inside you could tell that it was older and I used it a lot but as far as product or mold it was actually clean I did cut it again to further investigate but it was actually clean. I have the Laura Mercier eye palette and like it. I was underwhelmed by the Smash Box palette, though. I'm not sure if it's available at Sephora, but It Cosmetics has an eye palette called the Naturally Pretty matte palette, and I've really been enjoying it.
Lisa S I just recently got this palette along with the smallish one and a brush and I absolutely love love it, it really is so nice and easy for everyday. I think Angie might have it already. I really feel like it is a great palette for mature lids.
Lisa S I have bought both IT cosmetics Matte pallets. One like yours and the other large one they have. They have got to be the best matte pigmentive eyeshadows I have, they are so smooth and not powdery. I highly recommend them. Take Care and GOD BLESS YOU 😇😇
Asian sunscreens are soooo much more elegant than western ones. Obviously there's variation there too but Nivea Sun Protect Water Gel SPF50 PA+++ is the most elegant one I've come across so far. No white cast whatsoever and would probably work great as a primer. Drawback are that it feels a little sticky if you apply liberally (I apply like 3 pumps because I wanna be sure I get adequate protection) and that it contains alcohol. Give it a try if you're interested in K-beauty.
My favorite sunscreen (for several years now) is La Roche Posay Anthelios 50 Mineral Ultra Light Sunscreen in the tinted version. It sinks right in and due to the tint does not leave a white cast on your face. LRP also makes an anti-aging primer that is SPF 50 but it is silicone bases so if you don't like silicone primers it won't be something you like. I have to try some K-beauty sunscreens out. I LOVE all of the masks!!!

Hi Angie, you have maybe done your shopping at Sephora already, but I would like to tell you that I do have the Smashbox palette that you mentioned and it is my most favourite palette to date. The cool colors are beautiful and I even love the warm colors even though I am more of a cooler color girl :). Thank you for doing this video, great ideas :).

Costco sells the beauty blenders for $15. That's the only reason I have one now. I do think it's slightly better than the Real Techniques, which I've loved for years. The end result is still the same though.
I am the same way with the sale. I mostly get things I already know I love. I always get a beauty blender or two. I get my setting spray, my eyeshadow primer, and I stock up on skincare. The only thing I ordered that is totally new to me is the modern renaissance palette which I was planning to get anyway but had been out of stock forever.
TheLauren1113 Purchased this a couple of months ago was really a different palette for me to try and I can't believe it! It is so pretty and much easier to use than I ever thought. Probably the nicest palette I have ever owned. Good luck with getting yours.

Angie have you every tried the Timeless Beauty Hydrating Eye Cream with Hyaluronic Acid? I am looking for a good eye cream and wanted your opinion. I use the Clinique All about Eyes and love that one but it's fairly light. Thanks!
Thanks Wendy! I use all my face products on my neck except for Retin-A which my neck just can't adjust to. I don't use a "neck cream" but I do swap in the CeraVe Renewing Cream Retinol Serum for the Retin-A and also use Timeless Matrixyl Synthe 6 serum.

I've tried that primer (the 360) and it does absolutely nothing on me. Doesn't smooth, doesn't make the eyeshadow last either. I now just use the same primer as I use for my face, then an all over beige (skin color) shadow before I do my eyes. Works well for me.

I'm familiar with the Tatcha line. I've used the rice enzyme powder, their dewy skin mist, camellia beauty oil, soothing silk body butter, and soothing silk hand cream. I like the rice enzyme powder, but for the price, I prefer Boscia's Tsubaki Oil-Infused Exfoliating Powder, which is also less expensive.The Camellia Beauty Oil is lovely, with the gold flakes, suspended in it, but for oils, I get a much nicer glow from Josie Maran's Argan Oil. Josie Maran's Argan Milk, has the nicest finish, but the Argan Oil Light is more economical, and leaves the same glow. I live in a very arid climate, and Josie Maran products work great here. Not sure I would wear them on the East Coast where there is more humidity. Tatcha's body butter has a blue color that I dislike, as it gives my skin a blue/cool cast.
I'm interested to see what you think of the Belif aqua bomb moisturizer. I had the trial size and really liked it and in fact will be picking up the full size next week but some reviews said it made them break out. Fair warning.
Diana Dupre' I Love the belif moisturizer but I get the cream version and they have a holiday set it just picked up that comes with a couple small products from the line for the same price as a full size.
Def get the LM Artist palette I have it & love it which reminds me I need to use more lol Btw, what eye cream would you recommend for anti aging & fine lines? I tried the Smashbox foundation & it looked so bad that I had to wash it off. Have fun shopping 😉💸💸💸
Thanks for the input on the LM palette! I don't use a separate eye cream, I just put all my face serums & lotions (except Retin-A, Vitamin C, AHA) on my eyelids & undereyes. I did just receive a new eye cream from Timeless Skincare. I love their other products so you might give the eye cream a try...

I am going to try out some of your favorites like the Tarte clean slate eyeshadow primer and I'm looking for some good waterproof eye liners and will try the sephora brand as well. I had a goiter/nodule removed from my thyroid this year and I just wanted to know if you have had a look at your right side of your neck. I've noticed it in the last few months of your videos. Hi Angie, Luv watching u to learn info that I have no idea about. I am 53 yrs old on a very tight budget & need to start a Day & Night skincare routine for Anti-Aging. What would you suggest as the most important products to start off with. I will build more things in each month but I am confused on how to start. I am fair skin, little to no acne, hooded&droopy eyes, with deep crows feet. Thank you for any help.
I'd suggest starting with a retinol cream like CeraVe Renewing Cream Serum or Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair. Then top it with CeraVe AM Facial Lotion with SPF 30 and you'll be off to a good start!

I'm with you on getting the replacement products I like and will use. I'm also adding in some fragrance and new lip products. Most of mine is high end skin care I've come to love, Drunk Elephant and Ren. What I love most about the Sephora sale vs the Ulta sale is that you can shop multiple times in 4 days. Oh and I did buy the Cookies and Cream body cream for my daughter and I in strawberry, it is very nice...and kind of fun :).

Hi Angie, I'm with you on the Viseart palette ... it did not work for me either :( I find it hard to use. I have the LM artist palette and I love it! I think you will enjoy it. I'm really into K beauty and one product I can recommend for you is May Coop Raw Souse ... it's an essence. I put it on as the first step of my morning skin care routine. It keeps my skin very hydrated all day long. I love it. It's an absolute staple in my skin care routine. While the full size is pricey, Sephora carries a travel size for about $14 (I think) which is big enough to use for a few weeks.
After watching this video, I happened to be in my local Nordstrom Rack, where I found some Urban Decay Lipsticks - they had Sheer Liar, Sheer Shame and Sheer Ladyflower (?). They were $9.97 each! I picked up Sheer Liar and it's great :) Thanks for the recommendation!
Angie, with the number of cosmetics you own I'd love to hear (or see) how you store them. This is an ongoing problem for me. I know I need a whole new thought process to categorize them. My Husband has drawn an imaginary line on our bathroom counter top to indicate where he HOPES I won't migrate over with my stash.
It helps to be a vlogger since I have a whole separate room where I film and keep all my makeup. I don't know what I'd do if I had to keep it all in the bathroom in a shared space!! I recently bought a small cart on wheels from Home Goods that's about 11" x 14" x 3' tall. It has 10 slim drawers and I store most of my makeup in there... 1 drawer for each category (primer, foundation, eyeshadow, lipstick etc). It doesn't take up much space and everything is organized!!!
May I make a recommendation? I purchased the Pier 1 (Hayworth collection) lingerie chest. This is a 7-drawer chest and holds all my makeup perfectly. Any small chest of drawers will do -- more narrow that wide to save space.. If you can make a corner of your bedroom your beauty corner, you'll be so much more organized.

Actually believe it or not Angie I thought that too about my beauty blender so I cut it in half and their was absolutely nothing on the inside you could tell that it was older and I used it a lot but as far as product or mold it was actually clean I did cut it again to further investigate but it was actually clean. I have the Laura Mercier eye palette and like it. I was underwhelmed by the Smash Box palette, though. I'm not sure if it's available at Sephora, but It Cosmetics has an eye palette called the Naturally Pretty matte palette, and I've really been enjoying it.
Lisa S I just recently got this palette along with the smallish one and a brush and I absolutely love love it, it really is so nice and easy for everyday. I think Angie might have it already. I really feel like it is a great palette for mature lids.

Asian sunscreens are soooo much more elegant than western ones. Obviously there's variation there too but Nivea Sun Protect Water Gel SPF50 PA+++ is the most elegant one I've come across so far. No white cast whatsoever and would probably work great as a primer. Drawback are that it feels a little sticky if you apply liberally (I apply like 3 pumps because I wanna be sure I get adequate protection) and that it contains alcohol. Give it a try if you're interested in K-beauty.
My favorite sunscreen (for several years now) is La Roche Posay Anthelios 50 Mineral Ultra Light Sunscreen in the tinted version. It sinks right in and due to the tint does not leave a white cast on your face. LRP also makes an anti-aging primer that is SPF 50 but it is silicone bases so if you don't like silicone primers it won't be something you like. I have to try some K-beauty sunscreens out. I LOVE all of the masks!!!

Costco sells the beauty blenders for $15. That's the only reason I have one now. I do think it's slightly better than the Real Techniques, which I've loved for years. The end result is still the same though.
I am the same way with the sale. I mostly get things I already know I love. I always get a beauty blender or two. I get my setting spray, my eyeshadow primer, and I stock up on skincare. The only thing I ordered that is totally new to me is the modern renaissance palette which I was planning to get anyway but had been out of stock forever.

Thanks Wendy! I use all my face products on my neck except for Retin-A which my neck just can't adjust to. I don't use a "neck cream" but I do swap in the CeraVe Renewing Cream Retinol Serum for the Retin-A and also use Timeless Matrixyl Synthe 6 serum.

Bummer, Beautipedia only give that eye primer one star but the Tarte maracuja primer 5 stars?
I've tried that primer (the 360) and it does absolutely nothing on me. Doesn't smooth, doesn't make the eyeshadow last either. I now just use the same primer as I use for my face, then an all over beige (skin color) shadow before I do my eyes. Works well for me.
I just put my concealer on my lids which are pinkish and veiny. Than brush shadow over. Stays put.

I'm familiar with the Tatcha line. I've used the rice enzyme powder, their dewy skin mist, camellia beauty oil, soothing silk body butter, and soothing silk hand cream. I like the rice enzyme powder, but for the price, I prefer Boscia's Tsubaki Oil-Infused Exfoliating Powder, which is also less expensive.The Camellia Beauty Oil is lovely, with the gold flakes, suspended in it, but for oils, I get a much nicer glow from Josie Maran's Argan Oil. Josie Maran's Argan Milk, has the nicest finish, but the Argan Oil Light is more economical, and leaves the same glow. I live in a very arid climate, and Josie Maran products work great here. Not sure I would wear them on the East Coast where there is more humidity. Tatcha's body butter has a blue color that I dislike, as it gives my skin a blue/cool cast.
I'm interested to see what you think of the Belif aqua bomb moisturizer. I had the trial size and really liked it and in fact will be picking up the full size next week but some reviews said it made them break out. Fair warning.

Thanks for the input on the LM palette! I don't use a separate eye cream, I just put all my face serums & lotions (except Retin-A, Vitamin C, AHA) on my eyelids & undereyes. I did just receive a new eye cream from Timeless Skincare. I love their other products so you might give the eye cream a try...

What would you suggest as the most important products to start off with. I will build more things in each month but I am confused on how to start. I'd suggest starting with a retinol cream like CeraVe Renewing Cream Serum or Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair. Then top it with CeraVe AM Facial Lotion with SPF 30 and you'll be off to a good start!
