Cool idea! Seems like lots of strongmen are welder/fabricators which is where a lot of these unique instruments come from. Definitely a good skill to pickup yourself if you compete in strongman, because this would cost almost nothing to make yourself. Love your reviews, especially all the focus on small American made companies recently. Keep it up!
While I am definitely not one to baby my equipment, it might be a bit worrisome tightening down a nut onto the bare sleeve. If he could maybe put a felt liner or something on the bottom of the nut? Idk but these look like they would be so much fun to use.
The marring could easily have been addressed via a screw to clamp mechanism (similar to screw down collars). It would likely make manufacturing more cost prohibitive as it seems these are just COTS tubing welded together
Great Review! I am considering to purchase these. They seem to have 10ft and 13ft version. Do you think you would purchase 13ft version in the future based on how 10ft version suit you? Also, did you weld the rod to the bolt for that t-handle style bolt? Greatly appreciate your video and feedback.
I’d probably get the 10s still but that is based on my platform size. My gym is only so big. If I had a larger gym I’d go 13. The rod on the bolt was welded by Mike Bartos at MB Power Center. I’m pretty sure Doug at Madewell Strength Equipmsnt did the same
Do you see value in an attachment like this?
Hard pass. Almost no value to me.
It’s definitely a specialty piece. Thanks for watching

Thank you!
Really cool attachment. I think this will help out a lot of home gym strongmen.
Agreed. Thanks for watching. You’re the #1 loyal viewer
@@TheKurtlocker I enjoy the channel and content. What got me hooked was when you made your log.
You should see this larger 4th one I’m making now
@@TheKurtlocker are you going to make a vid on it?
@@scooobyj8714 Probably not a build video but I may do an overview video
I have no need for that, but it is always cool to see ingenuity in strength equipment.
Agreed. I love seeing innovations like this.
Yep
Thanks for watching!

They’re a blast and it barely leaves a mark. I understand some people’s apprehension though.

Engiineering could be applied in a lot of ways but I think this one is a simple/engineered design
smart idea!
It really is. Thanks for watching

The more you know...not for me but cool to see
Absolutely. Thanks for checking it out
If you compete in strongman, yes.
Fair enough
Seems like a useless product. Madewell is not a quality product
Care to elaborate?
Sounds ignorant
