so that first mod has been out for a while now, not a month, it may have been new update to the mod, before it was done by using vanilla spliced lines and it woks probably better than this version when it comes to the rough sounding voices, before the mod author tried to use VAsynth mod and that mod is straight up text to speech no AI was used, that was a lot more rough though, but it wasn't used quite as much as the spliced words.

I think a better way to do this mod would be to have the watelander go to the vault and find Nora alive who you then help track down her son and the institute. She would be a cool companion and the main story would be you helping a friend.
Yeah, and it would be easy to keep Nora's dialogues mostly unchanged. Have you tried the mod that allows you to find Nora/Nate alive after you leave the vault and you both set out to find your kidnapped son.?

The part where you go to Kellogg's house should be redone. Having Dogmeat sniff Kellogg was a cheap way to lead you to Ft Hagen. It would have been a lot more satisfying for Nick to search his house for actual clues to where he is. You find a piece of tech and Nick suggests that Abbott supplied the raw components to build it so you go and talk to him. If you've done the Painting The Town quest he'll tell you automatically or you can beg, bribe or threaten him into telling you. He'll send you to the DC Science Center and you talk to Professor Scara and Dr Duff and they talk you into doing the giant fly quest or you pressure them into telling you what they know about Kellogg. They tell you that they built the tech for him and they mentioned that he paid them with a box high grade pre-war military stimpaks. If your intelligence or perception is high enough you ask them about the container they were packed in. One of them mention the box that they were using for storage and you inspect it. It's a supply of stimpaks addressed to Ft Hagen. You say it's your best clue of how to find Kellogg. Nick says it's your only clue This is a far better way to use Nick's detective skills. And how would Dogmeat know to show up at Kellogg's house? A dog can only track a scent for a few hours and not weeks. I've never liked that part of the game.
I agree. That quest always seemed like a cheap and fast way to get to Kellogg without an actual reasoning behind it. And then the memory thing seemed pointless aside from finding out the coursers teleport into the Institute. Would've been fun if Kellogg became a companion too. Yes he kidnapped your son but in my eyes he was more-so following directions, not something that's actually personal. And maybe he can help you turn on the Institute. You already have some relation to him anyways. He had a daughter that he lost, and you had a son you lost. Also think they should've made Nora struggle a lot more. She had Shaun a week before he got kidnapped/the bombs fell. She should not be this automatic "badass" just as she exits the vault. Nate is somewhat explainable since he was a pre-war soldier. There's just so much post-childbirth issues Nora should be struggling with that seem to be overlooked completely in the story. (Postpartum/milk production/etc) I did see a mod in F3 that adds an infant you have to care for... would've been cool to see that type of stuff for Nora since her mother instincts would've made her care for it. And the start with meeting the Deathclaw for the first time seemed too overpowered of the SS. Would've loved if they made the whole situation in the Museum of Witchcraft a part of freeing Preston and his crew from the raiders in Concord. (Edit: Like finding the power armor or fusion core in the museum...) Am I looking too far into it? Probably, but there's just so many things that F4 could've done better, but didn't.
@@cjcrimson67 I didn't mind fighting the deathclaw in Concord. It's a real test of your abilities. I plant a bottle cap mine in the street in front of the museum that I get at Wayne Gorski's cabin or use a C-4 explosive from a really cool mod and get between a car and a building to keep the deathclaw from getting at me. Preston could have had you rescue a group of minutemen from Gunners or from the market in Lexington who'll show up at the Castle to try to help you retake it. I don't mind things like the fusion core, it's lazy writing that I can't stand. In Skyrim Serana wants you to take her to Volkihar castle just after telling you she's a vampire? What kind of idiot doesn't realize they'd become vamp chow? And explaining to Isran what happened is just as stupid. What they should have done is immediately after you leave Dimhollow cave you get paralyzed by one of Harkon's henchmen and transported to Volkihar and speak to Harkon. If you become a vampire the quest goes on as normal, if you refuse he tells you that from now on you're vamp chow in the dungeon. He teleports you there and then you awaken and realize there's a note in your pocket. It tells you how to find a key to the cell you're in and how to escape Volkihar. You fight your way out of the castle and make your way back to Isran. Later on you get a courier who gives you a note that tells you to meet someone (Serana) at the Bee & Barb in Riften. This is a far better explanation of why you came back with nothing to show for your trip to Dimhollow. You meet Serana and together you sweet-talk Isran into letting her join the Dawnguard. The regular questline is really dumb.🤨😣
@@TheoRae8289 Shaun definitely looks less than a few months/a month old. He looks like a week-2 week old newborn. That could be true story wise but model wise he looks like Nora had him at most 2-3 weeks ago.

@@yoshipeamachinespawn3658 yeah kind of. you enter vault 111 and find Nate/Nora and release them, or maybe they are released themselves due to Shaun. you can help them bury their dead spouse, or save them if you have a required skill. then the 2/3 of you can look for Shaun together going through the main quest with both sole survivors having dialogue for every conversation and depending on your action they might side against you with an enemy faction which would be really neat i think

After some probing and found out probably why you couldn't find the link. if you do manage to find the link elsewhere you do get this on nexus mods. which does suck cause it looked pretty good as well. "Hidden mod This mod has been set to hidden Hidden at 02 May 2024, 8:21AM by Jonx0r for the following reason: The mod has (possible) permission issues that the author is working to address."
From what I heard it was removed beceause it used AI...yeah it's stupid Some people said that it was removed beceause it could ount as copyright infringement. Or probably my guess, it was removed from the "it's bad beceause it's made wit AI" bias towards anything done with AI. Wouldn't suprise me if the mod author got messages from people or possibly people in Nexus like "You should have paid for a voice actor or asked if anyone wanted to do it for free" type of conversation If the author doesn't profit from AI work I don't see how there should be a copyright problem.
It didnt fix main issue tho, lack of roleplaying is the issue. Aka lack of side quests, skills, traits, choices. This is basically same aah F4 story but from wastelander pov
Thanks for covering The Experiment and The Attachment Pack! I spent way too long on both of those, glad I can get a little bit of recognition from all that work. Shame you didnt showcase my voice actor's excellent talents and amazing performances but did showcase those janky AI voices tho...
Haven't tried The Experiment (I'm on No-Box) but The Attachment Pack is a godsend! It no just gives makes vanilla weapons more versatile, but it motivated me to try out guns I hardly used (radium rifle). It also saves a lot of much needed space in the console mod limit! Thank you!

P.S. for the people that bring up the really valid point that voice actors don't like their voices used in AI models, what do we think the likelihood is that an AI overhaul mod uses a "donated" voice? Fallout 4 with its voiced protagonist makes adding new content featuring the protagonist difficult when it comes to needing new voicelines, but if an AI model was trained instead on a volunteer or even the person making the mod, would that get around the ethical issues? Replace the voice with one who does give their consent but doesn't feel comfortable, etc. voicing every single voiceline themselves? Forgive my ignorance if this is more trouble than it's worth, I'm just legitimately curious if this is a possible workaround.
@@Pigness7 that would be my go to in general personally, to be honest. I'm just thinking, if you're going to still have the protagonist be voiced, how to go about making things consistent.
Yeah I said this last year before when the first mod that added new voice lines to the male and female sole survivor, that whoever is making these mods should hire someone who's willing to have their voices cloned with A.I and probably sound close enough to the actual voice actor. Nick Valentine has a different VA in Far Harbor, since he voiced DIMA and it doesn't really take you away from the immersion. Just do the same with these mods.
@@_MaZTeR_ "Just hire a VA" Bro, modding is hobby that either doesn't pay at all or barely pays. Plus, you literally can't monetize mods, because that makes you liable for lawsuits, you can at best accept donations.
Fallout 1 - Find Replacement equipment that failed for your vault Fallout 2 - Find a Geck for terraforming Fallout 3 - Find Your Father, Plot Twist Fallout NV - Revenge Plot line Fallout 4- Find Your Son, Plot Twist Fallout TV show - Find your Father, Plot twist Honestly Bethesda's Plotlines are tired tropes that are rehashed with the same linear Narrative approach, Fallout 5+ will be Find your Mother/Sister/Brother there will always be some similar plot twist, Please Fire Howard and the writers, its lazy AF after the first time. If you Notice BlackIsle/Interplay/Obsidian the original creators Have actual different plotlines not always tied to find your "***" because the writers have no imagination. Fallout 5 should be just a case of you were in a Cryopod in the Vault and scavangers accidentally awoke you, now you have to learn about the region and its plights, explore, and build a settlement aka main base, defend said base. Keep it short and simple and instead of starting the main quest at the start of the story start it halfway through the game with a urgent story to push you into locations you could not access earlier, because its later in the game you can have factions to choose from and ascend ladders within and establish your character within the environment before being introduced to any Main Story Elements that need to be addressed and tailor that experience to who you become through variations rather than what you were forced to become by some arbitrary story.
Start me up hasn’t worked for me in like 4 years. No matter what I pick, even with no other mods and a fresh install, it just gives an infinite loading screen lol.
Maybe you already figured that out by now but: That's normal when you have some mods running. I managed to run it with 150+ mods installed by just waiting in the bathroom 5-10 minutes more after character creation. Just stand still for 10 minutes and it'll work. You have to give it time because a lot of scripts are loading in the background as soon as you're done with character creation. So again: create your character, confirm and don't move for at least 5 minutes. Then proceed. If it crashes again, give it more time. The more mods I got running the longer I have to wait.
While I absolutely adore the modding community for all that they've done, I really wish there was more care put into maintaining the setting of Boston. Most of that can be chalked up to Bethesda, obviously, but I wish we at the very least had Boston accents, or references to its culture.
So...I am a wastelander who wandered into a vault searching for loot. There, I learned about the kidnapping of some kid. Being a wastelander, would I really care about this specific kid? The game is full of people who had terrible things happen to them. If you want to give me freedom to play as anyone I would like, then also give me the opportunity to finish the game WITHOUT searching for Shaun.
The negative of using AI voicework aside... I feel like that first overhaul in general sounds really interesting, especially since it redoes a lot of the other characters' dialogue as well. Being a random wastelander that's started going down the rabbit hole of the kidnapping seems more conducive to a BGS open world game where sometimes you just want to go off in a random direction and not worry about the main quest for a bit. It really makes me wish that BGS games would embrace the idea of actually having different starting scenarios in their games that after anywhere from 2 to 30 minutes all tie back into the main game, as opposed to one singular origin point. I know part of it is to make the "forced tutorial" aspect as short as possible, but it also would help both with head canons for roleplaying a character and for modders to create other starting scenarios, which they've shown they are going to do anyway.
@@williamings773 Those are two completely different artforms. that's like saying "well we have movies now so why do you make sculptures?" like ?????????
It looks like they put some time in to it and did a decent job, but this mod isn't going to last - its what the biggest sticking point of the actor's strike last year was all about: having AI recreate the actors' voices or likeness... as soon as The Screen Actor's Guild gets wind of this mod you can expect their lawyers will be quickly drafting up some legal letters.
Well, if they ain't gonna work, then somebody else will have to do it for them. Especially since it's the corpos who do it to them, not literal nobodies who don't have the means to get professional voice acting.
I love the idea of a non-Sole Survivor protag, but it'd need a new voice actor for Nora as a minimum. Courtenay Taylor (Noras VA) has explicitly said that she doesn't give permission to her voice to be manipulated or recreated in AI whatsoever, and has worked with Nexus to remove mods doing so in the past. This sort of mod would either need new voice actors, or go back to the days of the silent protagonist. Personally I'd rather see them cast new VAs to keep it as immersive as possible, I prefer being able to hear the dialogue rather than just reading it off the screen like it's a silent movie.
Not necessarily, they just need an AI voice, and then use that model to make all the lines in the game. Can this work, idk. If this isn't enough because the lines have the personality of the VA, then they could just take the text in other languages, translate that to English and use that as the script. Many words changes when you switch language in Fallout 4, so maybe this works.
@@lorenzmaut3708 okay yeah that would also work, but an AI can't really put any real emotion into it, it can't emphasise certain words. So whilst it would technically work, in my opinion it would be even lower quality than just having a silent protag
I kind of hope we eventually get an addon for RPG Overhaul that allows Nate (or Nora) to actually still be alive when you enter Vault 111. If they are and you make sure they escape, you can then choose to have them become a follower or alternatively, let them go on their merry way. The former would provide a unique experience as you progress through the game. However if you do the latter, then the mod will randomly choose a path for them to go down (perhaps being influenced by your interactions with them). You may randomly find them dead later on, or they could join the faction you're a part of. Maybe they are already part of a faction, either welcoming you as a new teammate or standing in your way should you oppose them.
1. There's already tons of alternate start mods out there. 2. These AI voices sound terrible. 3. FO4's voice actors have already said they're against their voices being cloned, so you can expect Nexus to take this mod down. 4. Meeting up with Kellogg is more interesting when you're looking for revenge rather than you being a rando.
On your points: 1. There are, but this one has lots of dialog to back it up and not just a few things here and there spliced together 2. Yes, you can tell whats the AI voice and whats not... but its better than nothing (just text on the screen) and better than most of the times mod creators add voices thats just them and their friends recorded in to their phone or something. 3. This is the biggest thing - the voice actors in video games are a part of the Screen Actors Guild and this was the biggest sticking point that drew out the actor's strike last year: not allowing AI to recreate their voices or likenesses without their explicit permission. As soon as they get wind of this mod you can expect their lawyers to start drafting up cease and desist letters with threats of lawsuits.
The only voice actor who sperged out was couternay taylor, and no one plays nora since nate is better and canon. So she is irrelevant, no matter how many times bethesda puts her on Fo4 art on steam
I mean they don't have to use the original voice actors voices, actually I think they shouldn't because they can get better sounding voices by not doing so.
Thats funny, I've actually been thinking of some alternative start quest mods, like one where you start out instead trying to fix Vault 111 and expanding its influence, or one where you were sent in by investors working under the other game's protagonists as a prospector.
It makes less now so old Shaun started this change of events to see what his dad would do . Once he had seen his dad was killed wouldn't he have sent Kellogg back to clear everything up remove the clues they left for Shaun's dad as to not expose themselves
@@LecherousLizardThey're pointing out that Kellogg was only sent to Diamond City & Fort Hagen in order to leave a 'breadcrumb trail' for the Sole Survivor. Since the Sole Survivor dies shortly after getting out of their pod in this mod, it doesn't make sense for Shaun to leave the 'breadcrumb trail' there. Hence, there's a major plothole in this mod's narrative.
@@JHardy19 Thank you for reminding me how abysmal the story of Fallout 4 is. Kinda wild Starfield character animations don't look any better than a game that was released 9 years ago and that they went backwards with a non-voiced protagonist.
@@nighturnal9708 It's a lot easier, less time consuming and cheaper to do a silent protag. Games like Fallout, Skyrim, and Starfield have a lot of dialogue, most of which comes from you making a voiced protag a hassle. Not to mention the fact that dialogue in Fallout 4 is shortened than usual because it's actually being spoken instead of just being text.
… I’m playing starfield right now, and I really can’t agree. It all looks way better, and despite its flaws, it’s a beautiful game. I feel like everyone gives it way too much flack.
@@cherryusa how long have you been playing it? It seems like a decent game at first then you realize it never gets better. It's the definitely the best looking Bethesda game, but compared to other true next-gen titles it looks and plays like a 4k textured from 10 years ago. I hadn't been playing anything recently when Starfield came out and I thought it was a decent game. Then I played Phantom Liberty before finishing Starfield. After I completed an 83 hr Cyberpunk and Phantom Liberty, I decided to finish the last few Starfield missions. Going back to Starfield with fresh gameplay from Cyberpunk on my mind was jarring. I went from thinking in a bit of a gameplay vacuum that Starfield was decent to realizing how undwhelming and outdated it felt. The story, the character animations, the voice acting, the facial animations was all so meh. The constant loading screens and a bunch of mechanics that are completely ignorable and add nothing to the game like base building, weapon, and suit upgrading. There's a lot of mechanics there but now compelling reason to engage in them. Like in Cyberpunk when I find a weapon I like, I want to find stuff so I can upgrade it. Could other weapons do the job fine? Sure, but I like how certain weapons play and my character build suits them. The only time weapons in Starfield felt different was when some were just so bad they were unusable. Once I found a weapon that worked I never really had any reason to charge to another or hunt for all the resources needed to modify it. Same thing with space suits only worse because the suits never really felt like they made any science aside from one that let me carry more inventory. Starfield even with all the loading screens has all the ingredients to make a good game, but they don't mix it together with a compelling hook. It's mid at best. If Bethesda didn't make such a big deal out of their first new IP in decades and do all those Starfield direct streams talking about the game like it was going to be ground breaking and maybe people wouldn't be as hard on it. However, they did, but gave us a 4k textured game that plays like it was released in 2014.
My favorite conversation with this mod is with Codsworth in the beginning. Sadly it doesn't play well with Heather Casdian, but hopefully some nice fella will patch it since that mod was recently updated even.
I'm always having issues with the frame rate due to the size and detail of my builds I hope that it gets sorted out as you are given so many build options but it wrecks your gaming experience
I miss fallout 4. Its just not satisfying anymore. If fallout modders were more industrious theyd be remaking some of the core mods from skyrim that make survival gameplay more....substantial. also- i dont mind the whole family rescue plot- it just sucks that after all you go through to get your son back sort of, and form a new relationship you cant adopt or marry. So yeah needs updated body mods, skins, presets, animations, utilities, frostfall. Campfire, wet n cold, ineed and some food and wildlife mods to make it worth playing again. Maybe even expanded follower dialogue.
I’m not sure where to stand on AI voice usage. I imagine, as long as credit is given and there isn’t financial gain from the mod author based on the voice actors work, it should be fair game. The only stipulation is what dialogue the AI is being used to replicate, I can see voice actors being uncomfortable if their voice was used to say something controversial or to voice adult content.
For me it comes down to what i do for a hobby. 3d Animation, and ive never been to school for that. AI voicelines help since im not rich, i dont own a million dollar studio, and i dont have the means to pay for voice work. Most of these so called "VA"S are hypocrites as well. If they didnt want their voices to be used, THEY WOULDNT post it online. I tried getting touch with UMG and Warner Bros, and Hasbro once to get Permission to use audio for animations. Guess what? NO RESPONSE. So i still made the animation. Now with AI i dont have to waste time and it cuts my work load in HALF.
@@MLPDethDealr32 Hello, I am a mod author who makes extensive use of human voice actors in my quest mods (one showcased in this very video), here is how much I've had to pay for the voice work in the mod showcased here: $0.00 AI voice work is actually MORE expensive and WAY more legaly risky, just open up a casting call and people will flock to volunteer just to put it on their demo reel or just because it's something they're interested in. 11 labs has a subscription, interacting with other human beings is free.
Its still strange like you still know it when you already played it. I still think that only way to fix it is to delete main quest entyrly. I would like something like Frost but without the other changes on top like damage and others. Otherwise Frost do pretty good job on this subject.
The experiment mod…Frankenstein? "General" who says he’s in charge now? Ghouls? Mod man wears his Romero on his sleeves. Might try this out when I get the courage to mod Fallout 4 again soon.
And here I'm thinking what the biggest flaw would be. Sure, the lack of consequences are bad. But what about the crashes. The mouse lag. The bad AA. The crashes. Downtown Boston shadow performance. The crashes. The linked melee and grenade key. But yes, of the 3D Fallouts I find New Vegas to be most convincing. There are many obvious reasons, but the fact that you're just a mailman that was robbed and shot and wants revenge is super realistic. And the different factions never treat you like a hero, just like some person in the wasteland who happens to be in the right place at the right time. Fallout 4 treats the player as super important, but doesn't give them the feeling that any of their actions have impact. Example: Settlement building. We all know Preston and his "another settlement needs your help" stuff. But building, securing, connecting those settlements doesn't change anything. One would expect that a region full of fortified, armed, secured settlements and rebuilt minutemen who patrol would have less random raiders messing around, but instead we only get more tedium.
I'll admit, not 100% sure how I feel about modders using AI voice models for new lines to existing characters, feels a little ick stepping on someone's livelihood as a voice actor... however given these are free mods not paid commercial products I guess it feels a little more alright than not? Although honestly Fallout wise I'm just waiting for Fallo9ut: London to drop.
Unless voice AI mods start showing up in a for profit operation like Creation Club, there’s no legal issue. Ethical is up to you. I feel ick looking at CBBE mods, not voice mods.
"stepping on someone's livelihood as a voice actor"? How? Not only can 90% of modders not afford to hire the original game's VAs, the few that can afford it, can't hire them, because of their contracts with Bethesda. The guy who made the Qui Vagis mod wanted to hire some of Fallout 4's VA's, and make a mod for Fallout 4, but couldn't.
It's complete dogshit, actually. There's some amount of novelty to it initially, but it stops being amusing about 5 minutes in, when the MC has to remind everybody who he is and what his quest is. Like, bro.
That's awesome, I would really like to see more dialogue for Nate and some new interactions. You think the new update coming out soon is going to destroy all the mods, I've got mods running that aren't really actively supported anymore?
I have an issue that my game constantly pauses for about 15-30seconds, then runs fine. Even when im going through my pip-boy! Otherwise its fine, 60+ fps. I dont know why, randomly started doing it a couple days ago.
This is so fucking COOL! So far, it keeps the regular flow of the original dialogue, but tweaked to make you an interested third party rather than the parent!
This is what came to mind when AI voice technology started to get better. The idea that mods could be fully voiced without the mod creator having to spend money to hire or time to find volunteers to voice act. It really does open up quest mods immensely. Well at least until the law catches up with technology and it becomes illegal to sample professional VAs...
Just illegal to sample voices that don't consent to it. There already are actors and public figures who's sold the rights to their likeness to be used by AI. But most of them have enough cash that they don't have to care. Voice actors are starring down the barrel of a gun with this ai stuff, but within a few years I'm sure all of us will be hoping to have legal protections over weather or not folks can steal our faces and voices for whatever they want.
No me quiero ni imaginar la cantidad de conflictos que va a tener esto con los diálogos de otras mods que interactúan con la historia principal y con Kellog...
So... It makes the main questline as stupid and pointless as a lot of the fanbase already saw it as... (Not me, i didn't mind it, but i also didn't totally *_love_* it so, meh🤷♂️) But gives a crapload of other non-related, pretty cool role-playing options? Kind of a hit-and-miss but i can still respect the work put in.
This is fascinating & shows how AI is opening up whole new ways to mod games & to expand on what already exists, fix bugs the devs can't or won't & even add content to increase replayability. Modder's once again doing the heavy lifting in making games even better. A shame most console games will never get to experience the power of mods.

Often choose that one so I can excuse myself for wearing outrageous outfits, since I am a synth, I don't know you human values.
I think a better way to do this mod would be to have the watelander go to the vault and find Nora alive who you then help track down her son and the institute. She would be a cool companion and the main story would be you helping a friend.

If I like you, you can call me Sarge. But guess what?
YOU ARE OUT OF UNIFORM SOLDI-- oh wait, nevermind, you started with power armor in the first five minutes.
Nick says it's your only clue
This is a far better way to use Nick's detective skills.
(Edit: Like finding the power armor or fusion core in the museum...)
Am I looking too far into it?

P.S. for the people that bring up the really valid point that voice actors don't like their voices used in AI models, what do we think the likelihood is that an AI overhaul mod uses a "donated" voice? Fallout 4 with its voiced protagonist makes adding new content featuring the protagonist difficult when it comes to needing new voicelines, but if an AI model was trained instead on a volunteer or even the person making the mod, would that get around the ethical issues? Replace the voice with one who does give their consent but doesn't feel comfortable, etc. voicing every single voiceline themselves? Forgive my ignorance if this is more trouble than it's worth, I'm just legitimately curious if this is a possible workaround.
just use silent protag mods
@@Pigness7 that would be my go to in general personally, to be honest. I'm just thinking, if you're going to still have the protagonist be voiced, how to go about making things consistent.

Yeah I said this last year before when the first mod that added new voice lines to the male and female sole survivor, that whoever is making these mods should hire someone who's willing to have their voices cloned with A.I and probably sound close enough to the actual voice actor.

Fallout 2 - Find a Geck for terraforming
Fallout 3 - Find Your Father, Plot Twist
Fallout NV - Revenge Plot line
Fallout 4- Find Your Son, Plot Twist

Honestly Bethesda's Plotlines are tired tropes that are rehashed with the same linear Narrative approach, Fallout 5+ will be Find your Mother/Sister/Brother there will always be some similar plot twist, Please Fire Howard and the writers, its lazy AF after the first time.
Ai could have a lot of potential for creating stuff like this for most games, crazy how fast it’s developed
What's the negative here? It's not like any job is being replaced because it's all free work anyways

After seeing the title, you REALLY didn't bury the lead, ... Happy to hear the Attachment Pack dropped, too!
Ahw she’s lame.
I’d like a mod that makes ash piles once looted blow away in the wind and despawn, and good piles sink into soil.
Nah nexus can't do squirt.
Agreed.
On your points:
1. There are, but this one has lots of dialog to back it up and not just a few things here and there spliced together

Otherwise Frost do pretty good job on this subject.
I did see a cool mod that lets you run away from the vault and become a ghoul at the begining
The experiment mod…Frankenstein? "General" who says he’s in charge now? Ghouls? Mod man wears his Romero on his sleeves. Might try this out when I get the courage to mod Fallout 4 again soon.
With this alternate start mod, people can finally have their "Gen-4 Synth" fantasy after all.
They fixed the infinite loading screen? How?
Okay, "The Experiment" sounds interesting. A contained story mod with an interesting premise.
3:34 - Catching up with Kellogg, who is not looking a day over 60
5:25 - Father: In reality it was 60 years
Me: 🤣😂😰😱 Will it play on console....
1:48 You're welcome
The dialogue boxes that have [speech 75%] and stuff like that :0 Which mod is that? Been lookin for one for ages!
Maybe its time ti play FO4 again after years
The fact they actually added new dialogue is insane, how did they even get the motion capture for the faces for it💀
The faces are animated, not motion captured
@@rodrigobogado8756 thanks for the heads up ,my brain is the size of walnut
Quite brave, calling Fallout 4's storyline the biggest mistake. It's definitely on the weaker side of FO games, to be fair...
It's complete dogshit, actually. There's some amount of novelty to it initially, but it stops being amusing about 5 minutes in, when the MC has to remind everybody who he is and what his quest is.
Like, bro.
it's just a weaker version of the fallout 3 story, which was also garbage
will all the mods on nexus work after the next-gen-update? becaus, i think this will effect the script-extender, right?
That's awesome, I would really like to see more dialogue for Nate and some new interactions. You think the new update coming out soon is going to destroy all the mods, I've got mods running that aren't really actively supported anymore?
I have an issue that my game constantly pauses for about 15-30seconds, then runs fine. Even when im going through my pip-boy! Otherwise its fine, 60+ fps. I dont know why, randomly started doing it a couple days ago.
...But can you go into Boston without the game crashing?
RIP these new mods if they're releasing next gen version together with the tv show
Biggest problem is the lack of skills and sole focus on perks and attributes
No me quiero ni imaginar la cantidad de conflictos que va a tener esto con los diálogos de otras mods que interactúan con la historia principal y con Kellog...
This listing is more impactful for all builds of this game than one might think
This part had me rolling of laughter! 🤣🤣🤣💀💀💀 7:00
30 fps drops in Corvega Assembly ? Boston huge fps lags ? infinite load screens tight to fps ? and more fun in Fallout 4
So... It makes the main questline as stupid and pointless as a lot of the fanbase already saw it as... (Not me, i didn't mind it, but i also didn't totally *_love_* it so, meh🤷♂️)
But gives a crapload of other non-related, pretty cool role-playing options?
Kind of a hit-and-miss but i can still respect the work put in.
This is fascinating & shows how AI is opening up whole new ways to mod games & to expand on what already exists, fix bugs the devs can't or won't & even add content to increase replayability. Modder's once again doing the heavy lifting in making games even better. A shame most console games will never get to experience the power of mods.
Any news Fallout 4 next gen update?
Is the weapon overhaul mod available for the PS five
No. The PS5 can't have any mods that weren't made with stuff already in the game.
@@holdenroth5929 oh man that sucks that mod looks so cool you know thank you for telling me and what do you mean it was already available on the game
Did the update break this?
the consistency of this community never ceases to amaze me
Are we finally getting AI companions in fallout 4? (Commented before watching video)
Yes I believe so
That opens the door for all kinds of companion mods. I honestly hope for some crossover character companions.
@@brockschannel3927 since discord chatbot AI's can already be made as shapes in a few minutes. And modders from Skyrim have broken trough the AI barriers in every way. I really hope fallout 4 gets the same treatment at least before I’m dead 🥹
Mantella mod is already out
Katy is one I believe
I just wish there was a sim settlements full patch for start me up/alternate diologue
AI is probably the biggest upgrade to modding ever. I am so excited to see what the future holds in terms of quest mods or overhauls.
are they removing the voiced protagonist? (the video hasn’t started yet, ad reel)
I feel like the way to remedy the let’s Admit it shotty ai voice of the player character is to use the silent Protagonist mod
7:30 I really Hope this get ported onto X Box
Wish these mods would have come out 5 years ago. I had 200 mods installed and no longer have them. I've searched for anything that changes the dull original dialog, but 5 years ago there was just nothing.
Hm, I better wait 10 years before I play Starfield.
The only thing that can "put icing on the proverbial cake" is change the appearance of father/shaun. He still looks like you. And thats unimmersive.
As someone still playing the original storyline, I feel there may be a few spoilers here if you use common logic as to how this would play out in that story. Great video though, thanks!
What mod do you use to make the NPCS and you’re own character look better? Faces look a lot better. Cheers
