latibosani I know Allardyce likes to take credit for it, but I think your man here has just made the mistake of looking at when he was appointed and the results that followed.
@@Stoofer. Nah, one of the league losses in Jan/Feb of the 16/17 season: 2-3 vs Swansea, 2-0 at Hull, or 3-1 at Leicester (those sides finished 15th, 18th, and 12th). That Man City game was turned on the red card and then the ref not having the balls to call the penalty and send Otamendi off with his 2nd yellow at 1-0. Probably the 2-0 at relegation fodder Hull...
Sam Allardyce wasn’t even the manager when Everton beat West Ham 4-0 lads, he was watching in the stands and David Unsworth was still the interim manager
Allardyce had nothing to do with that West Ham game. He was announced as manager the morning of that game, sat in the stands and watched. David Unsworth took charge of the team. Allardyce even took credit for this game which made it even worse.
the 4-0 Everton win over West Ham was David Unsworth's last game as caretaker manager. Big Sam watched the game from the stands so he shouldn't get the credit for that game.
Brian's laws has to be one of worst appointments in the clubs history hiring a manager who got sacked from Sheffield Wednesday the previous year was never gonna work
Don't forgot Holloway said he'd never leave Plymouth Argyle for Leicester, claiming the rumours were 'utter nonsense'. He then proceed to leave (Argyle were top half Championship side at the time) and relegate Leicester, losing to Argyle in the run in. Such sweet revenge
James mcarthur is a glasgow legend boys showed what can be done by a scheme boy like myself boy was never the most talented but put the work in and is an inspiration to a boy with myself trying to get a trial with Queen’s Park barrowfield boys
Just a suggestion there was when Sheffield united drew 2-2 in the cup against spurs with Nigel clough in charge yes we didn’t win and yes we didn’t go through but what a brace from che Adams
Stuart Pearce? Yeah, not a great manager and made some terrible decisions, but he wasn't as bad as Alan Ball. With a much worse win rate, our best result was a 1-0 win over Aston Villa at Villa Park, which was his last win in the top flight and also meant we'd done the double over them (beating them 1-0 at Maine Road earlier in the season). But he's not even the worst: That honour would have to fall to John Benson - in charge for just four months, 17 games and just three wins (2 draws and 12 losses) with the best result a 2-0 away win at West Brom (or maybe the 2-0 home win against West Ham, I can't decide which).
Frank De Boer has done himself justice at Atlanta United, yeah the league is crap but he's won 2 trophies already this season and it took time for his style to adjust
A bit harsh to call Van Persie a hateful human being for celebrating against Arsenal, considering the abuse he endured from their fans leading up to that
I know HITC think forever began in 1992 but if it was genuinely best result by the worst manager EVER....Everton's officially worst ever manager was Cliff Britton. Got the team relegated in 1950 and then oversaw the club's lowest ever finish of 16th in the second division in 1953. Although Britton did put the relegation thing right again by winning promotion in 1954. While in Division 2 he oversaw a 2-1 victory over the emerging Busby Babes, Manchester United in the 5th round of the cup and went on to take the Toffees to a sensational semi-final where they were 0-4 down in half an hour to Bolton and then [after missing a penalty] fought back to lose 3-4. Isn't it such a shame that the modern media regard 120 years of Football history not worthy of mention
Bournemouth and Wimbledon, they are both AFCs Arsenal Fan TV, can't escape Europa League Aston Villa, welcome back Grealish needs new boots, that's fact
Terry connor is harsh, he was given an impossible job, Id go for the guy who sent us to league 1, cant remeber his name tho and a 2-1 vs Hull or qpr if i remember right
Starting a petition for the CHAMPIONS LEAGUE PREDICTIONS by the irish guy
YES
I agree
Liverpool wins
broz boy wins 2 games and gets knocked out in the groupd
@@alexwilson5898 this comment aged well.
Sam allardyce wasn’t the manager for the 4-0 win vs West Ham. It was David Unsworths last game
Quite correct.
Gabe Wilson Ik
Was going to say, he claimed it but he wasn’t in charge
Syn Dex he was in the stands tho
Gabe Wilson he also said post game he had no input in team selection or tactics, you could tell because you know we actually attacked
Great Video, But a bit random,
where is the champions league predictions
Arjun Krishnan he made that in a different video with lots of different predictions

One of the 76 dislikes is Terry Connor...
Can't wait for that 300k special with all three HITC presenters on screen wearing scarves.
That Jack Colback analogy has me in tears 😂😂
Remi garde's best result could also be the draw against city in his first or 2nd game
erm big sam was in the stand when everton won against west ham. so his best result was when he wasn't fully in charge yet.
Thought so. I had to double check myself. To be fair that game kickstarted a short run that saved us. It went fully shit again after that.
@@mymindpictures yeah but unsy deserves a bit more credit. it's absurd for big sam to claim this win as his.
latibosani I know Allardyce likes to take credit for it, but I think your man here has just made the mistake of looking at when he was appointed and the results that followed.
Sam alladyce wasn’t in charge of Everton when we beat West Ham 4-0 it was David unsworth
I remember seeing roy hodgson's Liverpool team defeat chelsea 2-0, I was so happy, I actually thought he was going to change the team around
5:01 The cracks Fergie gallantly papered over were exposed full force that season under Moyes.
Do the inverse, best manager (maybe of the pl era, to make it easier for u to pick) worst result
Ferguson- 6-1 vs Man City.
@@TheKiller-fz5mc Arsene- 8-2 v united or 6-0 v chelsea

Well Unsworth was even worse, so I guess Irish Guy's point still stands 😂😂
Technicly David Unsworth oversaw the 4-0 win versus West Ham.
Everton were managed by David unsworth against west ham. Sam was in the stand, so probably had an impact but the game was unsworth's
I think Moyes' Best result would be the 0-5 demolition of Bayer Leverkusen that was our biggest European win since 1964...
Nihar Gawand 7-1 vs Roma😉
About Grant, don't forget that he reached the CL final with Chelsea and was one slip away from winning the thing.
To this day, I'm still thanking God for bringing rain down on that day.
Di Matteo won the thing and isnt rated
Saints fan here: I'd give ours to Steve Wigley, took charge of 14 games, only won one of them but it was against Pompey of all teams!
Idk if CL counts but I think Moyes’ best win was probably the 3-0 comeback win over olympiakos
Allardyce had nothing to do with that West Ham game. He was announced as manager the morning of that game, sat in the stands and watched. David Unsworth took charge of the team. Allardyce even took credit for this game which made it even worse.
11 years we lost away to Blythe Spartans in the fa cup replay on a cold Tuesday night after extra time with 10 men 🤦🏻♂️
That Stuart Pearce era was pure banter for us. My first season ticket at city too that season 😳
David Unsworth was Everton manager when we beat West Ham not Big Sam he came the same day but didn't start till the next day

the 4-0 Everton win over West Ham was David Unsworth's last game as caretaker manager. Big Sam watched the game from the stands so he shouldn't get the credit for that game.
For David Moyes at Man United, I would have said 3-0 Olympiacos in the Champions League 2nd leg. Lost 2-0 away and won 3-0 at home
