Can't understand why you have only 3 likes (now 4) and no comments (until now) coz although brief, this is a really good intro to the over-whelming variety of easels out there! I'm looking for one right now (that's how I came across Art Shed) and you really helped me! I'm looking to replace my trusty old A-frame floor-standing easel. It has served me well for many years but some nuts n bolts are kinda stuck and the main 'ledge' keeps moving which loosens the canvas. It is almost impossible to fold down to a more compact size and in my small room, that is an issue. When not in use I hang things on it such as my aprons, handbag and anything else that will stay put. I also have to pull it out of the way to get to shelves behind it. That's not what I want. I want to be able to put it away, or at least make it more compact. Anyway, I have discovered adjustable easels that tilt so have decided that's what I want. Thing is I'm in UK and judging by your accent Monte Marte may be Australian? Anyway, I'm not sure if this brand will be available to me but I will look into it. If not I will find an alternative. Thank you so much for pointing me in the right direction! Would be good to hear what other artists use and why. It will help others like myself. So come on all you art folks out there - give Art Shed some input and show some love!
