@@juwasanodunayo4036 You just don't get it, do you? This match was both a pre-season friendly and a commercial exhibition. The ref appeared to want to ruin both aspects. Dishing out early soft yellow cards created the potential for some red cards which would be damaging for player fitness and tactical preparation, as well as ruining the spectacle of an exhibition. That soft penalty in the first few minutes changed everything and effectively resulted in both teams playing a different game which harmed their tactical preparation. Luckily, nobody picked up a second yellow. Nobody with any sense was giving that penalty after a couple of minutes.

Perhaps there’s a player in there, perhaps not, but he won’t come good for us in the first team. Against the best striker in the world, any mistake at all and we see what happened. Further up the pitch, but not as far up as we saw in the first 2 games.
You're one of my favorite people to listen to on Chelsea content, but the one thing I don't like is after every Chelsea loss you always seem to talk about needing new players and new signings. It can't possibly be the answer every time. Also, spent most of the video talking about how bad the defense has been. So if we're talking about new signings, based on what I've seen in preseason, I'm thinking it's got to be a stellar star-studded center-back rather than a striker right? Jackson hasn't even come into this system yet. If Guiu looks good in this system, then Jackson's going to absolutely cook. I really just feel like we're seeing growing pains from a new system, but if we're going to talk about signings, in order of importance and impact to me, it goes winger, CB, and then maybe striker.
If we don't have a plan B, we are screwed. Players not up to speed with it yet. Tactics won't change and we couple of weeks away from new season. Slow start and pressure builds
Mudryk has no future at Chelsea, can't dribble, can't shoot, can't track back, can't cross, can't head 🤦♂️The only thing he has is speed but his first touch is like Lakaka 😶 Pochetino did say that he can't understand tactics, I thought he was takin the p*ss but every time he plays, he proves Pochetino right 😅💀

A Chelsea fan since 1974 I have seen many teams through poor to average to great seasons. Our team now is not the worst, but missing serious quality, there's no plan, no confidence. There's no way we can be a winning team this season ,defense non existent midfield lack luster strikers clueless
I feel mudryk is getting unfair criticism, he has never played rw so he was never going to perform there and I feel like he hasn’t even been given a proper chance to play at least 60+ minutes. I also feel that our defense with fofana and colwill is at its best so I am not taking too much from this loss to city because there were a lot of problems with the line up. Lastly Enzo is meant to be played at no 6 along with the inverting full back, like a pirlo , we are not getting the most of him because we keep playing him out of position, maresca can’t keep claiming he’s watching games off Enzo when he doesn’t play him in his best position
The defence was not that bad. You are being too harsh on the defence. Playing out of the back was the problem, and if you watched the game, we had really good chances to score
Sign Mats Hummels, keep Chalobah. Defense fixed. We've got too many error prone defenders to be getting rid of our only defender with any recent record of consistency. And Hummels is the marshall we need. Also, Brighton's linked with him. Meaning we'd probably be hijacking Hummels soon.
Let be sincere no mattwr how many player you want to blame that starting line up dont show you want to win a game of football but i think its a mind game
Must go buy a decent CB this window. Also time to put in Jorgensen or Petrovic back in. Sanchez is shocking. I'd try to hijack Deligt deal. I'm really really not sure about enzo Muresca. It's early but I don't think this is going to work out.
I hate it when a manager feels this is my method and you guys have got to get used to it. C'mon, you need to be flexible and make adjustments when needed . If this isn't working, switch immediately depending on the team u are up against
I know that we are in preseason, but what pisses me off is that Chelsea fc ruiners (the board) believes the defenders we have now are great defenders and they resorted to forcing one of our reliable defender (Chalobah) out of chelsea FC. Chalobah is better than most of the defender that we have if not all. Why are they selling him? Are they not seeing the hand writing on the wall. We have the opportunity to sign Victor Osihmen, why are they not going all out to get him? It is really frustrating!
Always the same story, its only pre season, but we are always being hammered. Man city B team just ran circles around us. We are no further forward now than we were this time last year under Poch!1 Sanchez is a liability
most people they don't even watch football they watch the ball, blaming Sanchez every game is just something wrong. Happy birthday George🎉
I saw the lineup and knew we would struggle
One thing I learnt is levi colwill isn't good enough
Cowill is overrated. He is a poor defender. Very weak on 1 v 1
Hahahaha imagine coming to these conclusions after a couple of preseason matches. Oh dear
Agree
How do you single out one player where the whole team was defensively shambolic?
@@Footyhighlight23 it's because of the hype on him
The weaknesses will be addressed when Cucu, Jackson and Palmer return. Gusto can push James. The GK is a concern.
EXACTLY 12:41 !! ENZO AINT READY AND HASNT BEEN READY FOR CHELSEA!
Charlotte recs: King's Kitchen or Tupelo Honey (souther fare), 7th St. Market, Dandelion or Connolly's (pint), NASCAR Hall of Fame (no one will be there but it is worth checking out) or White Water Center for tourist activities.
the thing that i noticed was we got a goal shortly after Madueke came on,
Happy 20th birthday, handsome 🎂 🎂 🎉
Meresca major issue in first half was not playing with a real No10
Wow your birthday on the 6th mines on the 11th of this month hopefully Chelsea can give us a win that’s all I want for my birthday
I mean sturbo isn't old , he's still good. thing is its been common for him to start amazing, Then drops the performance throughout the season and mudryk isn't good enough right now to start for us, so when were rotating sterling and mudryk mid season , that left side becomes awful
I dont think oshimen is the move anymore , we have nkunku , Jackson , guii and palmer to chose from , we don't want another problem with an overloaded squad again
Reece James doesn't fit in this system... he is not comfortable
It sounded like you were saying that your front 6 would not include Palmer. You probably need to explain that (to avoid the ridicule).
Two things I learned: Enzo and Caicedo look off the pace. Enzo was Very slow and sluggish....
same problems weve had for years, individual errors at the back, not clinical finishing. i would like to see badiashile and disasi to leave and another prem proven cb join
Marseca does need to move the entire team further up the pitch during buildup. bring sanchez/jorgensen furhter up the pitch and out of their box. 3 of 4 goals yesterday were in part because the entire team was sat so far back during builup - we were in our own box. Against the best striker in the world, any mistake at all and we see what happened. Further up the pitch, but not as far up as we saw in the first 2 games.
Yo! Same day with my older sister 🎉 cheers! 😂
George have faith in Nico, and Giui
If we don't have a plan B, we are screwed. Players not up to speed with it yet. Tactics won't change and we couple of weeks away from new season. Slow start and pressure builds
Mudryk has no future at Chelsea, can't dribble, can't shoot, can't track back, can't cross, can't head 🤦♂️The only thing he has is speed but his first touch is like Lakaka 😶 Pochetino did say that he can't understand tactics, I thought he was takin the p*ss but every time he plays, he proves Pochetino right 😅💀
Fr. HOW DID HE START OVER MADUEKE ON THE RIGHT WING
@@Doey-e9t they are trying to give him a shot because they paid so much for him.
But he's had enough time now and has not shown much of anything. I'd have sold him by now. Not worth loaning him out
At least, he understood Poch's tactics to a level. His general IQ is so low to understand the complexities under Maresca
@@nkemjikaprincejohn5907 let's not be commenting on his IQ. We know nothing about that. In addition, his entire country is being obliterated by Putin....I'm just guessing, but maybe he's just a wee bit distracted by the fact that his friends and family members back home might die on any given day.
Give him a break with the IQ comments
@@jw-lk1pe we keep playing this sympathy card but for how long? He is not playing the sympathy card with his weekly wages
Madueke is king
Never EVER start mudryk Over MADUEKE on RIGHT WING ever again
Enzo is slow
Nkunku is number 10.
Madueke is king.
Keep calagher sell Enzo 👍
Fr bro
@fluffball83 who’s calagher??
Let be sincere no mattwr how many player you want to blame that starting line up dont show you want to win a game of football but i think its a mind game
Happy Birthday, Benson. Dont think you got your birthday wish as Conor is gone to Atletico for 40M. But I guess Conor got his wish. Good luck, Conor.
Imagine keeping players who dont even give a demn about the badge
We should put in our academy players vs Man C academy's..
Even guadiola started with alot of mistakes, changed the whole team, give maresca time
Yes duuude
See actually chaloba can offer a good help the guy is good we only don't need Fernandez in the team to be successful
Trust starling and madueke, I smell something good coming
Midfield is congested, No options outwide
Happy Birthday George!
Defense needs a complete overhaul.
most people they don't even watch football they watch the ball, blaming Sanchez every game is just something wrong. The defense is shaky I don't expect much from the Gk, we just have to use the preseason as preseason try out a lot of things accept errors and learn from it. Once the season begins there won't be that kind of freedom anymore to experiment things
