    Thank you for the review. I have the Noosa Tri 14 and I loved running in it until recently but it started bottoming out ( my pair is at 870km). I used it daily and I will still use it for hills running and distances up to 8km. Very comfortable shoe, no rubbing, lower to the ground, light and to my liking soft without being too soft. With the new foam I would be very interested in the Noosa 16. Another shoe I'm considering is the Adidas Adizero SL2.

    Haven't seen too much talking about these ones from reviewers on youtube, compared to the others daily running/trainners superstars. Couple days ago I've seen this Noosa Tri 16 model by chance, when researching for a similar and "more stable" alternative to the Adizero SL2, and tried the noosa at a shop store (where in this case Noosa is practically not even mentioned from this perspective. In fact, it seems to be incredibly overlooked as an excellent alternative to daily/speed training). What a surprise! There are freaking awesome! Nossa 16 equipped with FFBlast+ is everything I've disired SL2 was. It's stable enough to me, bouncy, very confortable and responsive, fits perfectly snug my feet and plus looks awesome. Shure, very lightweight, more than SL2. After 35 miles running with SL2, from easy runnings to intervals, and being someone with mild pronation in my left foot, I totally had to agree with other experienced reviewers that SL2 is not for those who have even a mild pronation. The Noosa became a perfect and surprising solution! Actually, in short, I think that what I've always wanted was that SL2 was the Noosa Tri 16" ! 😆

    Answer to the question at the end about this vs the Nova, I found the Nova awkwardly chunky. It kind of canceled out the nimbleness factor for me. But I’m light and petite. Mach6 and Revel4 are my current choices.

    Not sure why people slag the Noosa tri 15. I love it so much. When my current group of 15s go out I’ll try the 16. I hope the 16 isn’t a squishmallow. I hate that in a shoe.

      Just return my 16's as they are softer on the sole than the 14's. Felt like I would get heel strikes in the 16's...

    • @philipppuchner1115
      @philipppuchner1115 19 дней назад

      it is not. It is bouncy and NOT sinky soft.
      Most testern compare it to the Hoka Mach 6 as it is extremely similar of a ride.
      I have both of those here, right now.
      The Mach 6 came first.
      Now, after getting the Noosa Tri 16 to try on, i really think of returning the Mach 6 and keeping just the Noosa Tri 16.
      I am 1,80m/90kg and I run all times between 5 and 6min per km.
      The Noosa Tri 15 feel too hard and dead in the forefoot after faster 6-7km on the road to me.
      The Upgrade to FF Blast+ is a HUGE Upgrade!
      Just watch other testvideos, especially from FOD runner (because he is also ca 90kg (because of 6ft6 height) and Run-Are.

    Nice!
    I have the Noosa Tri 15 in the pink colour (mens) and it is fine, just a little hard (180/90kg) when longer runs on asphalt.
    The 14 is supposed to be softer + it is the excact same shoe as the Evoride 3, which just has a simpler upper and no features like stretchy laces and is cheaper.
    Noosa 15 has no stretchy laces (which are just usable for triathlon i suppose; the laces are now extra to get).
    The 16 should be softer than the 15 (yay for me) and because of the FFBlast+ than the FF there should be more bounce, so a better, more lively run. Not overly, because it hasn't the stack of my Novablast 4 TR, but anyway. I was also pleasently surprised by the FFBlast+ in the Asics Fuji Lite 4 :)
    Definately going to try out the Noosa Tri 16. When a better colourwy comes out i suppose ;)

    Yeah, I think a lot of runners have been sneaking into the Tri Noosa space. heck I remember SJD running in those things like 4-5 years ago and then the secret was out then, if it was a secret.
    I also remember a lot of collegiate volleyball players wearing the shoe if they wouldn’t wear a standard volleyball shoe from asics …weird crossover I know, but I distinctly remember it

      I got the NB 4 TR, then also a NB2 really cheap and then the 3.
      I like the NB 4 TR most and the 3's the least and will sell them.
      My feet roll perfectly neutral due to analysis (no pronation nor supination), 1,80m/90kg and times from 5 to 6min/km.

    Hi Emily. What makes this shoe a “triathlon” shoe? What was your triathlon strategy to transition from the bike to the run? Did you have to stop to tie your shoes or did you have stretchy laces or something?

    • @RunLikeHeller
      @RunLikeHeller  3 месяца назад +1

      Yes designed to wear without socks and there is an ability to use a quick lace system. When I did tris I had shoes with a BOA lacing system so I would slide my foot in (depending on the distance with socks or no socks) and tighten up the BOA laces and be on my way

    I really wanted to love the 16's after owning 4 pairs of 14's. I had to return them as the sole was too soft in comparison (felt like they would bottom out in the heel of the shoe if the heel strikes) and the back of the shoe hurt my Achilles tendon. The 16's did run half size small for me and I returned the first pair and got another half size up that fit very well. I'm currently on the hunt for another pair of 14's! Anyone have any suggestions for a newer shoe that are like the Noosa Tri 14's?
