This is a new version of my previous video, "Synthetic Reeds vs. Cane Reeds." I break down the pluses and minuses of using a synthetic reed compared to using cane reeds. There are specific qualities of a reed that make it sound expressive. Synthetic reeds are getting better and better and have become a viable alternative to cane reeds.
