Omg definitely know what's in your record: I'm currently filing for secondary mental health on top of an established epilepsy service connection. I have my c&p coming up on 9/10 so I'm making triple sure that my t's are crossed and i's are dotted. On August 30th I had a psychology video appointment which ended after 10 minutes due to me vomiting (bad chicken?)
Today I checked my appointments calendar on myhealthevet and saw the appointment listed as a "no show". I contacted the therapist and patient advocate separately over the secure messaging system to clear this up. Leave a paper trail if you think someone screwed up too!
Edit: not 100% relevant but it's important to know what's in every available record

I found in my C- file I was awarded a CAB two years after I got out of the guard. Never knew and used it for my combat PTSD claim 18 years later. Don’t quit on your claims guys & gals……

How do you request your C-file? I demanded a FOIA after I was denied Crohn's disease and Ulcerative Colitis and migraines. Then my rating went up 20%. I'm 80 now and have 4 c&P's before the end of the month.

I would request it just to see what all is in it. The only reason they said if you are 100% P&T, you don’t need it is because you already know that your conditions are rated as static. Those that are not rated P&T do not know which of their conditions are static until they read their ratings code sheet that will be located in the C file.
