Great instructions, I really love all your videos! Thanks

For me, the whole key to applying an over grip is to not forget where you stuck that little piece of tape. So frustrating when you get the handle wrapped and then can’t find that little piece of tape. Great video. Thanks!

Tony, I taped my handle and weighted the paddle and it really has seemed to have made a surprising difference in my play. Could be a placebo effect but it was only afterwards I realized these were the only changes I made this week. Many more good hits and saves. Many thanks.

That's awesome. Play around with it til you get the paddle perfect.

Well thanks to your excellent training the paddle really feels better than I thought possible; I can't imagine it any better. The best part was that I did not really expect such a difference in play though. (Perhaps it feeling right does it or maybe it is that some of your tips from your other videos finally kicked in!) Thanks again.

The Babolat paddles are well-balanced and responsive in our experience with them.

Thanks for the grip segment. I still suck at it but this helps. 😂😂

Always glad to help :). As long as the overgrip is getting the job done right?

Hello , I have ProKennex Kinetic Black Ace XF Paddle, I wnat to reuce the power as most of time it goes out of court.

Hello. I do not know of a technique to reduce power from a paddle. You can sometimes add pop by weighting the paddle down but reducing? Perhaps reach out to ProKennex. It is a good company and their customer service may have some suggestions.

When I looked up Babolat is says Babolat super tape. Is that the edge guard you are referring to?

I think so but not 100%. Should look just like the tape in the video.

Is there a specific scale that you use to weigh your paddle? Name of brand? where purchased,? average cost? Or will any digital scale that measure ounces/grams be sufficient. Thanks.

I use the same scale that I use for mail and flour for baking. Any basic digital scale will work.

I’ve been watching your videos and realize you are a leftie like me. Do you have any tips for lefties?

    • @BestPickleballCoach

The main one would be to stack. A really valuable technique.

Where did you get the Babolat paddle? I can't find them anywhere online.

I believe they should be on sale in the next week or so (might be a couple of weeks but soon). Keep on the lookout - they are a good paddle for sure.

What kind of paddle are you using

Hi Donna. I play with different paddles. There are several solid paddles from different manufacturers that I like to hit with. This paddle is a Babolat paddle and they are very well made.

Babolat's in the paddle business now?? Who makes it for them?

Hi Kim. They are. I do not know where or how they are made but I am impressed with the paddle quality and feel. Definitely worth giving them a shot to see how they play for you.
