I am EXTREMELY interested in those in-depth videos you talked about. I have always wanted to make edits like yours and Akunohako! But it always seemed impossible, I really want to try this!
Btw do you use the Quixel Bridge personal subscription? I just installed it and I didn't know it needed subs, I thought you could just buy individual materials, I don't want to waste my free trial yet until I know what I'll do.

Thank you so much! I'm already starting to type up the outlines for various other videos so they will be made!
And yessss, Akuno is amazing. I'm mind blown by what they do.
In regards to stuff seeming impossible, I totally get that! I honestly don't feel like I know that much, nor do I feel very skilled. Almost everything I do is relatively simple and all based around simple techniques that most people do. Technical skills aren't required to make good art, but knowing how to use the skills you have is what's most important!
For Quixel assets, yes it is a subscription system. I'm not sure what is allowed on their trial, so I can't help you there. If you're using assets only inside of Unreal Engine it's 100% free, but if you're using them in other programs such as Blender you need to pay for the subscription. That being said, while Quixel is great, it's 100% not necessary! There are tons of free and really cheap sources you can get high quality 3D models on places such as Sketchfab and Artstation. The trade-off with paying for a subscription system like Quixel Megascans is the convenience of having a ton of options readily available for you to use.

Why aren't you selling your own assets? I get giving credit where cretit is due, but from a marketing point of view. You should be plugging your assets too. 😊
