Unloading and Hauling Two 198-Ton Autoclaves

Barnhart unloads two 397,000-pound autoclaves from a ship in Memphis with two 500-ton cranes onto two 12 Line PST Goldhofer trailers for transport.
The autoclaves were hauled approximately two miles to a manufacturing site. The 31’ tall convoy required moving numerous electrical and communication lines along the route. Most of the electrical lines had to be de-energized and dropped. Two sets of electrical transmission lines also had to be de-energized and grounded due to the load’s height.
