- We Found it! The Best food at Vero Beach is ON SITE! Its the Wind and Waves restaurant for dinner! the Shrimp and Grits, the crab cake and that AMAZING turtle sundae! Loved the whole meal and the whole day!

Watching your video because my family will be heading back to VB in early June. We were there in 2014 and they renovated all the food venues after that, so I am excited to see the food options. I laughed when I saw you guys at Squid Lips. We always go to Squid Lips, such a fantastic setting and great food.😎👍🏻Can’t wait to get back to VB! ☀️☀️

Man it was so cool to see the spinner shark and dolphin in action, Mother Nature has awesome creatures. Congrats to Dave on the cornhole game, and to the both of you on a tie at mini golf!
Vero Beach is a beautiful area with great food and fun and it's nice to see it getting recognition.
I’d love to end my Disney trip with a weekend out to Vero Beach. Just to relax after the parks. When I win the lottery of course lol
Squid lips it’s on the Indian River in Sebastian Florida . So close to Sebastian inlet !! Make sure y’all come back soon ! Captain hirams is fun too !!
You really should consider a swim shirt for broader protection, it will also reduce the amount of sunscreen you’ll need

So interesting! When we were there last and were in the water, I told my wife that I thought that a shark just swam by my legs; it looks like I was right! LOL

So glad that you and David finally got to experience Vero! A very different experience than a typical WDW stay, but definitely worth the drive over, in my opinion! Just wanted to share a few restaurant recommendations if you head out there again: Ocean Grill (seafood with an ocean view), Cobalt for brunch (also ocean view), and Fire & Wine (feels a little like a hole in the wall, but the food is amazing)!
At our community pool, sometimes the water reflects the sun more. So this lady every summer would take an umbrella to sit by the pool. Some people might have looked at her funny, but that umbrella would really help her to block the sun so she could sit out as long as she liked. Great tour of Vero Beach! Looks like a nice place.
Have you tried using a swim shirt to reduce the chance of sun burn?

DVC show was just slamming the food at Vero, but it looks superb and gets nearly all 5 star reviews on Opentable. Hopefully we will get there August from UK and will be booking Wind and Waves. What is your main camera you use (apart from the GoPro)?

Michael since you are a fan of crab cakes, you should try it at Deep Blu Seafood Grille at the Wyndham Grand at Bonnet Creek resort area. It was excellent.

Good for you Michael for wearing the sun screen it is very important I have had melanoma and yes everyone needs to wear sun screen to help prevent it so thanx for talking about wearing sun screen Michael

Delightful, delightful, did I mention delightful vlog. It goes without saying that I love the Disney content but knowing about other Disney properties and what is around them, as far as entertainment/dining, is helpful knowledge for future trips. Thank you so much to the family that donated their DVC points so that we can share this experience. The food at Squidlips (great name) looked amazing. I can't wait to see what else you experience during your stay.

The best place in Vero Beach is El Sid taqueria, some of the best, and they also have an orange soft serve that is very fresh.
It just goes to show how subjective food is...
The Disunplugged literally just did a worst food on Disney property show today or yesterday, and several people said Vero Beach (Disney restaurants) food is not good at all.
I think the Disney cruise line is re-opening why don’t you try to go in one if you can
I'm not big on "relaxing" vacations where everyone sits around doing nothing all day but I could probably do a weekend there :) I could definitely make a weekend of lounging at the beach, mini golf, and cornhole etc.
