Hi, Just write one story for each of the competencies. You can choose one story from your various employers. One Each. Throughout your Work History and Education. Each story should be maybe 150 words. Not too short. A real story showing your competency.

And then you DO have to write an example that demonstrates each of those competencies from your college sports activities, jobs, internships.
Hi Kathryn, I have a question regarding the core competencies paragraphs. Do we right these in addition to the brief description of our employment or in place of them? Also, do we write all 8 about one job, or do we spread them out amongst all of our job history? Thank you!

Can one use the template for any federal agencies, specifically, the CIA? or is this just designed for the Special Agent position through the FBI?

Hi Ken,We don't coach for the writing assessment. But look at your competency stories. Review them. Carefully.
Do you need to list examples of each competency under each job under your experience?
One example for each competency -- throughout your resume. So, 8 competencies, 8 examples. Resume should be maybe 3 or 4 pages.
