Nice one, I bought the same set and had been assembling for 7-8 hours. most parts are accurately laser cutted, snug enough to hold things tight but not extremely hard to putting the parts together, most small and vulnerable parts comes with spare, by using every inch on the plates. I don't have wood lubricant (I might get one after seeing yours), the block of wax comes with the set looks like not enough to wax everything (may be I applied too hard), get your own candle ^_^. So far a pleasant and, clear and enjoyable experience.
a skillful ten years old might able to putting them together, but 14+ is a fair statement.
I am about 4 pages ahead of you in this video, unwanttingly went to sleep at 4 am.

I've actually finished the piece (way faster than I thought I would) and have been editing around work and family obligations. This'll be a three part series with part 2 out on the 18th and part 3 on the 22nd. It's really a fun build. I only had 2 parts break but they both had spares, and they weren't the ones you would expect. As for the wood lubricant, that is the best purchase I made when I started building these things. I tried the candle method and was not happy with the result. Cannot recommend that lubricant enough! Best of luck with yours!

@@thehobbyistgeek6566 don't know if it's my set only or what, the J plate wood is a thinner one and the wood is not the same as the thicker ones, when getting smaller parts out of J plate, the connecting might pull out some splints and may damage the part, although mostly not affect building, it annoyed me a bit.
A thin cutting knife (box cutter will do) will help.

@@phatxausage No, not just you. The wood sheets are definitely different thickness. Sheet L....I think, the one with the Elves on it, is actually pretty thick. I did use an Exacto knife to cut out some of the more dainty pieces.

I did figure that out later, even gave them a shot but ended up sticking with my usual snips. Just not enough leverage with those things but it was very kind of them to include them!
