Listen, as much as I love everyone who came to this event, I will forever love whoever screamed "YEAAAAH!" at the end of Fly Octo Fly/Ebb and Flow. I don't care what anyone says, without that last "YEAAAAH!" at the end, the live event wouldn't have been the same!
I love how they actually say "Splatoon" in the song. It's a nice and beautiful tribute to the title of the game, and in a way to the fans who play it, and I love that it's there.
It's even better when you realize it shows up in Inkoming!, too. The very first battle song revealed and the one that plays during a Turf War for the fate of the world.
All the hype I had when I first played Octo Expansion returned hearing this. Ebb and Flow was my favourite song before the DLC, so imagine my overwhelming joy when it was featured with Fly Octo Fly. Became my favourite track of all Splatoon.
Everyone in my house was judging me, my sister, being the nice person she is, told my friends about it and now everyone thinks I'm going absolutely insane. If I could go back in time, I would change nothing lol
As sad as that kinda sounds, that's how you know they did a brilliant job in helping bring these characters to life. Marina and Pearl feel so alive in here until it makes you forget about their actual voice actors.
I love both my girls so, so much! It's gonna physically kill me if the final splatfest is Pearl vs Marina, I just CAN'T pick between them! Even more devastating if Pearl was team Marina, and Marina was team Pearl because they love each other so much.
I'm really going to miss splatfest, and I'm going to miss seeing these girls in the square... Honestly made me tear up and dance my little heart out. Maybe if splatoon 3 comes, we'll see them again.. and get a final farewell from them like we did with the squid sisters.

Because of games that are so violent and graphic, such as Rising Storm 2, Enlisted, and Hell Let Lose, I tend to have violent thoughts and a hard time trying to socialize in school, but ever since I talked to my teacher in private about it, things started to change. I started to have an interest in drawing, music, and playing guitar I heard some songs from Splatoon and started to like them, and getting into Splatoon is probably my first step to getting out of the violent media and playing something that's less gory and violent. I still get bad thoughts from time to time, but at least they are not as bad as before.
