I would have liked to hear the sounds as you were repairning this unit. THe music covered up the natural clicks and pops of removing the parts which are useful clues of what the parts are doing as removed.

The side panel you remove around the 24 second mark will NOT come off for me. 2 seconds away from putting this thing down with a shotgun.
There’s a top part right under the glass scanning bed that you need to lift up, then there is one more clip on the top of that panel that needs to be unhooked, then you should be good

Thanks for showing the whole thing! My printer says "paper jam" but I can't find the actual paper anywhere. HP's support is useless, they told me that they can get me a quote for a new one but refuse to even try repairing this one (because we need more electronic waste, right...). Is it possible that the paper is stuck inside the fuser? If so, is it possible to remove it or would I have to buy a new fuser (HP support said that they're the same price as a new full printer)?
Yes it is... the fuser pressure roller unravels. and parts of the paper get stuck there. It's quite difficult to get paper out of there... seems a common problem with a rather complicated removal of the pressure roller (removal fuser, disassembling fuser)... but, it can save you money. Unfortunately it is difficult to get proper pressure rollers out there... most of them seem to be crap... so... maybe another printer for the garbage
This is probably extremely late, but is for anyone who is reading this. Remove the paper tray in the front (Tray 2 Drawer), and press the green button, probably on the left side. This will lower the feed and there you are, that's the paper. Hope this helps.

check the resistance of the thermocouple. most likely an error in the thermoelement. since there is no contact.
On the first side panel you removed, there is no way you were able to take it off without removing one front screw (not shown) - so either you broke it, or you removed it and didn't record it. You also didn't focus (or place the camera) on the 4 tabs that need to be released on the bottom of the chassis. Thanks for the sub par video, but clearly your either in a hurry or lazy after watching you bend the left side of the fuser prior to removing the second cover.

Wow i just change it and FYI there is a boton on the left side that if you press it it open the door for the ink just pull it from the blueish handle slowly and all 4 ink box come out
You can change it without tearing apart the printer

Absolutely disgraceful designing by HP, you should not have to take on Both sides just to replace a fuser.

IT is an over designed piece of junk... made to be an ahole to repair and with DRM in the cartridges. Also aftermarket cartridges are expensive and junk. This is not the printer you want for longevity and ease of use. The transfer belt is a real ahole to change as well.
@@KlodFather just got my hands on this piece of crap.. thought it's something small... but... clearly, the pressure roller of the fuser is broken, too. You see the footprints on the paper.... what a crap. I won't buy expensive parts for a "maybe short living period" and the next programmed crash.
The printer even doesn't scan properly to a network location. Standard today, but not for this.
HP printer rubbish like this won't come into my house anytime soon.
@@MADhaseX - I have bought and have had good luck with xerox 6515 in my offices. Bonus Tip... THe cartridges are cheap for this thing and no BS to change. This 6515 is superior in every way.

@@ryanream7283 - Lets hope... I am planning on buying three more of these xerox 6515 units this year. I love HP stuff but these 2xx 3xx and 4xx series are garbage. I have a HP 521 that is amazing but monochrome. The Brother monochrome desktops are good especially if you get the ones that are duplex print and duplex scan. I also have a Samsung personally that is duplex print and duplex scan on the ADF. Simple great K only machine. I have another color printer only if I need color prints and it is cheap to run and service. Bought the color unit on CraigsList for $30 and use it in my office at work. I run IT and I own all my own equipment. One PC Windows and one Mac on the same desk. Keeps me sharp.
