Was absolutely stunning. I used dark soy sauce and an extra egg. First time I’ve been able to do fried rice properly thanks to the recipe. Apparently the Fried Rice from the Chinese takes slightly different as they add MSG additives to it. This tasted not as rich but it tasted so fresh and not full of additives. Invited my cousin over and she loved it. Your and your wife’s channels are 👍 Thanks again . Brian

Hi Ian you sound a little better today,which is good.I love fried rice,and often make it.I think our fried rice is slightly different.We have a choice of pork,beef,chicken,vegetables,or shrimp,then we have house special fried rice,which comes with all the proteins,then Yung chow,which is the same as house special but with no soy sauce,or any other seasoning,at least that’s how they do it at my local takeout.All the fried rice verity’s come with egg,peas,carrots,and onions,sometimes bean sprouts.When you order a Chinese dish it comes with a container of plain rice,only the fried rice dishes,and noddle dishes come on their own, we don’t have prawns crackers. I notice a lot of people saying they don’t eat prawns,here they are extremely popular.
lynne gateshead, a love the young chow fried rice, have a tip for you , add a heaped teaspoon of makeaway chinese curry powder to the rice instead of the salt to give it the takeaway taste and its really authentic a do it its lovely, a also love your kebab recipe, thanks.

hi beddy how i do my rice so it doesent stick is this way one cup of rice / same cup or mug , then two cups of water cold ..put onto stove from cold then bring to boil and keep stiring untill it comes to the boil then lid on and turn stove compleaty off DO NOT TAKE LID OF FOR 20 ish min,s then whal ah done , try it my good freind / also hello to the dinner lady you two our good in the kitchen ian and jen and me cat benjelina xxx

Mine has char Sui pork, beef, tiny shrimp, and it does have peas but I always say no peas plz. I would happily chow down on a bowl of yours if I could remove the peas. Well done.

Looks amazing but I would have to leave out the prawn's and oyster sauce I'd give it a try though 🎉

If u mean the Chinese style red pork it's just a packet marinade from the Chinese supermarkets, I have some in the cupboard 😊👍

Please always wash your rice before you cook them because sometimes there’s pesticides or dirt on it.
