    Love it .. as a retired Bank Manager who has no metal working skills at all , I am becoming obsessed with anvils .. I think I need help!! 😳😵‍💫😂👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻

    I would have sanded off the milling marks on the top. It looks real nice by the way

    Such a beautiful job and then you put it back on the rats nest with those rusty brackets. I cringed.

    How long did you work on this anvil ? I would do the same on my anvil 🤔

      Hello and thank you :). The prepping took me approximately 3 hours and milling itself well... way longer than I would expect, probably 2 hours. I had to turn the cutting edge of octa-carbide insert quite often. So it took some 5 hours to the point of painting, but with bigger milling machine it could be significantly reduced. I really hate to torture my milling machine, so i took only shallow depth of cuts with slow feeding speed.

      @grobischmiede9301 did you really need to watch someone restore an anvil before doing your own? What's wrong with you?
