I drove this thing once. That PDK is stunning fast upshift and downshift. The power is very strong. It feels like it has more power than what's listed. The only problem is it gets super pricey when you check a couple more boxes like paint and wheels.
Porsche have been attempting a shift to ev, which is late. I guess that to simplify their supply lines for what should have been the last year of the high end combustion engine, they put more power in the S than they admit, and claim it is less powerful so they can keep charging more for the GTS. I have seen another video that races GTS/S and the S is barely slower. We picked one up in late july (pasm) and did 6000 miles around europe in august. Great experience. We both prefer a manual transmission, but for touring there is no room to complain about the pdk. It is a joy on the motorway.

You would have to drive them both. This Macan is definitely in another league.
M40i has larger rear seats and cargo space. B58 is more powerful. BMW has better driver assistance. Macan ride quality is significantly better, especially with Air Suspension and more composed at the limit. Multilink (Macan) vs strut (BMW). Macan PDK transmission is far superior. Macan looks better. Porsche interior is higher quality. Macan seats are substantially better. Porsche materials and build is better overall.
@@BurnsRubber How is the PDK better? I driven a Macan S and what a laggy retarted slushbox it has. I don't recall the regular Macan getting air suspension. Shit doesn't even come with a sunroof.
The lines in the road sound really clunky - how loud is it in the cabin?
porsche knows how to make a car even if that car is an suv
So he loved the BMW X3M as well - which one does he prefer???
compared with cayenne, will macan be quieter for the Sound insulation?
I see a lot of design similarities to my Audi Q5.
Hi there, can you please review the Macan T?
Under the body is a Q5 so it's normal that understeering
Cool car and I like porsches, but I think this interior looks like it’s from 2015 :(
Porsche Macan S is my fav Porsche SUV too. Just perfect size with great handling. Cayenne is just too fat & large for me lol.
Gts next? 👀
