Hi, is that a Defender gear change form a LT77? will it fit with this Quadrant? Also is there anything else you need to do to the gearbox to use it on the Defender? is the first Motion shaft and belhousing the same?
Hello Allan, I can answer a few of your questions 1 the gear change they are using is from a lt77 without the diff lock leaver. 2 the original quadrant from the lt77 won’t fit without extras which is why they made to whole new piece. 3 as far as I fitted in the last few weeks, if you by their quadrant it’s as simple as the video. I have a disco lt77 and 200tdi fitted into my stage one 109, the gear shifter is too far back. Will this adapter piece fit the LT77 and allow me to use a defender or possibly a V8 disco selector box with the gear lever further forward? Anyone?
Hi, where does the hi low selector go? Does changing it over using the kit mean the hi low is in the correct defender position?
