This is the tale of a cedar waxwing fledgling, he was found all alone by a kind-hearted person and brought to us.
Under the nurturing care of Nanny and her team, the little bird flourished. We named him Cedro. As we watched Cedro grow, we couldn't help but be amazed by his remarkable natural instincts and eagerness to learn.
These video clips collected from our archives are a cherished selection, that not only captured Cedro's journey, but serve as a tribute to our beloved late Nanny, whose memory continues to inspire us.

Nanny’s spirit is still here. We see her in all the animals you help . She is always present. I constantly check back to see if you have posted anything. Nanny’s followers would love to take another journey with you and your love of animals . I am never surprised when I see the brillance in our animal kingdom. If only people would stop and listen to what they’re saying .
Yes it's amazing and I will never forget Nanny, she has for sure put her paw 🐾 prints on our heart for forever! Love for nature and all creatures small and big are so important, respect for nature too! We have the same bird like Cedro ( who is a Waxwing ) in Sweden and they are called Sidensvans on Swedish or translated into English silk tail. Such a heartwarming video and I have missed you dear Honeysada and I wish you a happy wonderful 2024!❤

Nanny looked exactly like our Lucie, who also passed away near the time of your Nanny. We still greatly miss her. Love the origami momma bird; what a great method. ;/)

Hello. Happy New Year 2024. Nice to see you, again with animals.
Two years, ago I was caring pigeon - man. He was very intelligent, too. He plays with my cat's "sick & hide. Then, when the time comes up, he flew and left me alone. Last year he came back with his family. I was, very happy to see him again. Then, he flew, and come back, always to let me know he is alive and remembered me.

Seeing Nanny again brought tears to my eyes. I lost my 15 year old this year very suddenly. He made the decision not me. First time ever for me. I miss him so much.

Diane, I understand how you feel. I lost my 17 year old cat in August. I still expect to see him when I enter a room. I've had pets all my live and it doesn't get any easier, losing them, but time has helped in the past. This one is going to take a while. He was the best cat I've ever had. I'm so sorry you are going through this. You aren't alone though, if that helps any. Seeing Nanny brought tears to my eyes too. She was very special.

Twice a year my backyard trees are filled with Waxwings here in San Antonio. I keep 3 birdbaths out with clean fresh water for all birds but those Waxwings really appreciate my effort. They come all at once then just as suddenly they move on. Such elegant, well-behaved birds. So bittersweet seeing Nanny again. Good to learn you are well and we all hope to see you again soon. Looking back at this footage must make you miss Nanny's constant presence. My cat passed away after a short illness at the ripe old age of about 14 years approximately two years ago and she is still fondly remembered and missed.

You are so clever! That Mama Cedar Waxwing puppet was brilliant! We get flocks of them for our cotoneaster and pyracantha berries--just about now (November-December in Northern California.) One of my cats sat with me while I watched the video--and even went up to the screen to paw at Cedro! If I'm outside and I hear the flock coming with their high-frequency calls, I try to see where they are feeding. It was nice seeing Nanny again 💖--even though we know she's gone 💔

De même que Cedro est revenu après un an sur son arbre, de même l’Ame de Nanny se réincarnera en chat l’an prochain, pour vous retrouver, comme elle me l’avait dit dans un rêve très fort l’an dernier « dis - lui que je reviens dans deux ans « annonçait- elle , donc en 2025. ( J’ai une connexion très profonde avec les chats et ils viennent me dire quand il y quelque chose d’important. ).
C’est d’un grand réconfort de vous voir si bon envers tout animal, et j’espère que Cedro reviendra encore longtemps vous faire twit.
