Let me compiment you sir, for how you immediately understood the power of Dan's talent combined with this classic song, and reserved most of your comments until he was finished. Most reactors feel that they must always stop the video and talk at least a few times. I love the respect and reverence you showed with silence. I am only 3 weeks into my discovery of Mr.Vasc and Amazing Grace was my first one too. I have watched so many of his covers and could not begin to pick a favorite. He can sing any genre. He covered Sound of Silence and he is definately not silent! Enjoy discovering all the many ways he makes songs his own. 😊
I think a lot of reactors try to talk as much as they can in order to hopefully avoid copyrights and other issues and to be honest , maybe I was in complete awe while listening to him, because usually I do talk a lot, just because I cant shut up half the time lololol

Daniel sang this song the way it was meant to be sung, forever. It is a testimony to the evolution of faith: at the beginning we see the reverent shyness of a recent convert and at the end we see the joy of the son who - recognized and accepted - gratefully throws himself into the Father's arms.

7/4/23 The best version ever, sung from the heart of a Christian. I hope you're subscribed to Dan Vasc's RUclips channel by now. He's a 33 year old Brazilian in a metal band, Fearless. However, he sings covers of many genres of music, all as good as or better than the originals. Dan truly is an amazing vocalist with God-given talent. He is a joy! I listen to him daily. Loved your reaction & subscribed - Dan Vasc is amazing!! Everyone has the same jaw dropping, ear-to-ear, head shaking in disbelief at how good this is -- BEST VERSION EVER of this song! Dan & his friends have a band (Fearless) and made an album several years ago. Dan's dad gave him a harmonica when Dan was 7 (his dad passed away from cancer about 5 years ago). Dan took lessons, practiced and worked hard to get where he is today. Check out his 200+ covers - he can sing everything and often better than the original and he makes the song in his style - epic.
