HipHop came out in late '70's early '80's. It was pretty much new of course to everyone. We had a field day with buying records and playing them whether at home or at the parties our families would throw. It was awesome listening to Curtis Blow, Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five, RUN DMC, FAT BOYS. Then of course Dre, PAC, BIGGIE, SNOOP, and all the rest came along in the early to mid '90's and changed the sound and the beat of rap along with the help of Vanilla Ice and helped made it go internationally. L😻VED the Reaction. Thanks. 🥰✌️
It was, hands down, the BEST Superbowl halftime show ever. (Some mention the Prince halftime show, and it is true that a mini concert by Prince was spectacular. BUUUT…the halftime show is traditionally a showcase of several artists. THIS show was IT.) I’m 52, Gen X, and THIS. THIS. THIS. Nobody was fighting for the spotlight, trying to one up the other artists, none of that…this show flowed with great music and was a beautiful collaboration. If you look at other halftime shows, there are always cringy moments…always. NOTHING CRINGY IN THIS SHOW. I cannot say enough about it. Spectacular. I choked up when I was watching it. Beautiful.

I work at a restaurant/bar about 1 minute from the stadium, it was an absolute party
P.S. Nice to see this music was just as meaningful all the way over there. What a testament to the legends these artists are. Thanks for reacting!
The fact that you knew that the beat Dre started playing on the piano was 2Pac I hit the subscribe button
After your reaction to Dr Dre & Snoop Dogg (which is 1 of my favorites), I knew when they announced who was playing this year it was going to be something you'd love! I also knew you'd sing. Couldn't wait for this reaction, you did not disappoint Kabir. 😀
I enjoyed watching you get into all those songs
I'll be 50 in April. Queen Mary J is 51 and still slaying while looking gorgeous. 😍 Us Gen X just age different than other generations!
My absolute favorite. It was based on the talent [ singing and dancing ] more than all the hoopla surrounding the majority of the halftime shows.
This half time show was my childhood. Godlike🙏
Thanks. 🥰✌️
I was at the Super Bowl and it was nuts
LOVE your reaction to it all!
Thanks Elena :)
You do know that was Andersen Paak on the drums during Eminem's set .
Loving the throwback feel
I think a halftime show reaction series might be a good idea
That’s an awesome idea mate!
Sing it Kabir 🎶🎤😄
This has to be one of my favorite reactions, I just love when people enjoy music they know and love😭
Thanks so much Tori :)
It was, hands down, the BEST Superbowl halftime show ever. (Some mention the Prince halftime show, and it is true that a mini concert by Prince was spectacular. BUUUT…the halftime show is traditionally a showcase of several artists. THIS show was IT.)
I’m 52, Gen X, and THIS. THIS. Beautiful.
Great reaction!! Loved watching you get down!! ❤
This is by far the best Super Bowl, and thank you Em.
I love that you are enjoying this so much!
I was in the kitchen getting my hair bleached while this was playing (thought it would be another lame one this year) and I was so mad I missed it!!! Thanks for reacting to this Kabir. It gives me all the nostalgia as well 😫🤍
Hey Kabir. I love your channel. Playing a little catch up here as I’m recovering from covid. If you enjoy the Super Bowl half time shoes, even if for your own viewing pleasure last years was awesome & don’t know a man alive who didn’t like Jennifer Lopez & the smoking hot Sharkira!! Also Bruno Mars has done it twice & both were great but the 2nd once with Beyoncé was outstanding. Off to catch up on more of your videos. Stay well
I'm going to watch it again & again‼❤🎵🎶🎼🥁🎤🎸Thank-you for the memories ‼❤🎵🎶🎼
Great Reaction man🔥
Thanks Bryce :)
The teaser for the halftime show got me so excited. 50 cent was a surprise, he wasn't in the teaser, such a fantastic show. Best in a long time.
One of the great parts of the show was the Bengals kicker skipped going to the locker and stayed out to watch. Shame Aaron Donald put a stop to the story of him doing that and then kicking the game tying FG at the death. Everyone outside LA was rooting for it.
Kabir going word for word with Snoop had me more hype then the video 😂😂😂
I was rapping, singing, dancing, crip walking (my version) like a fool lol !
You should also react to the star spangled banner. Mickey Guyton did a PHENOMENAL job !
Agreed. I’d say it’s been the best since Whitney did it.
Hell of a lineup for this one.
loved this reaction, you enjoyed as much as i did watching it. i am so glad Jay Z is on the entertainment board and was able to get Dre Day approved and letting Dre get his flowers. he's produced so many fantastic songs and this was just a sample of his genius.
Just epic/ priceless u can't remake that ❤
Brings so many great memories growing up in the golden age of hip hop
Totally epic! Went straight to my Playlist! Grown folks music 🎶
In my honest opinion this is the second-best Super Bowl performance and I'm an LA native that grew up in this era of hip-hop. If you haven't done so already you should react to Prince's Super Bowl halftime performance. I think that was the greatest halftime performance of all.
No place like America ❤❤🤷♂️🤷♂️
Props to all the dancers involved in the performance as well. They don’t get enough recognition it seems like.
I like that you know it’s “Snap back to reality, OPE there goes gravity
Ope, there goes Rabbit, he choked” during Lose Yourself. I’ve heard many people say “Snap back to reality, OH there goes gravity” and that’s just wrong.
Snoops tracksuit tho 💥💥💥💥
