There are many topics like how he talked about ayonijakal, and tells that Andal might have born to someone and left in garden( I couldn’t listen to that talk after learning how stupid to make such statements in Chanakya channel). Being an ardent listener of Srj Sri Anna’s pravachanams, no mahans discussed about timelines of Rama or Krishna rather spent time to teach their life lessons with full Bhakthi. Like APN Swamigal mentioned in one of your video, people are attracted towards English language rather than understanding real ithihasa and puranas.
I shared your video to many astikas and good initiative. It’s indeed important for someone popular in society to talk this and spread awareness.

Sir at the outset I would like to say that I am not a fan of DS or JS. Respecting your yoeman service to the Dharma, i would like to express a few things
1) In Sanatana, timeline is always relative, and whatever research one does, all time based inference is relative. We believe in Pralaya and multiple epochs and universes. Any amount of time based reference is relative
2) Having said that, is time important, yes, but not beyond the messages and inspirations of the Granthas. It is good to say Ramayana is some T (time 1) BC or not Y (time 2) BC. This helps in saying it is so long back before the timeframes of the modern day, so as to not dilute it.
3) But the living entity is the Grantha. Its pointers and the inspiration is far more important than the relative time periods. To spread the word like Ananta Rama Dikshitar or Mukkur Lakshminarasimhacharyar or the contemporary greats is more important than timeline accuracy as its relative in our Dharma. Do we know when was Skanda Purana was written. Its too far off to debate
4) On the other hand we believe timelines refresh and repeat. There is no real meaning in timelines except for operational efficacy and for political correctness
5) Everyone has a space and everyone does what they do. If not for DS, many young generation folks would not have learnt about the Granthas. People have their space, their time and work.
6) Having a debate with them is good than to use strong words like Poli etc etc. What do we get by saying they are Poli?
7) You are doing an amazing job, lets say some say you are just doing time-pass and HR & CE is still not dissolved or many temples are not yet got their due, would it be fair on your YOEMAN service?
8) Lets inspire, debate or agree to disagree... Lets not dumb down someone's work by telling one is Poli...

What is the problem with these scholars? We learn from the contents in Ramayanam and get enlightened, worrying about its antoquity and fighting with other scholars can only expose our immature catankerous arrogance + ego
Sir Narasimha swamigal we had lot of respect for you. But this discussion is unwanted. There is nobody alive who has seen Rama's birth. So we try to make guess work based on available evidence. The available evidence from our texts are planetary positions at the said events. Today there is a computer software called Astro- archaeology which can roughly tell you when these planetary position happened in the past. By using this software the possible date for Ramayana was 7000 years ago and Mahabaratha 5000 years ago. By taking into account the human development, the appearance of homosapiens, development of war tactics and equipment one can accept these dates. Just because some purana text says Ramayana happened in the thretha yoga, it would be lakhs of years back, which does not fit in with what science says about human development. Claiming that Ramayana happened crores or lakhs of years back is a ridiculous idea. And to say Ramasathu created lakhs of years exists in the spot, tectonic late movements not withstanding! Please stop this lakhs of years and crores of years claim. I thought you had better sense.
Dear sir, I am not qualified to comment in any way on this issue. But for me ramayana is more important than when it happened. I believe that the time scales of various yugas as is currently believed is incorrect, therefore as a consequence ramayana should have happened more recently in the last few 1000 years and not crores of years earlier.

According to NASA the Ram Setu is 17,50,000 years old. Valmiki in his Ramayana also mentions 4 tusked elephants in Sundaram Kanda which were present 16lakh years back .The theori that Rama's birth was on 19th January 5114 was according to astronomical calculations based on the planetary positions .In the matter of faith it is better to leave unnecessary name calling behind and. worship Sri Ram as a divine being .One upmanship is nothing but a battle of ego.

The question is how Valmiki Ramayanam survived from. Threthayugam. Same for Mahabharatha / Gita from Dwaparayugam. If by oral tradition, then we have lost 1000s of Vedic sakhas over millennia. The word " yuga" meant only a 5 year duration in Mahabharatham.
Thus the concept of periods of Yuga went on changing until some puranas gave gigantic years.
While no one is doubtful about the divinity of Rama and Krishna inquiry into our literature is not a crime as depicted here.
