I plan to retire or reduce my work hours in five years, and I'm interested in how others allocate their income between savings, spending, and investments. I currently earn about $175K annually but haven't built up much in savings so far.
There are numerous strategies to achieve high yields during a financial crisis, but it is crucial to undertake such trades with the guidance and supervision of a professional financial advisor to ensure informed decision-making and risk management.
That's true. I've been assisted by a financial advisor for almost a year now. I started with less than $200K, and I'm just $19,000 short of half a million in profit.

Especially Fargo? I’m 73 and don’t want to shovel snow to my car. Have you driven in snow? You hit the brakes but the car just keeps sliding till it hits a tree, person or another car!

Buying stocks might seem easy, but picking the right one without a solid plan is tough. I've been trying to grow my $100K portfolio, but the tricky part is not having clear plans for when to buy and sell. Any tips on this would really help.
Great list of retirement spots! It’s always useful to see different options for a comfortable retirement. I’ve found that cities like Las Vegas also offer a unique blend of affordability and a vibrant lifestyle, which might be worth considering for those looking for warm weather and lower living costs. Thanks for the helpful overview!
Las Cruces way too hot. Spokane way too wet. Puerto Rico in a hurricane zone. Fargo way too cold. Savannah way too humid. I would choose Knoxville Tennessee. Too many fantastic benefits to list here.
Seriously? Are you folks CLUELESS? You share towns and THEN SAY they have a high crime rate! Really?! When you are a senior, or become frail or disabled, would you want to be living in an area with a HIGH CRIME RATE? Where you can be one of the crime statistics because you are easy to attack? DO BETTER!!!
We Americans who’ve been here long enough know this is not the country we grew up in. And it’s definitely not the country that I’m going to die in. Retire abroad.
Recently, I've been pondering retirement. I've also invested $800K on S&P 500 so i could secure my financial future. i need an approach to invest in Stocks like Nvidia stocks and ofcourse AI stocks that will align with my risk tolerance and financial goals but it seem to be bearish right now.
Best places to retire... damn, almost all have high crime rate. Taxes through the roof, and FARGO.. Ice cold Fargo.. anything else? I'd love to see your worst places to retire...

I am absolutely staying where I am. It is a high cost place , but I have factored that in to “the plan.” There is NO way I am moving to any of these places, even though the median home price is a third of what it is here. Like I said, factor your retirement city into your plan.
I just paid $55,000 for a nice, small home (not mobile home) in a safe neighborhood in TX. No mortgage. I make more than the home price annually. The list is STUPID.

Best places to retire should NEVER include areas where crime is higher than the national average!
Nothing on this list looks appealing. If this is the top 5 I guess I’ll keep working 😩😆
arent there any location with low crime rate ????
