Pretty sure modders could mod a ShutokoRP map into ProStreet. They can mod cars and modify events (look, Papega mod), surely tracks can be too, it's just finding people to make tools for that job and then people that can be arsed
It would be so cool if there were modders who could build these routes into the game and maybe also design racing days for the career with the routes 🥺
i doubt it'd take a year when you think of how quickly this game was developed, if it was given even half a year extra it would already look rather different, based on the development of other nfs games at the time
I wonder about how modders can modify or finish the tracks like shuto, cuz we're dealing with geometry here, and as far as I know, we cant port out map geometry the same way we can export car geometries yet... and theres also the matter of implementing AI nodes, lighting, sourcing the textures and stuff. this is different from pepega mod were you can edit textures or small models into the world.
There are multiple ways to do it. You could swap the track files, or you could just swap track ids using binary and then you could try to play the track you replaced normally in game. The way i did it in the video was just swapping the tracks ids then using SkipFE to get in the track.
The C1 Shuto would've been an incredible speed challenge track
