thank you for the video. quick question, in your opinion: static routes or is-is or ospf for a home lab with 8 routers and 7 switches?

      Hello!
IS-IS just for labbing now (because is still in development). I would use a single area OSPF for 8 routers if thet would be in production.

Scenario, MT Router multiple VLANs with two WAN connections (eg. lte + starlink) in a primary/secondary failover setup. Available is a CHR router in the cloud. (thus 2 routers)
Concept: Seamless as possible Failover and recover transitions between the two WANS (we want better than check-gateway=ping or netwatch).
Connect MT ROUTER via both WANS to CHR.
Possible Solutions thinking of to handle link changes and routing changes:
-USE OSPF+BDF (using L2TP over transparent wireguard). L2TP allows one to set mrru and deal better with packet fragmentation.
Should I also consider IS-IS as a possible protocol or functionality ??
