I think Sandras gameplay was mostly hidden because it was anti production and against the ‘false narrative’ the show tries to present of ‘you must find the traitors’ when Sandra wasn’t too concerned with finding the traitors as she was just trying to make it further in the game by aligning with them, and the only time Sandra is allowed to explain her strategy is of course when she’s banished which i think is the shows way of saying ‘look Sandra’s making friends with traitors how suspicious’ instead of celebrating her gameplay. It’s clear they enjoy ‘traitor hunters’ like Peter more than Sandra even if she had a better strategy to win
Yeah, I think this is a really good point. You're right - it maybe clashes too much with Alan's push for finding and banishing traitors at every possible turn and then Sandra was sort of deliberately denying that. Maybe this kind of thing will change a little more as the seasons progress...
I was waiting for news for the French Canadian version, thanks for the info!!! I'm French, I think I could translate for your pleasure Matthew, but it looks a lot, like a lot of work. I'll be dead at the end😅. I think they'll subtitles for the non French Canadian.
Fun fact: Did you know there is a French version of the Traitors (les traîtres) ? I've seen only the first episode because impossible to find the other for free. But it was horrible omg. The lighting, the atmosphere, the cinematic aspect was totally different. It looks awfull like a soap opera style, too much light, not this Caravage lighting. The host is more a stand up magician, TV host. Omg the joke was making my skin crawl, so wheel of fortune. The drama was not there. The guests was famous RUclipsr, TV people , one politician, so cringy people omg. There were no game play, everybody were showing their hand, to prove how smart they were. In the first episode 2 traitors was on the radar of most of people, because how horrible there were. Oh Jesus, Mary and Joseph, it was a nightmare just for the first episode. I'm sorry to be so negative but I hate so much French TV and pop culture in general. I can't watch it, they make stupid, low intellectual show to lobotomise the viewer and sell ads. And they succeed to do that on the Traitors. I was so mad and sad about it. We have beautiful castles, gorgeous landscape and nice peacock it could have be something great to be proud of. 😢
To change of topic and finish on a positive note, Ekin-su surprise eviction, boo by the English crowd on BB was nice.
I did know there was a French Traitors but didn't know much about it and hadn't seen any clips! What a shame it doesn't look great :( Subtitles for the French-Canadian would be fab!
I am against production hints. There are enough natural hints like the list of players murdered, a traitors voting history and a traitors general interactions with other players.
Yeah. Even though the game is REALLY tough for the Faithfuls, I think it needs to be for the sake of TV and the audience. Giving clues kind of ruins the drama of the Faithful banishing one another wrongly and would actually make their correct Banishments feel like exciting.
