I purchased the Synco G1 set - I have the same good things to say about the brand too - BUT .... I can't figure out if it's me or the mics - I have no end of frustration with them. Mine seem to pick up way too much ambient noise (guess that's because they are omni directional). I instantly lost the dead cats because they don't fit well. They don't come with much instruction so I'm still muddling my way through. It could be that my set is cheaper and last years technology, but I'm ready to buy another brand mic. Thanks for sharing your demo!

Thank You Cindy for sharing your experience. Try contact them for ,,dead cats,, replacement. Do you have ,,noise reduction,, control button on yours? This one have with choice from 2 level and works if is really noisy around.

@@mirovrlik thanks - I really don't think the Synco brand is bad. On my set I have Low Cut setting, which I understand controls things like breathing noises. It also has Gain Control. I think gain control is what I need to adjust. But, I'm finding it is impossible to set the gain levels when just listening to the camera playback. At least it is for me because I'm nearly deaf. Once I get it into editing software - where I have headphones on - I hear all the audio noises and imperfections. Audio in video is a challenge for me, so I'm trying not to take my frustration out on the Synco brand.
