I’m giving my PLAB2 in June but still haven’t found the best way to study and feeling kinda lost :( sticked to Aspire notes and pre-recorded lectures but didn’t find them very didactic
Hello, you can try looking at some of the other notes if they suit your learning style better. But the best way to break the monotony would be to practice the OSCE stations with a friend or colleague. You can also watch RUclips videos of OSCE stations. I'll share a playlist soon xx
Thank you
May God bless you
Fantastic video

Thankyouuuu it was so helpful
Glad it helped!
Thanks for the valuable information ❤
Any good videos for procedure and examination?
Hello! Check the GeekyMedics OSCE videos and procedure videos - I used them when preparing :)
Thanks so much for the detailed video. So around how long before your exam you actually attended your academy face to face
Hiya! I start preparing as soon as I booked my PLAB 2 date - my whole timeline can be found here - sites.google.com/view/rupsgotnochill/academic/plab-pathway/plab-2
please link the prescription cheat sheet i can't see it in the above mentioned link. Thank you for a wonderful video!

Mocks and feedback with dr Samson
Sorry - I don't understand your question - could you please elaborate?
@@rupsgotnochill oh! It’s not a question I was just reminiscing about mocks and feedback by dr Samson, how good and essential they were
Hello
Thanks for sharing it. Can u please share your 1 page summary notes, simman notes and check list please. My exam is in june
Hi, you can find my resources here - www.rupsgotnochill.com/academic/plab-pathway/plab-1
Hey, thanks for sharing your tips, it is very helpful. One question though, is there a way to practice simman without attending an academy?
So, in theory, you could do it without the actual simman in person with any partner since even in the academy, the simman doesn't really work on it own and it's your study partners who alter the observations/provide symptoms.
But, I would definitely recommend doing it in-person at the academy since it prepares you better for the actual simulation on the exam day!
Hello there ! Could anyone kindly share the aspire notes and dr moshoby ? Couldn’t find them anywhere. I would really appreciate it 🙏🏻. Loved your video ! Thank you for all the info
Glad it's helpful! Try looking for notes on Telegram. There are also a lot of free resources available for OSCEs on RUclips :)
Hello Rupali. Very informative video. Could you please tell where to find aspire notes?
You can get the notes from friends who have joined the classes or search online!
Hi. By any chance did you prepare for SJT for FY2 standalone via oriel? If so could you share the resources you used? I could only see one official practice paper for FY2 SJT but couldn’t find any other official resources. Moreover most resources cater to FY1 SJT which is different from FY2 SJT. Thanks in advance.
Hey! I didn’t prepare for standalone FY2! I wasn’t interested in taking up a rotational foundation year post but my friend did. Please drop me an email at drrupalisachdev@gmail.com and I’ll connect you to her
Thank you for this great video! if it is okay, could you provide some of your one page summary notes as a guidance? Thank you!!
Hiya! I’m trying to get them sent over from India. I’ll put them up on my website as soon as I get them.
Meanwhile my other notes can be found here - sites.google.com/view/rupsgotnochill/academic/plab-pathway/plab-2
I have booked my plab2 in July, what notes you will suggest along with ALS role in securing job? Thanks
I'm sorry I don't understand the question - do you mean notes for the exam ?
Grey matter passed 16 no 1
Try Grey matter the best
Hi.. What are we supposed to wear.. Formals like formal shirt and formal pants any particular colour for shirts..
Hey
There aren’t any specific colours for the clothes you wear. I wore a formal blue shirt and grey pants.
So I would recommend anything formal in neutral colours like black/blue/beige/brown.
Also, please wear comfy formal shoes (not trainers/sports shoes) ! There’s a bit of walking around to do between the stations so better to have comfy shoes.
Hi. I would like to know why Samson doesn't allow paypal payment or any online payment and we have to pay only through bank transfers. If we go through this, how are we sure that we will get the lectures and all? There's no proof in a sense. Also, none of the phone numbers given on the site or mail are operational. Has anyone gone through this?
Hey, they send an email confirmation. If you're unsure, you can try an alternative academy -
docs.google.com/document/d/15vhZcWadI8dJmsOeeep7ndFxkskMq8kgRGkOs_FePg0/edit?usp=sharing
This is a comparitive guide for all the academies. I believe some of them allow online payments.
Or if nothing else works - there are a lot of free resources available online that you can use. For eg. OSCE videos.
Hope that helps!
When should I do genius class?at the starting of my preparation?
It’s valid only for a month,
Do they add new stations frequently?
We had access to it throughout our subscription period so I did start watching them earlier :)
They add new stations whenever they get new recalls so it variable
My question is, what should my timeline be? Should I go do the plab2 course, stay there for a couple of months and then do the exam one time? I’m confused on how long I should be going to Manchester for
Most people stay in Manchester for practicing for around 4-6 weeks but it depends on your own finances and confidence with the material
Hey rupali... I have got 10 yrs of experience post graduation, in emergencies as well as being a GP. What do u think would be the best way for me? is it the PLAB or MRCP? coz MRCP can be done in my country itself, doesn't require me to travel anywhere.. on the other hand PLAB needing me to travel outside for both PLAB 1&2. im from Malaysia by the way. Kindly please advise. Thanks so much!
Hi Sachin, I would recommend looking into the royal college exams and then getting registration via them given your years of experience. You could join as a middle grade post then. However, if you’re keen to start as a junior doctor, PLAB is a better route :)
Hope that helps!
4:45 I didn’t understand what you used Mosh o b? Please could you write it and the other resource was computarized what? 🙏🏻
Hello, Mo Shoby is an academy of that name. Computerised Nwanneka's are the notes by a student who attended Samson's classes.
Hello. Thank u so much for the guidance. The link to your website is showing an error unfortunately.
Hey! Thank you for pointing that out. Try this link - sites.google.com/view/rupsgotnochill/academic/plab-pathway/plab-2

Hello Dr Rupali..I have a doubt. Is it necessary for me to have a permanent registration with the State medical council, when I apply for GMC registration? I am asking this because I don't intend to apply for the PR in India, since I'm planning to apply for the GMC reg with my Indian internship certificate and Provisional reg only.
Hey, I don’t think you can get GMC registration only with the provisional registration. But I’m not too sure about this. You might want to email GMC directly to confirm.
Doc, I have another doubt..(since you have an experience with MMC ). I was issued a provisional registration midway through my internship, as MMC takes a long time for processing certificates. Would this delay be an issue when I apply for the GMC registration?
@@LoChEmLeVi it depends on the date of your permanent registration.
If you started working before getting the permanent registration then you need to submit a Gen 1 form.
Your provisional registration doesn’t matter for GMC registration as you do not register on the basis of your provisional registration but on the basis of your permanent registration.
@@rupsgotnochill Alright Doc..thank you for the clarification
thank you sooo much
You're welcome! Glad it's helpful!
Please , i am a medical student outside india i have 2 years left my dream is to pursue as a doctor in uk please insight me everything study plans and everything please sis. Help me .
Hello! I’ll be sharing a video about my whole journey soon x
Do usmle instead. You have quite enough time
That's an interesting comment! May I know why you would recommend the US over the UK for training?@@PasswordGhana
I have failed all 4 attempts what are all options i have please send me the details
You might be able to get GMC registration via the royal college exams route
you can request for one more attempt and GMC might allow you.
Otherwise again PLAB 1 and then PLAB 2
or royal collage exams
they might cause you a problem with registration as you so many attempts (i am not 100% though)
Congratulations. How were you able to secure a job so fast after your plab 2 result?
Hello, I did an attachment after my PLAB 2 which helped me in securing a job.
