Is tht some breathing heavily in background ?? Horrible distractor for an excellent video by great mentor Dr Aman Arora
I believe so. One of the many challenges of live teaching 👍
Thats the sim man
That dr/guy who was recording is a serous asthma patient that needs immediate medical help.
EXACTLY
Excellent so fluent so smooth!
Thank you!
This was beautifully done
Thank you! 🙏
Excellent video. I also appreciate that Darth Vader is recording.
Thank you. We had to pay a lot to get him to record for us :)
So far the best role play ever I saw in the plab2 journey. Thank you so so much dr Arora.
Now, I will not struggle with time management when it comes to the clinical plus situation management after data gathering . Now, I got realised that it’s the ‘ issues bringing on the table through the data provided from patient mouth ‘ , and making them as reference point for the management later on , which will make the management more complete, rather than just regurgitating knowledge of the medical treatment only.
Thank you, I’m glad it was helpful 🙏… hopefully it will help in your role-plays… hope we can further help you in your preparation: aroramedicaleducation.co.uk/plab-2/
Excellent video but please keep the camera away from asthmatic person gasping for air xD
Duly noted 🫡… glad the video helped! :)
I wish I had the option to join your academy but I've already passed PLAB 2 a year ago and started working. Will be revisiting for MSRA for sure!
Congratulations for passing the exam! Look forward to helping you soon for MSRA :)
excellent video thank u so much
🙏🙏
Thanks, please upload more such videos if possible 🙏 😊
Sure
Excellent role-play Dr. Aman! Does following the method of putting issues on the table spare me from losing management marks, in case time is up without talking about details?
In cases where going into detail is important, you may have less issues on the case. Therefore you may have more time to expand in the second half 👍
GOD bless you Dr Arora, your videos and teaching are wholesome
Thank you! 🙏
Had to use headphones , as my dad sitting next to me could think i m.watching some prohibited stuff😂
Apologies for that! Hope it was worth the headphones and still helpful 🙏
I have a question, during the role play @6:30, she says tenderness over lateral epicondyle, during the actual test, do the patient (the one playing patient) say make sound of pain, or do they actually say what we are supposed to find to help the candidate.
The role-player may act the pain, or findings may be given to you by an assessor. It is unlikely that the role-player would themselves say ‘pain lateral epicondyle’ - here it is just for demo purposes
Arora rocks ❤
Thank you!
Are these cases demos included in the video course?
No we run cases like these in our live academy course: aroramedicaleducation.co.uk/plab-2-academy/
Upload more videos of PLAB 2 ....thanks
Thank you for the instruction doctor 😀
That one holding the camera is having some breathing difficulties. Plz help him firs. I was looking for a simman manikin to appear in the station somehow
We already called for ITU support. They’re on their way
Did we have tou use ICE in ptn with preblems
As mother asked for tonsillectomy for her child
We recommend using ICE in 95% of cases. This video covers: ruclips.net/video/7vr0_o46WWQ/видео.html
Must we always have a differential diagnosis to exclude?
No not always. Certainly not if you are clear from history and examination.
So what is the ultimate diagnosis? Rheumatoid arthritis? Here the patient complains of lateral epicondyle being affected,so it can't be student's elbow, right?
Tennis elbow
@@dr_aman_arora yes but is the patient a tennis player?
@@ritabrataroy8430 not necessarily the patient is a tennist! it's just the name used :)
@@mariaoitava376 thanks 😊.Got the point
Excuse me doctor,
it took more than 6 minutes to give the diagnosis and start the management? Don't you think that's too long ??
Nope. 2 minutes can be more than enough for management as long as you have control of it. Sometime data gathering needs to take longer due to the number of issues. If you cut it short then all you have to ‘manage’ is the clinical.
I am so distracted by the recorder who is in respiratory distress 😮
Apologies. He had an urgent ABG post recording :)
How can I book a mock exam with you doctor??
Hello! Arora Mocks are only for Academy+ attendees - details are here: aroramedicaleducation.co.uk/plab-2-academy/
Is the person recording on ventilator or something??
Not yet, hopefully soon :)
Who is breathing in the mic ?
Great stuff
Please next time let them stop breathing in the mic
Yes we noticed as well. Hopefully you still got value from the video 😀
Developed air hunger over here
Whoever took the video needs a doc visit
Already referred 👌
Someone else having SOB!
Being investigated :)
Should we not include safety netting and follow up as thats carrying mark
It doesn't always carry marks - this is a misconception. If however yo think a particular case needs these then there are ways to bring it in early on. Please see the videos on safety-netting and follow-up on the channel for details and example :)
@@dr_aman_arora Dr, you're godsend. i took the mock and i'm so happy i did it with Dr Jade i regret not taking the arora prep for plab 2. worth every penny.
Heavy breathing camera man with OSA??
Don’t worry we have arranged a check up :)
Dr i think u have a copd pt in the room
where is the heavy breathing coming from?
Unexpected closeness to the camera!
So that heavy breathing destroyed it
Sorry that it was destroyed
someone is breathing so heavily please take him to respiratory medicine
Haha! I don’t think respiratory deal with mic issues 😂
Who's breathing in the mic?!!!
The person holding the camera. We’ve referred for a check up 😎
who has been working out and getting so heavily out of breath 🤔
Haha the mystery background course tutor!
your camera guy has some respiratory problem i think. His respiratory rate is like 42-45.
Yup he’s been sent for urgent tests :)
Wow that's great 😊
Who recording the video might have obstructive sleep apnea. 😂
Don’t worry we have arranged a check up :)
😂😂😂😂
did someone else got annoyed and distracted by the breath sounds in the background?🤔
Probably :)
Give that heavy breathing guy a CPAP or IPAP
We have ordered it. It is delayed in the post.
