We have subscribed to Butcher Box about 2 years. We love it. I just wish I had a larger freezer so that I could take better advantage of their sales. The quality has never let us down.
That is great to hear! I am very much looking forward to trying all of their different cuts. Do you have a favorite?
I used to order from Butcher Box. We stopped using them. The chicken was tough. Although they product is vacuumed they leak therefore do not stay vacuum packed. The beef was ok, nothing to rave about. Just my opinion.
Thanks for sharing your experience, we will definitely be on the lookout for leaky chicken!
@@FromtheRootsUp the vacuum packed beef also leaked once the product was thawed the juices would leak out of the package. I will be interested to see how you find the meat also. Good luck!
About 150 for basic box: 10lbs of beef/chicken/pork you can choose the animal/combos but not the cuts. 160 if you want to pick the cuts. I get mine every 2mo. The best part is in the add-on deals that make it worthwhile, you can get fairly good deals on various cuts. Cost is comparable or better vs natural grocery store for grass fed organic, altho that prob depends on location. Been subscribed for 5yrs now no regrets. Generally the customer service has been good too
Thank you for the review. Ginna place my order today thanks to you guys ! Just wanted to give you a heads up on how to cook tri tip. I'm from California so trip tip is very common here. Tri tip is best cooked on a wood fire grill seasoned with santa maria style seasoning which is just salt pepper garlic and a little bit of worcestershire.. Hold your hand over the grill and if you can hold it there for 6 seconds then the heat is perfect. Flip it every 15 minutes for a total of 45 minutes. For the last 5 minutes get it really hot and sear it all around. Let it rest for 15 minutes then cut it down the middle where the grain pattern changes. Cut it in slices against the grain and enjoy.
Thank you so much! We will definitely try this it sounds delicious!
Thank you for your review and insight on this option. I appreciate the time you put into this for others.
Glad it was helpful!
Nice review. Thank you!
I live in the city but i dont have a car. Paying for rides or walking and carrying groceries is hard. Thanks!
I went camping with my son a few weeks ago and stopped at a butcher near wjere we were going, and a pound of rib eye steaks was $23 per lb!
I live in the UK and will look out for something like this as im about to begin a carnivore diet to clear up asthma, psoriasis, weight issues, and hopefully gain a better mind in the process.... i have four boys that are growing like the weeds they eat.... a good diet will do them good.
I have several friends who have done the carnivore diet with incredible results. Praying this works for you as well!
Hi Kristy, Lance and sweet family! I’ve been debating about a subscription, but I just found a butcher that sells grass fed, grass finished beef and organic poultry and the pork is supposed to be antibiotic and no nitrates or those bad shots.
I would be interested to see how much difference the prices are. Thanks for sharing and have a blessed evening!
That is such a blessing that you have those options available! I’m always in favor of supporting your local farmer if at all possible💜💜💜
Price ? Price ?
Looks Great! Any chance they have armerdiller on the half-shell??😅
😂😂😂
Hi Kristy & Lance 👋🏻
Hi Maria! Hope you are having a fantastic week!
Grass fed beef is gross. Grass fed, grain finished is the only way to go.
It's good as in the product.. but as long as you can afford it, go for it.
Yes, I found the most affordable way is definitely to buy the smallest box and then add the deals, many of them are good prices. But it is definitely more expensive than buying the cheapest cuts at Walmart.
