I'm hopelessly in love with that voice and that band......more than 20 years
Amorphis is the greatest Metal band of all time. From the very first time I walked into a record shop and tried the My Kantele EP, followed by the Land of the Thousand Lakes album I was hooked for life. The move to melodic with Tuonela and especially Am Universum blew my mind. And I'm definitely enjoying the fresh direction since Tomi took over vocals. Seen them live dozens of times and there's just no comparison that does Amorphis justice. They are in a league of their own. Always have been, always will be.
If you stumble on this for the first time, my advice is to take your time and follow the growth of the band from Death Metal beginning all the way to it's current incarnation. It's an amazing journey.

I'm waiting for the US tour. Haven't seen them since 2000, with Pasi on vocals. Tomi's really brought a lot to the band; he's got them
