Haven't listened to Amorphis in quite some time because they somehow went into a direction that wasn't my cup of tea, but this song really makes me wanna check out their latest stuff. So I will. :)

Dafür sind sie hier in Finnland absolut Kult. Nicht zuletzt, weil ihre Musik so stark vernetzt ist mit der finnischen Geschichte und dem Kalevala Epos.
Da stimme ich zu. Amorphis hat nach ihrer Doom/Death Metal Ära, eine großartige Weiterentwicklung hingelegt. Nachdem ich nach "Tales..." raus war, entdecke ich die Band, Jahre später, jetzt quasi neu und hole etliche Alben nach. Freue mich aufs neue Album... "Queen of Time"
You'd think I'd be used to Amorphis' habit of blowing people away with their songs by now. omg, I was still blown away by Four Wise Ones. One of their best. Keep it metal guys\m/\m/
It's such a great song. Being a fan of Tales... and Elegy I really love this for being something new but staying true to where they originated from. But here is one thing: What is wrong with the crowd? For crying out loud, you're at an Amorphis concert. Show some headbanging, make a mosh-pit, go freakin' wild. Why is it nowadays that metal crowds are more often than not underperforming whilst the band on stage is at the top of their game? Just my two cents...
seen them three times 98,99,00 and am disappointed that I missed them earlier this year when they were in town. damn next time I hope. they just keep getting better with age
Their voices are quite different actually. Tomi has a deeper, more guttural tone while Johan tends to have more of a "roar". Both are incredible vocalists, but their voices don't quite match up. I've never heard anyone do what Tomi can do.
Kasey: Dan Swano, Mikael Akerfeld, and Peter Tartgren (in some Hypocrisy songs) did this style of monstrous yet understandable and pronounced growls for a long time. But Tomi is a fucking monster, a wonderful singer all around.
