Thanks for another great video. It was interesting and enjoyable. Wow. Tough work getting those tracks on. Not an easy job. Glad you had Wiley and Sonny to help plus the tractor loaders. Like any job you figure out the way to do it and you all did. Nice work. Thanks. The Iowa Farm Boy.
well that was good learning for y'all, I like how you allowed us to hear the sounds of the machines and the music comes in at just the right time, wish others would do similar, thanks for the video and God bless y'all too.
Come along works sometimes sometimes a portapower but mostly it’s try something and if it doesn’t work do something else! Used to have to do this by myself, good workout!
Hank you guys all learned how to install the new tracks. Good to have expert seasoned operators and good friends help you out. Look forward to seeing the next video.👍
The handiest thing we've found for fooling with rubber tracks is a regular old PEAVEY and the only thing wrong with equipment I ever heard was the OPERATOR! BLESSINGS and we'll ask you no questions if you'll tell us no lies. MORE blessings!
Ya'll are killing me with putting the 1st track on! AND,....put that bucket vertical when lifting the front because you're dragging the blocks out of the back. Kid's,...what you going to do! Lol. :)
Look up track bar systems, u can make your own with just pipe i have put my tracks back on in the woods with no extra machine in a few minutes, even when completely off.
Put top and front on get track close then lay pipes between the lugs on the inside on the bottom then drive forward and pry track on. The key is to have a pipe at top middle and bottom at the back which will let you pry the track on. 20 min a side tops. 😉
Your video makes me laugh about the too numerous to mention times I've done jobs where the first time you are just learning and the second time is a piece of cake, good work gentlemen🙂
Hank, please stop worrying about the haters and what people think!!! God Bless America if people don't make mistakes then we can learn a thing and life would be boring!! Y'all always do a great job, your funny and I like watching what y'all get yourselves into!! God Bless y'all and keep having fun!!!
Don’t worry about the why didn’t ya’s your just trying to do it !! It’s not like you change tracks 3 times a week ! There is a method I’m sure but you’ll get it !! Wilys hand signals had me dizzy lol !!
Hank one or two videos ago you were going through that junkyard and you saw a book on a triple five backhoe if you can grab it I know somebody that could use it and that would be captain kleeman on RUclips he's also a friend of dirt perfect I don't know if you watch him or not this is Bob from Vero Beach Florida God bless have a great week stay safe and keep up the good videos
When u prime your grease gun with a new tube leave the metal handle out at first and force on it against something while you pull the trigger it forces the air lock out instantly. Then you can turn it and push it back in out of the way! Ps you must of sweat at those tracks lol 👍
Set the bottom of the track then you can lever the top into place then align the front wh33l by guiding the track on while driving that stde to pull the track into place last but not the least is to pump up the grease and your done
I've never done them on a bobcat but I've tassled with a Cat tracked skid before . Once we took the front idler wheel off it was like butter but this is a different design.. The idler wasn't that hard to install afterwards either.. After that I bought a wheeled machine. Rides better and does the same work for me and a tire goes on in 2 minutes 😂
Reminds me of something I heard about monkeys and a football. It ain't al that hard fellows, once you've watched it being done by an expert! Throttling down the two tractors while you're trying to communicate with each other would surely help.
It really is hard watching someone do something for the first time cause i was hollerin at my phone like "NOOOO NOT LIKE THAT"!!! 😂 The trick is to put the idlers on first then the drive sprocket whilst tracking forward kinda like a bycicle chain
There was this old animation children show called Two good neighbors if you translate it to English. You guys behave just like them. :-D Ten thumbs. Hehe. The track hitting the side of the machine sure took some time to notice.
Putting a bit tention to track will keep it in place,, that slack made get busy with it for hours. And yes lifting it from top will give you more space to play, but great video anyway most of people don't know how heavy those tracks are...
Just making an observation, but if the old tracks are just going to be thrown away or the material will be recycled, why not just save yourself some time and use a circular saw and cut the old tracks (using the appropriate blade)?
Ah I'm just wondering what happens to the old track is it like a core deal where you send it back to the supplier if not why can't it be cut of the machine seems a lot easier I am just wondering I have no experience with rubber tracks only steel, but this does make for good VIEWER content Kym Adelaide
Hank, Wiley; I believe a couple more You Tube videos might have been beneficial. Hard to watch a new set of tracts being cut with a bucket blade and drive sprocket teeth.
Thank you so much, this provided me a great time. I couldn't stop thinking about monkey's and football. I guess I've done this too many times. No offense intended, seriously.
U had the right idea but u needed to tilt ur bucket all the way down where the blade would touch down then lift the machine. then, u put a square 2 inch board between the teeth, then rolled it while pushin with the tractor, it woulda went right on. I made a special board just for those stupid traxx cause they're a pain. Same principle takin em off pry while turnin the track. pops right off

I am worn out after that. Trying to put a track back on in the mud is almost that much fun. Great team work and always great results! God bless.
Thanks for another great video.
It was interesting and enjoyable.

Andrew Camarata's RUclips video on Skid Steer track installation would have helped in no time.
well that was good learning for y'all, I like how you allowed us to hear the sounds of the machines and the music comes in at just the right time, wish others would do similar, thanks for the video and God bless y'all too.

Hey Hank, which controllers do you prefer joysticks or side levelers on skid steers?
Joysticks
@@HamiltonvilleFarm I prefer side and foot controllers.
P.S. I know of a gentlemen up in Pennsylvania repairing a skid machine changing rubber traction exactly the same have Good One God Bless !
Set the bottom of the track then you can lever the top into place then align the front wh33l by guiding the track on while driving that stde to pull the track into place last but not the least is to pump up the grease and your done
Your dad still strong wow! 80 years mean born in 1943 same as mom!
I've never done them on a bobcat but I've tassled with a Cat tracked skid before . Once we took the front idler wheel off it was like butter but this is a different design.. Nice! Good job! Do you have any videos about your flowers??
Yes, the channel is Black Barn Blossoms all kinds of videos there👍
Good job l watch all the show's
Great job live and learn 👍
Interesting video: only suggestion is upgrade to the Lube Shuttle. You won’t have the greasy mess when changing cartridges.
Enjoyed
I love old Wiley, when you gonna do a meet and greet?
Do you guys remember the show "The Three Stooges" well this channel is nothing like that show ... It seems more like "The Three Amigos". 🤣😂🤣
Hank dibs out on buying food again 😂😂
There was this old animation children show called Two good neighbors if you translate it to English. You guys behave just like them. :-D Ten thumbs. Hehe. The track hitting the side of the machine sure took some time to notice.
1 digging bar, 2 tractors and 3 men to put on new tracks, wow!
BFH ... Boy that's Fricking Hard, or Bigger F'n Hammer. 🤬🤬🤬
Putting a bit tention to track will keep it in place,, that slack made get busy with it for hours. And yes lifting it from top will give you more space to play, but great video anyway most of people don't know how heavy those tracks are...

Now you tell me😂
live and learn great job
Have you ever had a hurricane go through there because I see some of the trees look like they have been damaged?
Yes, hurricane Michael basically destroyed our region in 2018. We’re still recovering
you should watch Andrew Camarata's videos, he puts caterpillars back on these machines quite often😊
Do you like tracks or tires better
Gracias por lo del mak camión alos dos
put a piece of 2x4 between front idler and track spin track it will walk on
I'm amazed nobody got hurt.
Ah I'm just wondering what happens to the old track is it like a core deal where you send it back to the supplier if not why can't it be cut of the machine seems a lot easier I am just wondering I have no experience with rubber tracks only steel, but this does make for good VIEWER content

Question, If you were fighting those Tracks so much to get them off, why didn't you cut them in half?
what a chore
I'm not looking forward to the day I need to replace the tracks on the mini or the skidsteer
This one should have been titled DON'T BE HANK LOL😂
Yall got friend the inspector humming bird
wonder if a boom truck or crane would help any
idle the tractor down so you have a little control
Poor uncle Wiley
Bucket of popcorn #2
Front ..top to sprocket..3 pipes 11/2 drop in behind the lower roller bump it on. 10 minutes tops…but I know nothing I’m just a messenger…😂😂😂😂🎉🎉🎉
Hank, Wiley;
I believe a couple more You Tube videos might have been beneficial. Hard to watch a new set of tracts being cut with a bucket blade and drive sprocket teeth.
Sitting here being a keyboard track fitter.... noooo stop push it push it left it no what are you doing no dont do that ahhhhhh
How did you get the Trax on upside-down 🙃 😂
Wow that's an eye sore watching. 😳
Thank you so much, this provided me a great time. I couldn't stop thinking about monkey's and football. I guess I've done this too many times. No offense intended, seriously.
I think you guys should have tried the backhoe I think it would have worked better
why not use a cut off wheel since the tracks are done ✅ any how?
Yeah wouldve been smart
U had the right idea but u needed to tilt ur bucket all the way down where the blade would touch down then lift the machine. then, u put a square 2 inch board between the teeth, then rolled it while pushin with the tractor, it woulda went right on. That's never an easy job
True
No disrespect intended as I enjoy your programs, but this reminds me of the old versions of the Keystone Cops!
The easiest way to prime a grease gun is to unscrew it just a little then tighten it back up
HAY HANK GREAT JOB!!! EVEN ANDREW CAMARATA HAS HIS BETTER DAYS. ADN HE'S DON TRACKS BUNCHES OF TIMES... WICKED COOL HANK... PEACE...
Thanks buddy
