I literally just finished mmbn5 for the DS and just bought the collection. I played 2 and 3 as a teenager and absolutely fell in love with the games but I didn't like the new art direction 4 took and never played it and kinda stopped playing games for a while. I'm excited to check out 6 after I finish 3. Is there still a strong pvp community today?

The tip about MstrCross being fire and then 3 elements that beat the one before it is pretty helpful to me! Specifically helping me practice ElementMan timings. Thank you.
I played my first pvp match today after setting up tango. Matchup was B code gregar with colonel force vs R code falzar with meteor knuckle. Really like the features tango has to keep a bunch of saves so I can get better at predicting the opponent's folder the more I familiarize myself with what chips come in what code
J is very good, particularly in Falzar where you get HubBatch in J code and can use it to do some cool builds that forgo certain navi cust options due to HubBatch's effects. I believe it can also help you recover from Uninstall Chips, which are pretty common in pvp.

One cool note you didn't mention when talking about ZapSlash - If you're on Falzar version, you can utilize B + Left from Tengu cross to do some TRULY heinous things with Sensor, especially combined with windrack * or the Tengu Chargeshot. It's a great folder that either version can utilize very well! Forced movement is absolutely crazy with Sensor chips, I've even seen some set ups that use coming / going road to commit Battlenetwork war crimes - like, just some stuff that would have Wily jealous he didn't think of it first 🤣
In all truth I'd love to join but I'm worried that I won't make it in time since I just got the collection and still have to play through the game. Sad Face

Don't have the collection yet. I think this is a great idea, I hope stuff like this keeps up when I do get my hands on the game.

If you're on Switch it's *possible* but you'd really have to spend most of Friday/Saturday getting prepped. BusterMax + Bass Cross for the win! Hahaha

For folders like ProtoFinish are there any reasons or advantages to why you would play Protoman B and Areagrab B over the * versions?

How does his protoman sp do 290 dmg? Mine does 190
SP chips do more damage the faster you delete the navi. But if you Compare Records with someone who did it you get the max damage too!
Hold up, does Lifesword * actually work in the legacy collection? Because I tried it on actual Falzar cart and it just would not trigger the P.A.
