Your oil pastels on black and white are stunning. I am getting ready to order Mungyo gallery soft pastels. What size box will give me all the beautiful colors you use? What brand of black pastel paper do you recommend? I am a watercolor painter,do you mostly use hot press for your white paper? I notice you sometimes use charcoal,do you have a recommendation? I already have a variety of excellent watercolor and oil based art pencils. I am so looking forward to a new artistic experience. Thank you for your help. Jedn Bordón

Hi, first of all thank you so much for your love and support. I am really delighted by your appreciation. For this drawing I use black drawing paper from Brustro. It’s 200 gsm paper. And the colours that I use for this drawing are available in 48 shades pack. But it will be better to purchase a 72 shades box. Because sometimes in some paintings colours like green grey, deep moss green are also required which are available in 72 shades box only.

Thank you! I was already prepared to order the 72 box size, will get some Derwent charcoal pencils. Can’t seem to find the 200gsm Brustro black, but will try another brand of 98 lb for now while I continue my search.
