I bought the parfum , really impressed, great longevity last all day on my skin, it’s smells so smooth and elegant, I agree with you in the niche aspect , it’s definitely feels more premium than the other two, in my option.
I bought the EDP just awhile ago, and as much as I liked it before, it has really grown on me. Deep, smooth, sexy, and mature, but playful all at the same time. It's a truly elite fragrance for men. I'd get the Parfum, but I heard it's just not different enough from the EDP to justify it.
I have it. It kills. I sprayed it on at around 2:30 and got a compliment at 6:30. It is grown man status. Not loud because it doesn't need to. It will be smelled by those who you "want" to smell it. As in proximity. If you like loud and leaves a strong trail and everyone knows you were there 10 min later, prob not for you. When folks actually smell it, I get lots of compliments. Hope this helps.
Shirt, tie, vest for me every day...couldn't buy anything less. Not trying to gas out anyone, or smell like a lollipop. Bleu de Chanel parfum checks all of my boxes. Plus...the complete dry-down leaves a "Burberry - Touch" similar scent on my skin the next day when I wake up...I couldn't ask for anything better. It just works for me.

Thanks for this review!!! It was very informative!! For me I found the perfum to be quite long lasting I think. I used it one evening, from about 8pm for a dance, and left about 1am and it was still quite good. I could still smell it on my T-shirt two days later and there was a faint smell of it after washing the shirt. So it was quite long lasting, perfect for me! I would add that when I used it, I went straight from work to the party event. So I didn’t shower but I hadn’t done like sweater things during the day and it was winter so I wasn’t sweaty, but I think it would work fine for me even in warmer weather! I plan to use it for special occasions, parties once or twice a week, not so much on a daily basis. But I think it’s an amazing scent. One video perhaps you might do is about how much of it or how to spray it on. I know there’s videos about how people wear it etc, but I wonder what’s the best way to wear it, and importantly how much of it!? I personally don’t wish to “bomb” people out with it like I am swimming in it. Just want it in such a way that it is there and good and strong, but also understated, like not so much like especially some ladies I see sometimes who are just swimming in some fragrances and for many guys not really good fragrances, in fact I’ve seen some where guys actually have to avoid such ladies and I am thinking I wish I could tell that person to go slower on that scent or totally drop it altogether cause it just doesn’t swing! I know that Jeremy and others say the EDP is better than the EDT. However: all of the guys and women I know like the EDT much more. Wayyyy much more. People didn’t even smell the EDP on my skin, while the EDT is my number one date fragrance. Attention everywhere. The EDP is denser and has a different smell. More unisex, in my humble opinion. Try before you buy. Ask your girlfriend, wife or friends which one they like better on you. Regarding this new Parfum version: I’m definitely going to try it out. Hopefully it radiates more than the EDP.
Martijn M Fragrances wear differently based on your body chemistry, skin condition, and what you eat. So the EDT may suit you better opposed to the Parfum version. Also the alcohol content will increase the sillage, which is why more people can smell the EDT.
Shawn Yes I can see that. But it’s not just me. While the EDT becomes a skin scent for me after a couple of hours, the EDP isn’t even a skin scent. Straight from the bottle it smells brilliant. But five minutes after I put it on, nobody can smell it on me. Other EDP’s do work on my skin, such as Sauvage and Grey Vetiver. It might be a specific ingredient that clashes with my skin. But I’m certainly not the only one, as many people pick the EDT when they test the EDP and EDT side to side on their skin.
BDC EdT is a classic modern men's fragrance for sure, but came across just a bit too sharp in the opening for my taste. Now, BDC EdP is bae! When I got my nose on that one I was like, 'Yassss!' LOL! I can't wait to find the Parfum and smell all that stealthy chill. Sounds like a perfect date night sent and just the kind of scent a woman would want to smell on her skin the morning after, if you get what I mean. 😉

I have Bleu and Sauvage.Been using the latter for some time now and recently went back to Bleu.Sauvage is extremely cloying and sharp and Bleu seems more sophisticated and mellow except for the price that is🤔

Yes. The EDT has a little lighter smooth clean smell that last all day. The EDP has more bite and crisp to it but only last about 3 to 4 hrs. Both are promising! I got both....I use the EDT at work all day while when I take my girl out on the town that EDP comes out blasting. Either way you (WILL) get compliments! I hope that helped you bro?

For me, sniffing Bleu De Chanel is kinda like rubbing tiny bits of rusted metal against my sensitive olfactory sensors, resulting in a raging headache and three hour recovery time. But will I enjoy this one as much?

Collecting opinions on this fragrance from different reviewers and came across this one. The fragrance is in my cart as I’m typing this. A blind buy because I haven’t actually smelled it. I’m just buying it off of the notes that compose the fragrance. Wow! I haven’t been to Roosevelt Field in a long time…maybe since 2018 or 2019 and this’ll be 2022 in a few days.

Great to hear your thoughts on this, Tiff! I think I'm in the relative minority of those that prefer the EDT over the EDP but I'm nevertheless intrigued to try another version with a similar DNA. I think that if the EDT didn't exist, I would own the EDP, but I just prefer the original freshness of the EDT over the EDP. I'll be happy to try out the Parfum when my decant arrives in the mail this week.

Lucifer Sam No, it's great, but if you already have the EDP you are just getting a higher concentration of that. It lasted 10-11 hours on a sweaty day. It's good.

Just got my bottle today. First impression after a couple of hours...smells pretty similar to the EDP version(probably my favorite designer fragrance of all time) with a touch less brightness and a touch more strength to it on the base note side of things. That's just describing the smell, I don't know about performance yet, but based on smell alone, I think I prefer the EDP a little more than the Parfum, I like that extra citrus brightness a bit more. My opinion may change with more time but my first impression is usually pretty close. Can't wait for your review!
Tiff Benson I wore it all last night and am wearing it again today at work. At this point I can say I am personally a little let down because I was expecting more. This seems to my nose to be just a very slight adjustment in smell(in the wrong direction). Performance seems to be about the same as the EDP in my limited time with the Parfum. Overall my recommendation is for everyone who loves the EDP, to not blind buy this because it is way too similar to the EDP making the EDP a better value and to my nose, the EDP smells better. I have been waiting for this release for months but I must say, I’m disappointed because I wanted this to be more intense than the EDP...
I got given the Parfum in error, when I ordered EDP, and they’re so different. The Parfum is missing the powdery top note of the EDP and smells altogether more classy and mature.
When i went to Sephora they had it mixed in with some of the female perfumes but maybe that was a mixed section. I had asked the person if that's for females because it definitely had a male scent but i liked it(she said does it matter...only thing that matter is if I like it😬-blunt but true😁)..i honestly can't explain it because i see it as a female scent in a way aswell. I want it but just dont know if I want a manly -ish scent on me.

LetsPlayPiano not much actually. I put it on neck, behind ears and on top of my head. Plus the chest and wrists. So...about 5-7 sprays.

Ahmad Abdallah we all have different body chemistry. On my boyfriend it lasts for a good 8hours+ the EDP is a bit meh, yet to try the Parfum version.

BDC is the absolute best in that line. Edition blanche is a very close second

Collecting opinions on this fragrance from different reviewers and came across this one. The fragrance is in my cart as I’m typing this. A blind buy because I haven’t actually smelled it. I’m just buying it off of the notes that compose the fragrance. Wow! I haven’t been to Roosevelt Field in a long time…maybe since 2018 or 2019 and this’ll be 2022 in a few days.

Great to hear your thoughts on this, Tiff! I think I'm in the relative minority of those that prefer the EDT over the EDP but I'm nevertheless intrigued to try another version with a similar DNA. I think that if the EDT didn't exist, I would own the EDP, but I just prefer the original freshness of the EDT over the EDP. I'll be happy to try out the Parfum when my decant arrives in the mail this week.

I own the EDP, and it works great on my skin! Is it worth getting the Parfum version? So, is richer and warmer, and for the "mature" guy, but I just don't know.
Lucifer Sam No, it's great, but if you already have the EDP you are just getting a higher concentration of that. It lasted 10-11 hours on a sweaty day. It's good.

Just got my bottle today. First impression after a couple of hours...smells pretty similar to the EDP version(probably my favorite designer fragrance of all time) with a touch less brightness and a touch more strength to it on the base note side of things. That's just describing the smell, I don't know about performance yet, but based on smell alone, I think I prefer the EDP a little more than the Parfum, I like that extra citrus brightness a bit more. My opinion may change with more time but my first impression is usually pretty close. Can't wait for your review!

Tiff Benson I wore it all last night and am wearing it again today at work. At this point I can say I am personally a little let down because I was expecting more. This seems to my nose to be just a very slight adjustment in smell(in the wrong direction). Performance seems to be about the same as the EDP in my limited time with the Parfum. Overall my recommendation is for everyone who loves the EDP, to not blind buy this because it is way too similar to the EDP making the EDP a better value and to my nose, the EDP smells better. I have been waiting for this release for months but I must say, I’m disappointed because I wanted this to be more intense than the EDP...

I got given the Parfum in error, when I ordered EDP, and they’re so different. The Parfum is missing the powdery top note of the EDP and smells altogether more classy and mature.

When i went to Sephora they had it mixed in with some of the female perfumes but maybe that was a mixed section. I had asked the person if that's for females because it definitely had a male scent but i liked it(she said does it matter...only thing that matter is if I like it😬-blunt but true😁)..i honestly can't explain it because i see it as a female scent in a way aswell. I want it but just dont know if I want a manly -ish scent on me.

The Parfum version smells better but it doesnt project as much as the EDP. I prefer bleu de chanel as a body scent so the parfum works better for me
