The exhaust note is intoxicating! I love it man. You know how to keep the poor folks like me dreaming about the day when they will drive a vehicle like this. Take care and keep the videos coming.
You can find them for 66k starting which isn’t unachievable by any means. The only thing stopping you is your desire to work hard for it brutha. Keep positive mindset and positive things will happen.
Your video finally pushed me over the edge. I was hesitant about it before, plus I didn't want to deal with finding an installer since I don't have a lift. I used your wooden block trick and it was a piece of cake. The sound is fantastic, feels like it can breathe now. Great mod, thanks for the video.
awesome i swear i absolutely love how my QV sounds with the X pipe and the original rear muffler and i have tested many exhaust on these cars and this is the best bang per buck. Enjoy it and check out all the QV content on the channel.
Nice. Might have to consider it on mine. For right now I’m happy with the Forza controller so I can open and close the valve, so even A mode sounds good!
i sounds perfect now just the right amount of increase over stock im super happy and the car picked up power and has better throttle tip in now midrange it rips
Yeah your car is still prob tight because it’s so new as well. Mine started to feel noticeably faster after a few k on the odometer, sometimes shockingly so.
@@autofanaticcars so you think this is worth the upgrade it's Allot cheaper than a new exhaust that's a fact but does it give you the pop you wanted but you can still add a catless downpipe to it
You can hear the Ferrari California sound with the new exhaust! Alfa made this engine by modifying the California by removing two cylinders... great car, and this is how it is supposed to sound! Ciao from an Italian 🍀
Great video. Like the wood stands especially with the wheel stops. Lots of people use wood but don't include wheel stops or chocks. Thought we'd get a glimpse of AF on the driving section.. Mirror turned up.. Anyone that polishes the inside of their exhaust is a 100% Auto Fanatic.. Thought you'd take the burrs down. But then the polish wheel.. Right on.. Keep it coming...
I show my kids your videos. They are in their late 20's. I explain as you do very well why you're performing whatever project your working on. It's great to see someone go above and beyond. Thanks again..
I watch all of your Videos and I Love Your Products However; I have not watched any of the Videos of the Alfa Romeo because I had my Heart set on a 2019 M2 Competition. Doing my commute home today i decided to take a look at the Videos on the Alfa OMG!!! I am hooked, its a beautfiul car and with the Exhaust Mod its perfect. Great Job on the Alfa Videos.
forget the M2 this Alfa is just incredible and is better each day i spend time with it, with the X pipe mod, new brake pads and the Kw sport springs its just incredible how good this car truly is. Enjoy the content not many out there doing this to their Alfa Romeos like I am to show everyone. If you get time please go drive one and drive one hard and for duration and youll see.
No, Live in the San Francisco Bay Area. Thanks for the Offer. I am going to The Alfa dealership in Walnut Creek Ca this weekend. Can’t wait to test Drive 🙌🏾🙌🏾
I copied AutoFanatic's idea but used a 6"x6"x8' deck post cut into 23" pieces with a chainsaw. It worked great with two 164 jacks, but took a lot of cranking on the jack handles. I wasn't sure about using a hydraulic jack on those pucks...
Can I still install this exhaust if I buy it now? My car is a 2020 model 🍀 This video is from more than 5 years ago. Can the exhaust be installed on a 2020🍀 car body?
I find my Quadrifoglio not loud enough. The XPipe Centerline it doesn't seem to make much of a difference, my previous car was a Mustang GT 350 Shelby! I believe the full catback exhaust sold by Magnaflow makes the trick.I can't wait to hear your opinion when you get the full exhaust.
new video goes live tonight check it out, I still have my Gt350 and it spoils you. I may do the full Centerline System or a full TUBI system after the winter but the X pipe did help, the issue is the turbos kill the sound for the interior but outside it sounds awesome. I captured new audio to share i am uploading it after dinner.
Im assuming you were in Race mode or D, but im curious to know how it sounds just in N at normal driving speeds. Do you get any drone at all? Love the sounds its literraly perfect, They should have made it this way stock LOL!
Just about to do a catless midpipe on my Charger, so glad I saw this as I'm 100% going to make those wheel stands. They look super simple, and agreed, much more confidence inducing than jack stands. Downside is it just further pisses me off that my Charger has nice jack pucks on the rear, but pinch welds on the front. WHY??? Why only put them on the rear?
I couldn't find the "how to" wood jack stands. Did you say this was posted or you would later post how to make them. I enjoy your channel and the only grip is the music. I would rather hear the noise of the equipment rather than the music over dubs. Otherwise, I find you have pretty good automotive content for car enthusiasts. Thanks, Chris
Dude I don't know how you got the stock one out in 15 minutes... I just spent over 4 hours trying and eventually gave up 😄 I was doing exactly what you describe in this video (as well as about 5 other techniques when that didn't work) and couldn't even get one disconnected from the cat
You can do it! use the rubber mallet and some brute physical strength its not always easy on your back but i am so use to it by now. try by pushing the pipes up and down fast to loosen both joints.
Any noticeable issues with droning - given the resonator delete? I’d like more volume from my QV, but as a daily driver, I can’t be dealing with droning.
Question, so why not take the stock exhaust, cut out the stock resonator, and weld in a stainless steel Magnaflow X pipe? I would think the sound would be comparable and the price would be significantly less.
I have been considering this for my QV along with exhaust. Do you not need to worry about a tune when changing up the xpipe? It seemed like every time I made a mod on my STI I needed to get a retune.
no need for a tune the cats were not removed and the diameter was not changes this only changes the exhaust scavanging of the downstream flow and sound
I’ve order the Larini centre pipe for my QV. Anyone else gone for this instead of the Centreline X-Pipe? Also, the biggest issue with the OE exhaust is the very restrictive stock cats - I’ve also order 200 cell sport cats.
Looking at Nov 1st for the new incentives dealer advised me to wait to so can get a better deal on that 18 I told you about, drive it Sat and my God it's amazing. So where did you get the x pipe that forza place? Ok so let's talk tires what are you going to run through winter?

I get that you want it louder. But, you'll also want it quieter at times. Go valved. I have valved Akrapovic on my 4C and wouldn't have it any other way.
it is quiet in all modes but Race, exactly how i wanted it but i only really use RACE mode, the X pipe def was a nice upgrade but i want it louder now. check my recent video of more sound clips i posted outside of the car.
Hey, Auto Fanatic! Great video my Man! REALLY love the end result. I have a 2017 QV in Trofeo White and I am highly considering this x-pipe mod. It will surely be the next mod on my list. I really wanted to retain the stock behavior of the exhaust, and you put it perfectly...magnify the stock sound by 15-20%. I wish I had half of your ability to install something like that. I am in SoCal and will need to find somebody or some place trustworthy enough for the installation. A couple questions: 1) Have you ever considered installing downpipes? and 2) Would you ever consider an ECU tune/upgrade for your QV? Thank you for any feedback you may have! Keep up the amazing work!

I saw one of these cars today. My best day ever!
Actually, this is the best sounding Giulia exhaust I’ve heard yet. Thanx for this tip!

I can’t believe you’ve changed your exhaust in such a tight space!
Good job cleaning the pipe bore out. Just the type of thing that makes a great job.

Nice job. About the fit a H pipe to mine. Impressive work considering the little space you had, and the fact you recorded it all

Sounds incredible. These cars have a distinct exhaust note.
yeah its the crank stroke, small piston displacement and firing order along that make all Italian engines sound like music
