"I was at Disney in the year 2000. There aren't very many people who are going to be able to say *that!* " Yes. The highly exclusive club of only about 10 million people that year.
I love it when the adults are more excited about Disney parks than the children are. FR tho, that Epcot music they used to play with the fireworks at the end of every day is fire af.
And just yesterday I watched Jenny Nicholson ranting about current management driving Epcot (and other Disney parks) into the ground. Also, Pleasure Island did not live up to its name.
0:33 is this 90s optimism? i was born in 98 and I cant tell how or when things went from 50s futurist visions of utopia to, we either go extinct or live long enough to become cyberpunk
Grimy Ghost Ive been watching your videos for so long and I know they dont get like crazy views but for me I love them and they are very special to me so thank you!
I think I was at Disney in the year 2000? I can't remember.. All I can remember of disney, is getting lost.. and taking a boat back to the hotel (my parents let me stay.. to get on a new ride; somehow I didn't get raped..) I also remember turkey drumsticks, and birds stealing food
This is true: my first time I went to Disney World was on Jan. 1, 2001. And, as we all know, 2001 was the REAL first year of the new millennium. So, I don't know. I'm just typing this comment to avoid dissociating.
I too agree that The Macarena is one of many of mankind's accomplishments.
The enthusiastic kid talking about dinosaurs is the most genuine person in this entire video.

"Look at this lazy, entitled Millennium. You don't see 1800 or 1900 behaving like that!"
My dark lord, people are obsessed with the year 2000!
No, Grimy! Tell me that was your editing and not Disney splicing the Macarena in right there. I'm dying
If only these people knew how horrible this new millennium is
Last one wasn't much better

All I can say is that I was 20 in the year 2000, and I would have had the same reaction to this then. Cringe, laugh, die a little inside.
I think it’s less about the time period and more about types of people. Some people just can’t do ignorance is bliss.
