9. SOT NICOLE KIDMAN (English) on why she did film:
"It was either going to work or it wasn't going to work. It was like me saying okay I'm going to take this journey with you because I admire you and I believe in your belief. And Lars had a very string belief in the film working as a whole. Without sets, without props. When I was, there was a chalk dog on the floor, a sketch of the dog and I saw that and went okay. And then we did some rehearsals where I pretended to pat the dog and then off we go."

"I arrived in Sweden and the first week was tricky, our rehearsal week. Now he looks offended, but it was. It was two people getting to know each other, and I think Lars had preconceptions about me and I probably did about him. And then we went off walking in the forest and had a pretty, a heart to heart one afternoon, it was a pretty difficult few hours but we came out of it with the same...with a very pure commitment to each other."

"The next thing I am going to do it I am going to do the Stepford Wives, because I want to do something light. But it is more just, I am on an exploration. I know though that I probably wont do this for the rest of my life. There are other things that interest me. And I think probably when I fall in love, that is when I will stop doing as much of this because I will want it settle down again. And I went through a period in my life when I wasn't able to move around, and explore as much. And so now I am living that out and that is exciting to me."

Everything was perfect in Nicole here: dress, necklace, makeup and hair.
No it wasn't, she was fugly with that cigarette hanging out of her mouth. Very poor behaviour considering young impressionable girls and young women watching.

Gosh she looked so so sad in that first shot in front of all the cameras.... and then mentioning that she doesn't plan to act as much forever, that she wants to fall in love again and settle down, and that she had a time with family obligations when she couldn't move around as much....
She was clearly so torn up about the divorce and losing her children. I can't imagine what she was going through at that time.
Leave of a personality like Tom Cruise always hurts, but in her case, Tom left, but the fame and money stayed, so she wasn't left with nothing.

She was super beautiful when she was young. We all age. I feel like most of us age like milk instead of wine. Wine is supposed to get better with age as I heard.

I always loved Lars Von Trier’s films growing up; he has always been my favourite director.
However they is something very disconcerting seeing his behaviour towards Nicole. He seems extremely controlling.
I don’t very much about him personally but I’m going to go out on a whim and guess that Lars is particularly difficult to be in any sort of relationship with, be it personal, professional or romantic.
